Cons: Nil
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Convenient and accessible
Cons: Nothing really
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely. Shower was good. We didn't hear any flights, good soundproofing. Check in and out was easy.
Cons: The restaurant and bar combined, along with the choice of music, which was a thump thump bass beat. Food a little overpriced for what you get.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfort & restaurant
Cons: Sofabed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money and quality
9.0 Excellent
Pros: overall good standard, decent breakfast
Cons: no shuttle to/from the airport
7.0 Good
Pros: Good room, shower, bed. Restaurant and bar was friendly and staff attentive and helpful.
Cons: Room too cold, poor control over environment. ANNOYING TV when entering room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole place was clean and comfortable. We just needed somewhere to stay overnight ahead of our early flight and this place was great.
Cons: We had a very early flight and had to wait at a bus stop at 4.23am to get the bus to the airport. Not a massive deal as the bus was on time and it was a short journey but we'd assumed it was closer. At that time of the morning we were in no state to walk!
6.5 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: This is an airport hotel with no airport shuttle; we had tape holding up the shower head;and the chiller in lobby not working. The staff were really nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely food - particularly impressive given it was buffet
Cons: Pool closes at 8pm (on a Saturday at least), would have been nice to be able to use it later
9.2 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: the power of the water into the huge bath was exceptionally poor.....took an age to fill enough water in the bath to have a shallow bath
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Facilities were amazing - we hired bikes from the hotel (£10 for 2 hours) and went down the side of the canal- a 4 mile scenic ride, the pools were both excellent, breakfast and dinner in the glasshouse were both superb.
Cons: I booked one deluxe and one connecting superior room; both were exactly the same. The description of the deluxe room included a sitting area with views over the garden - in fact if you sat anywhere in the room all you could see was a wall. To see the garden you had to walk to the wall on the small balcony and when standing, at head height you could see the gardens. The picture of the room showed railings not a wall. I learned afterwards that to get a view (through the railings) you had to be on the first floor not the second - we were on the second. The room itself was lovely!
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast and facilities are amazing. Pool and spa is very nice.
Cons: Room is very standard for a 5 stars hotel. Looks a little bit outdated.
6.3 Good
Pros: Close to London, easy to improvise for the week end, accessible by train (no need to rent a car). Beautiful old building and grounds (though mostly used for golfing), nice woods nearby to cycle/walk/run. The outdoor cinema is a nice option in August.
Cons: If you are 1) a golfer, 2) a family with young children or 3) a professional attending a conference, this is an upscale hotel with all amenities. If not, DO NOT GO - I will I had known what to expect. For us (30-35 year old couple with no kids) it was not ideal. The pool was busy and full of kids at all times during the day. For the same amount of cubic meters of water I would have had 2 pools, the larger one for kids to enjoy and play in and a smaller one with quiet long chairs away from the noise, for people to relax. Maybe the Spa offers this peace and quiet, but it was too sunny for that. The entire ground were dedicated to golfing, which means 1) lounging anywhere else on the property is next to impossible and 2) walking is strictly restricted to a few paths on the boarder of the property. The week end felt like a quest for a quiet piece of nature. We found it to walk (in the woods/canal outside the property), but not to lounge. All of this would have been ok if it wasn't for the buffet dinner. Maybe it is a thing, I personally haven't had a buffet dinner in a hotel of this standing and price range pretty much forever. Way to kill the romantic mood...If I pay £60 per person without wine, I expect, in London, to have a nice 3 course menu served to my table. The worst is that there were much better options on the grounds that we should have been presented with. I later saw the small, cute restaurant inside the wall garden, with dimmed lights, under a glass roof, quiet and quaint, and I was green with envy. Good customer service starts with knowing your clients: don't have a young couple without kids book for your buffet dinner in early evening without telling them what they are signing up for. This is most likely NOT what the customer wants. Overall, the hotel is fine, so long as you know what to expect. We did not, and there went our romantic getaway...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The dinner and breakfast in the Glasshouse were excellent, both in choice and value for money. We didn't use the stables or the pop up restaurant in the Walled garden. Facilities in the walled garden are great, really good for kids. The spa was good, although a little spread out over different levels, and for an award winning spa I'd like to have seen a few more steam room/hot bath options, and particularly places to relax and chill out inside for when the weather isn't great. We stayed in the extra wing rather than the main house. It has more of a conference centre feel to it, and is looking a little tired (for example the carpets) and decor. I'd also suggest for £300+ for the night, I'd like to see a separate shower and bath, or at least a shower you can properly stand in rather than against the curved sides of the bath to get under the shower. The rooms felt more akin to a 4 star hotel, and £150-£200 a night rather that what we paid, compared to other recent hotels we've stayed in. Lovely gardens for walking in. We didn't play golf but the facilities look good.
Cons: Facilities in rooms, particularly the bathroom were more 4 star than 5 star. Separate shower and bath please, or at least a bath you can properly stand up in, rather than against the curved sides of the bath. More places to relax inside in the spa please, and I'd like to see more steam room/hot bath options for a proper spa (rather than spa/gym). Overall felt more like £150-£200 a night room, rather than £300+
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow what a place, we will definitely be returning
Cons: Staff were exceptional, facilities amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything about the grove is good
Cons: nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: Rooms was tired Check in was 2 hours late Curtain rod in the room broken and fixed the next day. Major inconvenience
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The gym and pool.
Cons: The bath in the room wasn’t particularly special. It was difficult to get a table for dinner despite being a hotel guest. There were too many cars outside with their engines running. The gym had plastic disposable cups.

