Nothing They seemed unorganized and unprofessional. It took me calling them for them to tell me the hotel was overbooked.
Large room, comfortable beds easy access and central location across from the beach and ammenities. Loud AC unit! A minor nuisance.
Free parking, free wifi, kitchenette Very long walk to water from public parking area. Hotel did not provide beach chairs. View was not very good, even from rooftop patio. Room was filthy. Not much to do in the immediate area. We actually drove to Johns Pass Madeira Beach to use the beach there for 2 days and rented chairs for $15 a day and that's what made the trip worth it.
Great value, excellent location. Walk to everything you want and need.
was good from the desk pressure to us to leave before time hour, bathroom bath shower i saw dirty with fungus in the tile,
Very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were installing new carpet and our room already had it. Appreciated being able to have our pet there and the fridge and micro. Beds were comfy and we had more than adequate room to move around.
Right across the street from beautiful beach, heated pool/ whirlpool and plenty of great restaurants close by!! Only complaint is not enough days to enjoy the area before heading back to work.
Very nice place to stay , probably avoid holiday weekends , if you are traveling with families , staff very friendly , always security staff present , outside pool area seemed to be very clean and maintained. Staircase and walls are In need of fresh coat of paint , a little grungy .. Floors in the room never cleaned , sand beneath our feet.. Housekeeping needs to be addressed , location very nice . The rooms seemed a bit warm , Ac is centrally controlled , had to be moved to another room, definitely adjusted the Ac at night as it seemed to be very uncomfortable for sleeping .. Prob hotel watching costs , instead of guest satisfaction .. Keep your eye on additional fees and taxes when booking rooms ..
Amazing location, cool bar, laid back environment
Love the decor and amenities. Overall...a great stay.
Loved the lobby full of games , books and yummy coffee
location many issues with reservations using booking.com. staff was rude about the extra day we needed. will not return
I was really looking forward to this weekend, in fact I proposed to my girlfriend. My room's AC didn't work the entire stay. Then instead of compensating me they charged me a resort fee. I got charged extra for staying in an uncomfortable room.
It was a rip off to have an additional charge of $22.60 per day for no justifiable reason? We received no special service, nor did the resort offer any exceptional amenities? The overall experience was mediocre and I would not recommend it to my friends or family.
I stayed by the pool right on the beach I had to pay$60 extra to have a decent room
We found our stay to be very relaxing, clean. Staff was great as well as amenities! All kinds of activities onsite. Plus.. It's on the beach and close to local attractions and thanks to their 'in-room' book, we went deepsea fishing and dolphin watching. Loved the decor and atmosphere! PCI needs more ice machines, that's it!
Locartion is so key on this property staff was super friendly and the common areas were well designed and cute. The rooms themselves felt pretty cheap and dirty. The floor was so dirty it left our clean bare feet black. Everything felt pretty old and used up, including the pool towels. Outside areas on pool rooms were warn out as well. Needs some TLC for sure.
Affordable, location on the beach, and staff were all great.
Liked the beachy/surfer "feel" of the location. I travelled in January and the weather wasn't great (windy and cold) plus there is some construction going on, mostly in the main lobby I believe. This really didn't impact my trip, as I was there for a friends wedding taking place literally just down the road. For the money and location, great value. I'd love to come back here and enjoy the pool/beach during the summer! Loud people next door and above my room - or perhaps the walls are just a little thin? The room could use some new paint and a few non-essential updates.
The location is great! Walking distance is most anything! Price I think was appropiate and it was nice! Would go there again!! Rooms could be bigger, but other than that I can't think of anything!!
The resort is great, right on the beach. The staff is nice, overall a great stay at Alden.
several pools. toys/floaties provided. very kids friendly. beautiful beach to walk lots of shells to find. lots of room in the suites, great value for your money.
Great location on the beach with friendly and helpful staff. Also has nice, big rooms that are great for kids. The last day we were there it appeared as though someone forgot to empty the pool trash cans. However, otherwise and at other times (we have stayed there many times) the Alden is always very clean.
Can't beat the location for beach time. The staff is friendly. The grounds are well tended. The facilities are definitely dated; the property could use some sprucing up.
