Great value place to stay. The room was clean and perfect! Great value for money! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There were also lots of friendly cats! The accommodation wasn’t too far from the main area but was far enough away from the noise at night from the town. Location is uphill. Great location and good value for money. Lovely little stay! It’s a 15 min walk from the pier but actually it was far away enough to get out of the loud, busy centre which we preferred. Walking distance to the nearest beach but also you could walk half an hour to the next beach along which is nicer in our opinion. The rooms are nice and have a fridge! And free water.
The curtains were very stained and dirty also. Real fair low price. The swimming pool is really dirty. The glass door lock wasn’t working well. No internet. TV doesn’t work. Too high to climb for aged people. Very poor accommodation for money. I did find a few bugs in the room. The way until the hotel. The room was unclean & smelt until you turned the AC on. There was stains on the bedding. We had a few insects in the room & the water in the toilet was brown. It was a terrible experience. The rooms were not clean. The floor for all rooms were broken. The toilet door didn’t close. There were several insects in the room. Blankets had spots. Not recommendable to stay here. The room was awful. There was a large hole in the floor covered by a piece of carpet. The walls had holes in. The bathroom had a dead frog and lots of cockroaches. The pictures look nothing like the rooms, especially the pool. The bedding was dirty, we had no working shower. Avoid if possible. Place is full of cockroaches. We had them in our stuff when we returned from the bot trip. This place is suitable for budgeted young travelers as the the place is located 1.2km form the pier. There is an 8 degree incline of 150 ft before getting to the place, Then steep steps to get to the room. Room's finish is just bare cement boards on floor and walls. Bathroom has no separate shower area - typical Asian wet bathroom. Weak water pressure. lack of lighting. A lot of mosquitos. We kept smacking them and feed to the huge red ants.. Even with the screen door not sure where they come from. at one time we smacked over 20s. Our bathroom didn't drain - had puddle over night. This place is in our memory, but not in our next visit to PP. This property was dirty and was in serious need of an update. Basic is fine but that shouldn’t mean toilet seat needs replaced or cockroaches sharing the bathroom. False advertisement. The facilities are not like the pictures on the page. No mountain as claimed. Cabaña by the pool was burnt down. Steps and veranda was unsafe. Unkept landscape that cause too many mosquitoes. All the good reviews are old!! Now this place is in a horrible state. My bed was broken, the sind didn’t work, the safe didn’t work, trash all over the place, moldy. We entered the room and decided to leave immediately. Moldy, holes in the wall, dirty. The accommodation wasn’t very nice or clean. It’s also a very steep climb to get to the place, which I would be fine with if the accommodation was worth it. I wouldn't stay here again. The water didn't work so you can imagine how difficult that made everything from showering to going to the toilet. All a bit worn out and needs a full refurb. As seen in other reviews, this place has some issues, some of them are related to phiphi in general not just to this place specifically. I found the staff being very helpful, and family like. Price is low enough to justify the deal. I had a pleasent stay. Definitely not party vibes, but if you want a nice quiet place to spend the night after a long day on the island this is the spot to go. Staff was really nice and accommodating too. For the price this is ok ,yes it needs some maintenance but with 2 years of no tourists what can you expect . I found it clean ,yes they didn’t clean the rooms every day but it’s up to you to keep your room clean .hopefully they get to upgrade the facilities. Nice staff! My room was big enough with a double bed, en-suite toilet and shower, TV, refrigerator, kettle and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi. The host was expecting me and signed me in straight away and even carried my rucksack to the room. I slept very well for the 2 nights I was here, even had a swimming pool. The main pier is about 20 minutes walk away. nothing. this is a fraud, do not book this place. room was extremely dirty, towels were not provided and there was not hot water!! therefore the pictures that are being shown do not match with the real property. we are so disappointed with booking, it has to be an audit with the hotel/hostel so the owners can not take advantage and lied about the place. The pool was not working green water with leaves. roof covered by black bags. Not friendly staff never answer with smiles and the typical sawadee kha.. We were very disappointed. Arrived to no running water electric shower broken no WiFi, And full of mosquitos place had blood on the bed sheets, and had not been cleaned,worst place ever. the bed was comfortable, air con was amazing, big bathroom and finally somewhere with a pool! very good value for money! the holes in the floor on the pathways to the room made it feel a bit unsafe. the pool was amazing other than being a tad dirty from being an outdoor pool, unclear if it was maintained enough. staff were very kind ladies, but couldn’t help with bags and the walk up to the property was rather uphill (hard with heavy backpacks!). This is the best value for money. It was honestly a clean, nice room with AC. It’s quite the hike from the main busy area of phi phi which we didn’t mind because it was quiet. Pool wasn’t the nicest but we always prefer the ocean anyways. I would definitely stay again and recommend it!