Overview Reviews
Located in Watford, Jurys Inn London Watford is within a 15-minute drive of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London and Middlesex University. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
6.0 Good
Pros: The reception area was lovely, the greeting from the staff member was lovely too. No fuss getting to the room. I like the decor
Cons: I didn't like having to park roads away from the hotel. I did not like not having a bath in an executive suite neither a sofa. In fact the room was small and the mini bar had two kitkat bars and two diet cokes. The tv wasn't in front of the bed on the wall but on the wall close to the bathroom door.
7.9 Good
Pros: The lady on the bar where I bought my coffee was very helpful. Well furnished room & very clean.
Cons: Location next to busy road receptionist gave me room on 4th floor which in her words "was quieter". Every time I walked down the corridor there were large housekeeping trolleys they didn't seem to move. Room service dreadful called them around 6:00pm no reply rang again 10 minutes later still no reply. Rang through to reception who took my order. Told would be 30 mins nearly an hour later it arrived minus my glass of wine. Would have been better going to the restaurant to eat. They did deduct the tray charge when I checked out but not good service which was a shame. Breakfast the next morning was good plenty of choice & very clean areas staff friendly. Overall good stay but room service needs work. It states 24hr so phone shouldn't ring out. Don't mind waiting for my order if told how long & the order is complete when it arrives. I knew there was no on site car park but it was absolutely pouring when I arrived & left so turned out to be an issue for me. Overall an expensive stay & I didn't feel it was value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All good
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to everything, the city center, the mall - The hotel is clean, sizable room, and the staff were very helpful and professional.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room, breakfast and the staff
Cons: The hotel was great, but it had noisy guests on Saturday night, Sunday morning. Shouting and slamming doors at 4:00am
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff went OUT OF THER WAY to be accommodating, helpful, friendly and generally go "above and beyond" to provide outstanding customer service. Deputy Manager Rob was wonderful as was Ellie and the rest of the staff!!!!!! I also would like to compliment the wait-staff at the breakfasts--they were AMAZING--couldn't do enough for us...every morning and every day of our stay. Jury's Inn is to be commended on their staff training and customer service policy!!!
Cons: The room assigned to us left a lot to be desired. The room we PAID for an upgrade for, was much, much better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very crisp and clean, rooms were spacious even with 2 adults 2 children (1 in a cot). Had the best nights sleep as unusually for hotels the bedding was lovely! Normally the divers are the thickness of a 2p piece but these were lovely duck feather soft and full. Definitely makes the stay that much better. Food was lovely, especially breakfast. The staff are also very lovely and attentive and actually didn’t act like you were an inconvenience to them, very nice stay
Cons: Breakfast coffee, would be lovely to have a machine that makes different types of coffee (eg latte, cappuccino) but do understand it’s not as cost effective as a single filter coffee option. Great breakfast none the less
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean tidy rooms, comfortable bed, staff were lovely and central location.
Cons: Cleaners chapping the door before 8am, still asleep and an antisocial hour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: ALL EXCELLENT WE HAD A SUPER COMFY BED AND A GREAT RANGE OF BREAKFAST OPTIONS
7.5 Good
Pros: Stayed here a few times always have a lovely stay
7.5 Good
Cons: The pillows were a bit too much, like my neck was cranked up. That's my only grumble.. Everything else was perfect