We have stayed at the Alden for the last 3 to 4 yeras and find it a good place to hang out and enjoy the breach. The staff is very responsive to any request you made to them. Good job by all.
The staff at Alden Suites made you feel like you were staying in a 5-star hotel. They were so kind, helpful and very accommodating. I did not like that there was not a work-out facility on the premise.
The kitchenette, complimentary coffee and daily newspaper were appreciated. Not as dog friendly as advertised.
Staff was friendly, great location, clean rooms, great value
The hotel was great for the price! Friendly staff, clean, close to beach and restaurants, plenty of parking, 2 pools, 1 hot tub, elevators, tennis courts, shuffle board, etc. Hotel provided a crib for our 8 month old but we ended up bringing our own pack and play. Able to rent out cabanas on beach daily for $25, which provided a nice shaded area for the baby. The hotel was clean but it was kind of dated. Smoking was allowed by the pool areas. The bar on the beach closed super early on the weekend.
Loved the location and beachfront access. Close to a lot of great restaurants and bars. The staff was awesome and very friendly. We forgot a shirt and bottle of cologne at checkout. They called about an hour later to tell us that we left some things behind. That was very unexpected and very much welcomed. Great family hotel with lots to do with the kids. There was sand all over the room like the floors hadn't been vacuumed from the previous visitors. It was definitely irritating that house keeping left an envelope for tips. We couldn't take our shoes off. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bathrooms were dated. Parking was very tight also. If you were driving after dinner time, good luck parking.
There were a variety of activities; shuffle board, ping pong, bags, basketball and tennis. The rooms do not even remotely resemble the pictures, they are beyond dated to the point of grungy. There is a small stove with a frying pan and a pot but nothing to bake with. The rooms smell bad and there is really no control over the temperature of your room.
Room / balcony & View! Elevators to few & slow.
Incredibly clean and up-to-date hotel. Treasure Island is an old city, but this hotel is not. No restaurants or bars within a 5-minute walk.
Close to the beach, staff was excellent, breakfast in the morning, location,
Balcony overlooking Gulf of Mexico; size of room, size and layout of bathroom, quiet Only one good rsstaurant within easy walking distancehttps://maps.google.com/maps?q=Party+City%4042.1151914,-87.9843942
We came with a few other families with their grown children. Love the pools with food and drink service and the entertainment is fantastic at Jimmy B's! Check in was after 4pm but they gave us certificateso to use at Jimmy B's which made it well worth the inconvenience.
Awesome staff, great bar, and the location is the best on the beach for entertainment and people Kind of trashy
I liked that it seemed like the center of activity on the beach. Jimmy B's was right there on the beach, grab a dri K listen to the ocean or the band. The courtyard was nice to have chairs outside your room to sit and relax. Parking was tight and often almost full.
The room and staff were wonderful. Gary the entertainer at Jimmy Bs was awesome. The food was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful. Richard at the front desk was more than hospitable. Everything was just perfect
It is so close to the beach and we'll placed on the string of resorts.Jmost everything is wishing walk it distance and theres a 7 11 right across the street. I had little bugs in my room the whole stay. Not bed bugs but small insects and I was on the top floor. Also everything in my room just felt dirty. The floor was dirty, the corners of the room had visible dust and the Bathroom fixtures were dirty. Lime and calciumcaked on butt the sink faucet and the shower head. Shower water pressure was bad and any time a toilet was flushed in the hotel it was scaulding hot! Mattresses were pretty bad too.
I love everything about Beachcomber!!
Perfect place for a getaway. On the beach. Live music at Jimmie B's. Heated pools. Great wait staff.
Very large room with kitchen and large closet Bugs, no view, loud beach bar, aggressive parking attendant, mediocre front desk, commercial type toilet, old shower fixtures, overall uncleanliness
Right on the beach, close to everything, friendly staff A little dated, but all of the hotels nearby on St. Pete Beach seemed to be this way. Lots of kids playing all the time in the courtyard, lots of adults down at Jimmy B's Bar & Grill.
Easy access to beach Broken lamp Dead battery in TV remote
Location Too noisy at night. Rooms old and outdated.
Near beach. Very Noisy. Dirty carpet.