Pros: The room was large and clean. Even we had a room on the first floor above the street, no noise. The bathroom is also large. It is in a working progress quarter, but it's ok and we felt safe. Very close to Watford Junction train station and to the bus stop for Warner Bros Studios Shutlle. We also liked the Starbucks in the lobby!
Cons: I like this kind of hotels!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything really, food was good, receptionist all were nice and polite, ideal location for what we needed to do
Cons: One thing and it isn’t an overly big deal, we was in room 301 which is right next to a fire door, it closes really loudly when people are coming through and the banging each time someone was coming in and out of it can be heard very easily but wasn’t too much of an inconvenience :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rib Eye was excellent, room service itself fantastic. In house Starbucks. On site parking.
Cons: On site parking to be paid for. Low water pressure of shower. Square toilet seat built for Lego shaped people. Carpet frayed and wallpaper peeling from wall.

Cons: Wifi signal is terrible
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We we're celebrating our anniversary and the staff had put a really nice complementary plate with fruits and cakes in our room,
Cons: The staff was excellent, kind & very serviceable. However I think the hotel would benefit from having some local more seasoned staff was well, who can inform on nice things to go do or see in the neighborhood from their own experience
6.3 Good
Pros: My check out was 13:00 to 14:00 it was special request but staff was keep calling since 11:00 nonstop it was really annoying night staff nice very nice day staff really horrible I would never go back there again.
Cons: Comfortable bed, toothbrush,toothpaste.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We were making a family visit and the hotel's location was ideal for our overnight stay. The onsite car parking is convenient and reasonably priced. We had our evening meal out in Watford but enjoyed a good tasty breakfast in the hotel restaurant the next morning. The hotel has a smart contemporary décor in the public areas and our room was well equipped and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing really, the hotel is very good value for money.

There was very little noise, but they had put me in a quiet section of the hotel. Overall, if I find myself in Luton again, I will definitely stay here.
Cons: There was nothing not to like. I suppose the car parking seems a bit limited, but I could get in. The evening menu might not suit you if you don't like Italian food, but really there is nothing at all to complain about.

Cons: Only one small gripe - if you could you fit a wider shower screen over the bath (in room 100) it would be perfect! The water pressure is great, but it splashes all over the floor!

Cons: Although they are considered kid friendly, the kids meals were never prioritised! Some of us were waiting over 45 minutes for kids meals to arrive, only to find that it was the wrong item ordered. Breakfast was okay, but pastries weren’t great.

Pros: It was better than I expected! Very clean and friendly staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nicely decorated, very convenient
Cons: Dinner poetic was very small
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location good - walking distance from the airport. Dinner selection was good and value for money.
Cons: We were put in a disabled room which was great for size but... there was a very bright green light over the door which illuminated the whole room and couldn't be dimmed. Also the air conditioning wouldn't work in the evening apart from cold air. We had to have it turned off and the room was still cold all night. Neither of these things were great for sleeping. We did speak to reception and they offered to move us but by then we were unpacked and the children were asleep. We were told because we had asked for a cot this was the only room that they could put one in. This seemed quite strange as we have stayed in many hotels with cots and never had this happen before One thing at breakfast that was lacking was the choice of ham/cheese ie a continental option.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing to add

Cons: My duvet cover was dirty and had holes in it. When we went for breakfast at 9am it was difficult to get food. There was no baconand the last sausages went. Did eventually get some. Only a dribble of apple juice

Pros: The hotel was lovely with everything I needed for an early start the next day. There is a restaurant and a bar and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable Recommended if you have an early flight.
Cons: It is a little bit of a distance from the railway station
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for money. The reception staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. Everywhere is very clean.
Cons: There was a kettle in the room (222), but no tea/coffee etc. Why? Car parking is a problem-never enough space. The ray operated bedroom taps are an irritant- I much prefer conventional taps.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is unique to its finest! The bed comes out of the wall, meaning before you put it down you have a sofa to sit on. The staff are on top par, I could not fault this hotel.
Cons: Parking is a little tight but that’s just down to the layout of the car park.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent interior hotel and room design
Cons: A bit further from the airport than I originally thought
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great for one night stay after a long day of travel - very comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Pull down bed
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location for airport. The place was immaculately clean. Reception staff brilliant and even took us to our room. Wasn't expecting that for the price we paid. We had one of the super-small budget rooms with a pull down bed. Small but it was just fine for a stopover before an early flight. The shower was great and good toiletries included too. Other than the mattress being very hard this was perfect for our requirements.
Cons: The mattress was very hard and I struggled to get to sleep because of it. Parking spaces that were available were a bit tight.
7.5 Good
Pros: I spent there 2 nights and I have to say it went beyond my expectation. The staff was overall very friendly and helpful and breakfest was a treat I have enjoyed very much.
Cons: The room I got was smaller than bathroom in our house, so when I pulled the bed out of the wall I could not even sit at the table. The connection to the internet was out for most of my stay and the bathroom had a bad smell from the drain possibly. I booked also for the use of gym, which I have found out is even smaller than the room and contains 2 machines, that were occupied whenever I stepped in. The location of the hotel is not as great as it is 15 minute walk to the town center and you still need a cab to get to the airport.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff member was lovely and super helpful. Rooms are very small with fold down beds. Price compensates and we were looking for an inexpensive location for a few short hours rest before an early morning start.
Cons: Couldn't complain about cleanliness, the room and reception were very clean although there was a slight damp, mouldy smell in our shower room - it was slight though, my partner didn't notice it! There is absolute minimal space in the room to move and store luggage when the bed is down. We put the chair in the shower to give us more usable floor space in the room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was what we wanted
Cons: Just a bit warm in the room

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else.
Cons: Being asked for £50.00 upon arrival in anticipation of damages being inflicted by me on the hotel. Obviously repayable, as I wa told within 2/3 weeks. There has to be a better way of the hotel dealing with this.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff throughout our stay especially the receptionist on check in she was great !! Rooms comfortable but a little warm which was lovely on our return from an evening out. Cleanliness throughout.
Cons: Rooms above seemed to be up all night walking around but that is not the fault of the hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good room size and clean, friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: courtesy extended and breakfast excellent.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location is excellent and the hotel staff very friendly and courteous, would stay here again and give the housekeeper another chance to redeem herself.
Cons: While we were out the maid put a do not disturb sign on our door and left a bag of towels and tea/coffee items leant against our door, this is just lazyness and poor customer service, also the breakfast at £10.00 is overpriced.... just a 5 min walk away you can get a large breakfast with tea or coffee for just over a fiver.
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff were happy and everything was close to the hotel.
Cons: Construction work going on outside, heard everything. The bed wasn't comfy and didn't feel as big as a standard double.
6.7 Good
Pros: The newer modern rooms were fresh and the breakfast was brilliant.
Cons: They state the shower is a walk in shower when in reality it’s a disabled shower and it floods the bathroom as it’s more like a wet room. The view on the bottom floor is awful and the parking is non existent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely. I like the fact that the outside does not look like a hotel. You definitely get value for money Would definitely stay there again
Cons: Location to the Colosseum was excellent. I loved it.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location okay, hotel lovely internally but don't be put off from the surroundings outside. Really like this hotel, great for an overnight stopover. We chose not to eat breakfast at the hotel and used the nearby weatherspoons
Cons: Breakfast costs pricey
7.5 Good
Pros: Very comfy bed and exceptional cleanliness. Lovely soft towels
Cons: Bathroom a little dated. I didn’t like having to leave £50 cash at Reception as a refundable ‘deposit’ in case I wrecked the room. At check out they have to send someone to your room who checks it and then phones down to Reception to say that the room is ok and I then got my deposit back. Had I left a card, my account would nor have been ‘recredited’ for a few days. I am middle aged, travelling alone, was hardly going to have a rave and damage anything. It left a bit of a bad taste.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room with upmarket fittings.
Cons: Paper thin walls between rooms. You could hear everything going on. Very poor breakfast that doesn't do justice to the Hilton brand. Surprisingly the breakfast was no better in quality over a premier Inn. Premier Inn comes out on top in terms of quietness. Their doors don't slam.
6.3 Good
Pros: The pillows were very comfortable and breakfast was good with plenty of choice
Cons: Check in was very slow but this was possibly due to technical issues at the time we were checking in. The bathroom ceiling was in need of repair/paint it was mouldy. The shower door was grubby and so stiff that it was difficult to close. The food in the restaurant was average. Not much to do nearby and if you don't have a car it's not ideal.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Good to have lift to upper floors. Parking for disabled.
Cons: Poor signage. Very long corridors. Heavy doors.
4.0 Okay
Pros: the room and hotel was ok
Cons: the staff were more concerned with chatting with each other than the customers. I ordered food in the restaurant, it was dumped on my table and the staff member disappeared i was left without cutlery of asked if I needed any condiments I had to find my own cutlery and condiments after waiting for a staff member to return i was never asked if i would like a drink with my meal of if i would like a sweet, after a very stressful day at work this only added to the stress
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were great hotel was very clean and new.
Cons: Main Tv channels didn’t work on tv in room. Couldn’t watch MOTD
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: The air condition was rather noisy and I could not turn it off. The plug in the wash hand basin did not work. I did not notice in advance that one had to pay £5 a night for parking, This rather annoyed me, I have never had to pay for parking in a hotel before and it could add quite a lot to a bill!
5.0 Okay
Cons: Leak in the room from the ceiling.
10.0 Excellent