Beach location. Music at two different Bar/Restaurants. Breakfast at the Rum Runners Bar Area was good and right where the beach begins with a nice view of the gulf. Housekeeping did a good job making sure we didn't run out of amenities, coffee or towels. A little outdated but very clean. Ran out of toilet paper once since there wasn't an extra replaced under the sink that we used but there were tissues (housekeeping didn't notice right away.) There was a dehumidifier in the room that we had to empty ourselves 3 times since it would stop working once it was full. We thought housekeeping would take care of it but when they didn't, we did it ourselves rather than calling for someone to come each time. We had an evening flight and asked for an extended checkout. We were told that our room type was completely booked. They told us we could only have till noon when we wanted till 2 or 3 pm. We were there for 8 days and since check in wasn't until 4 pm we didn't think it was too much to ask. Then we found out we could pay extra to stay a few hours more which we did. Just felt that we were there for a long enough stay that it should have been a courtesy. Forgot to mention the night we came back to the room during a tropical storm we couldn't get into our room because the latch somehow latched when housekeeping closed the door leaving us in pouring rain and 50 mile an hour winds trying to get in at 8:30 at night. . We had to wait in a stairwell since the doors are open to the outside to try to call the front desk since the weather was too bad and it was too far for us to walk to the front desk. The phone number on the room key is for reservations. It took 3 calls and 1/2 hour to connect to an operator for the hotel. Lucky for us security came by in the stairwell at that point and went to get a special tool to open our room. I recommend keeping the front desk direct phone number on your phone for emergencies.
Love all staff, very nice
love the location and the pools are great. Harry's is delish. Some of the wait staff were not that great. The male waiter at Harry's took forever and would rarely check on you.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, good location on St. Pete Beach Poor service at breakfast restaurant with squirrels under outer table. Worn out facilities.
The beach The fact I got in my room an hour after they said I could. I had to call to get my room cleaned after 4 days of no room service
my room was very nice
The resort was very nice and was "on the beach"! Staff was very informative and helpful. Bernard helped us to our room and was very pleasant and gave us the information about the pools and the several restaurants on sight. The beds were not very comfortable. There were alot of children and if you are looking for an adult resort; this is not your place. Parking was sometimes difficult to find.
Very friendly staff, great location on the beach, good food and food reasonably priced, full-sized fridge Bedroom faces outdoor corridor so it is loud (doors closing, guests walking by), room was somewhat outdated
Sirata has everything you need in one resort. It has a close proximity to the beach more than one pool in more than one jacuzzi. it has a clean room nice gym to work out in including free weights in the SIRATA also has A good laundry room. I recommend this ace to friends and I plan on returning in the future.
Amazing location. Loved the private balcony. Beds were great. Bathrooms are very small and could be just a bit cleaner.
Food was great. Mick makes great drinks at bongos.
Location location location! Great food and exceptional beach bar / restaurant. Old hotel. Needs more updates
Friendly staff, right on the beach, many eating options and beach is beautiful.
People at the desk, restaurants, and bars were all very nice. Upon checkin we received a room on the second floor with a poor view and the staff was nice enough to move us to a room on the 9th floor that had a much nicer view. The hotel is located right on the beach and has many options for food and drink. We stayed for four days and came down for a wedding. The beach wedding was very nice and the reception in the ballroom on the 10th floor was a blast. We had a really nice stay at the hotel. This hotel although perfectly located could use some upgrading. Many of the rooms have two beds. A king and a double bed. Nice for families but a bit odd for a couple. Would have rather had a couch or larger desk, etc... The coffee service in the room is pretty lousy. Lousy coffee and then those little packs of one sugar, one artificial sugar, one creamer, a napkin and a stir stick. Drives me nuts. So I went out and bought coffee, filters, and sugar. The pool is sort of small but works. Parking is very crowded. This place does tons of weddings, so maybe that is why.
The beds are super comfy and the staff is great. The view and proximity to the ocean are spectacular. Nice pool area and Bongos restaurant/bar is great. It's a bit outdated and could use a facelift. Also had an issue of cleanliness but it was promptly corrected when brought to their attention.
I was recently in a wedding at this hotel and decided to stay there as well. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wedding went off without a hitch and it was a beautiful location.