6.7 Good
Cons: I paid for it when i booked with booking.com but when i got there they said no payment showing. I have now been charged twice for the same room. The staff said booking.com would only hold payment as security but will not take it.

Cons: Rooms need modernizing
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Very dated property, needs an overhaul Booked an executive room 6 weeks in advance to be put in a very dated executive room I asked for a large room due to having a baby and cot with us. Bed too small, partner had to sleep on floor!! Normally executive rooms have very large beds! Bathroom shabby! Shame as last visit to sand hotel was good as we had a proper executive room which had been updated. Will think twice at staying again, may choose the crown plaza as cheaper and a better hotel Pool too cold, only 29 degrees!!

Cons: Great location for an early flight from Luton Airport. This was our 2nd stay and would use they again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location. Ideal for flying out of the airport when you want some character and not a soulless airport hotel. Awesome staff, super attentive even when the pub was super busy.
Cons: It’s a beautiful old property. One thing I would say is that the carpets really do a lot to mask the unevenness of the floors. The corridor outside room seven is a bit of a death trap if you don’t know the bumps are there! I fell and smacked my arm with isn’t ideal when you’re getting up at 3 to fly!
7.9 Good
Pros: Bar and food were very good. Bed and shower were quite basic but good value for money. Staff and owners very friendly

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere. Room was comfortable & room staff friendly. Lovely Coral with her cheery smile at breakfast is a credit to the hotel. Pretty village, nice setting.
Cons: Offered a vegetarian breakfast at a set price with vegetarian sausages, but there were none until our last day. Meanwhile, we were charged the full amount without what was offered except once. We went elsewhere for this reason on a couple of occasions. 5.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was nice. The room was good size.
Cons: The place seemed understaffed. The service when you got it was great but that was the thing they were really understaffed and felt like the waitress was spread thin. Got ingnored a lot for being polite as several other guests where served before us even though they arrived after us because they were brass and loud. The waiting staff were friendly apart from the youngest who throw my food down not once but on 4 different occasions.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Warm, friendly welcome, room was warm and comfortable and the beds were comfortable and we slept well. Tea and Coffee facilities in room. We had lunch and the food was lovely and reasonably priced. Pros: The staf were extremely helpful and friendly
Cons: The menu was Uninteresting and we did expect a proper menu in the restaurant not the same menu as in the bar (snacks) Wine was excessively expensive for what it was. Breakfast if you were not Having cooked but only continental was poor.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was good for Harry Potter studios and the room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: Me and my partner paid for a superior double room and ended up in an out building in a room which I believe was a single occupancy room. There was only one towel, one coffee etc.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice approach to the hotel and good grounds
Cons: Bedrooms far to small, in need of decorating, doors bang all Night long and the swimming g pool was shut
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is undoubtedly beautiful - it was stunning inside and out (including the gardens). When we arrived 10 minutes early to check in, our room wasn't yet ready (not a problem). The check-in staff were very nice and gave us two free drinks at the bar whilst we were waiting. The price I paid for the stay was excellent (however, I must say it was off peak). Additionally, it was in walking distance of Harry Potter World which was fantastic for us.
Cons: Our room was pretty average (which I dont mind), but the bathroom door was scabby and needed replacing. Additionally, I'm not sure if we were situated under the boiler or a laundry room but there was a lot of noise coming from above our room all night and day. Also, we wasn't aware that there was a wedding fair on the day of our stay (would have been nice to know). It was difficult to get parked due to this. I feel the hotel should have made us aware of this and/or reserved parking for the guests (especially since I contacted them regarding parking beforehand).