Location of the hotel is good. Bongo bar food & drinks are good. Spinners restaurant/revolving restaurant food was excellent. Excellent view from the revolving restaurant. Got to see the fire works all around. Friendly staff. Bed was comfortable We got a partial ocean/beach view which had a big repair crane obstructing the view. Rooms are old even though the staff keeps on saying they have updated...it's not! Bathrooms need an update. Shower tap was reversed with hot & cold water. Price paid for the hotel room was not worth it.
Room was nice. Bar under window open till 300am .loud music. 600am maintenence people start loud machinery. Crazy. No sleep.
I love the restaurant that they have on the roof top. I also love the views. N/A
The best price for beach front. Room was dirty, stain on sheets, hair on bathroom floor and in shower. Breakfast food not the good for the price but iHop is across the street.
We loved the rooms ! Everything was new and updated, including the floorin . All the rooms had balconies and the all white bed sets make you feel like you're royalty. The pool is somewhat small. But I like that it's open and not really enclosed. The 6th floor hallway smelled a little musky but the room was perfect !
We loved our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely recommend. Tub didn't drain well. But everything else was excellent!!
Being right on the beach was awesome! I had three grandchildren all under the age of 11 and I didn't want to have to cross the street to get to the beach. The room was comfortable and the kids loved it. They closed the pool at 10 in the morning and the kids had to get out which disappointed them greatly. They were cleaning the pool which I thought was an odd time to do that.
Rooms were clean, hotel lobby, bar, and pool area always clean. Hotel staff were always friendly, courteous and helpful. Ice machine on our floor was broken for the length of our stay
The staff were amazing. That's the only positive. Overall, the amount of money I spent for a 2 night stay had me feeling ripped off. The place is tired & dated. Not worth it.
The beach and pool The staff were very rude, then my spouse had to park outside
Beachfront The staff was rude and not accommodating, I had booked two night but had 2 reservations (1 night stay per reservation) instead of combining the two reservations I had to check out and then check back in. The shower was awful, almost no water pressure and the valves didn't close all the way so a steady stream would leak throughout the day. Half of the power outlets worked, which is frustrating when you are trying to get ready in the bathroom and can't blow dry your hair. The only nice thing about this place was the beach access, but it's right next to the public beach access and I'd rather stay elsewhere and walk to the public beach than stay here again.
It seemed like a lovely place; nice room, nice pool, beautiful beach view. We were near a roomful of partying college or high school kids; we ended up flushing the $200 we paid for our room and moving to another hotel so we could sleep.
Not quite enough parking.
Beach location and quality are super!!!! Beach
The view was absolutely amazing! You really are ON the beach and the pool/restaurant/bar/live music/ rooms were all 10 out of 10's! Not to mention the water sports kiosk right out back where water activities are is your fingertips! We will continue to come back to this resort time and time again... it's hard to beat how beatuiful, relaxing and amazing one place can be. Not to mention on-shore you're conveniently located near even more restaurants, grocery stores and attractions. Best Spot in Florida I've ever stayed. The only negative is that our check in was scheduled for 11:00am - and when we arrived to check in they told us they wouldn't be checking anyone in until 1:00pm.. Although it was a bit disappointing, the staff was gracious enough to let us park, help us put our bags in the back - and encouraged us to hit the beach/pool/ and bar right outside until we could check into our room! What's not to love about that?!?
Friendly staff, clean, great view on the beach, amazing sunsets, good food and beach bar. Convenient to other beachfront restaurants/bars also. We always look forward to coming here! The barstools at Flippers are pretty wobbly and uncomfortable and we'd be more prone to hang out longer if there were live music more often...but the view is unbeatable and Amanda makes great Miami Vices and Bloody Marys!
Awesome location and everything you need if you are looking for affordable accommodation The wifi didn't really work so well.
the beach and easy access to it. Large room with nice balcony view. Very good greeting staff.
Smaller than it appeared online. Very pleasant atmosphere with fresh ice water offered in lobby and pool deck. Comfortable room, great employees. Had a wonderful time.
* clean *great location, on beach * good on site resturant * Very secure * Had issues with booking through a 3rd party * no staris from parking garage to lobby floor, had to run in the storm to get in from parking * $25/ per day security deposit we did not know about
What can I say, just go there and enjoy it! My husband, 2-year old and myself stayed for 5 nights! The staff is VERY helpful, the room are super great for a family with the lovely kitchen area and the LOCATION, that is just gorgeous. Because it is a small hotel, you get personal treatment and it is just lovely. The heated pool is just an extra plus. We loved it and would definitely go back!
Absoluetly wonderful...directly on the beach, clean, cute rooms. We were there for a wedding. It was perfect! Not one thing!
Staff was friendly and courteous We didn't like the fact that when we came back from dinner at 845 the pool was locked. We thought it would be nice go in the heated pool. Since a heated pool in Florida during the day isn't apealing to us.
Great location, super nice renovated room. Huge pool, perfect beach front property. Definitely staying there again!
Great location to the beach. Good size room. Security at night.
That it was on the beach and the room was spacious. The bed was very uncomfortable.
Convenience of beach access; comfortable beds, space-efficient rooms even thogh limited. A little "rinky-dink" in feel -- old-fashioned and a bit odd, but okay all the way around. A little noisy due to the rooms being so close together and the sidewalk being so narrow.
Very good value.Basic but clean Bedsprings in poor shape.
The property was clean & bright. Right on the beach! The pool was beautiful and there were lots of other things to do onsite, as well.
good location right on beach, small but clean pool, nice room all basic requirment met well lack of bar/food/cafe, this would be nice.
beach attendants very helpful and accommodating, especially Earnie Extra charges in the last few years such as parking and newspapers placed at doors in the morning.
Luxurious and relaxing
I was local and my AC went out so I stayed at this hotel. Very nice and comfortable. A little expensive for a Tuesday!
Directly on a beautiful beach. Easy to find. Everything you need is in the resort.
Great value. Beautiful sunset. Too far from downtown
Great staff- helpful, cheerful, funny, kind. way to soft beds and pillows- food prices are very high for what you pay for high priced room, and would have been nice receiving free coffee when ordering meals.
Beach front, lots of stuff going on in general area, convenient etc. There were some fees that brought the nightly price from what I thought was a real bargain, right up to lots of other places in the area that I usually stay. I'm sure the fees were disclosed somewhere when I booked the room online but it raised the room price quite a bit compared to the $93 per night (plus fees) I thought I was paying. It seemed a tad sneaky to me and I wouldn't stay here again because of this.
Rooms and bathrooms were small. No fan in bathroom-hot. Bartenders were rude.
The Bilmar is very clean and right on the beach. The room looked over the water. It was chilly outside the nights I was there and enjoyed sitting by a fire pit that they had. Had dinner at Sloppy Joes. Good food at a good price. Nothing
We booked a room with a balcony and the view of the ocean was great. The room was very clean, and to our surprise had a pretty nice kitchenette. The beach was not crowded at all, which was very nice. The resort fee included daily free kayak or paddle board rental, which we took advantage of everyday with no wait. It also included free beach chairs, but we brought our own so we could have saved on room in the car had we known beforehand. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend The Bilmar to anyone looking to enjoying Treasure Island. The only negative thing about our stay was that our room was not ready for us to check in until about 4:40, and check in was at 4:00. Not a big deal since we were able to hang out by the pool while we waited.
Easy walk to variety of restaurants and shops. Very short drive to other destinations.
clean, and very hospitable staff very nice shampoo and conditioner and soap! Location on beach is very convienent the cost - one night 197.00 way too expensive
Cheerful rom with great views A little noisy
Beach front. lots of restaurants nearby, large beach and good walking trail. good location but the facilities are old but good. The front desk was very subtle, beware of stingrays and surprise charges. Paid $134.40 plus $15 and got the worst room in the resort, dark, dingy room with no view whatsoever, they had mentioned that it had a pool view, not thru the window but thru the door peephole. Walls on both sides plus small windows. The facilities were good, the room was very clean but found couple of live roaches. The rooms are noisy. On checkout they charged me a resort fee of $15 plus tax for parking and amenities, which they never mentioned at booking, check-in or in the fine print. They say complimentary parking but they get us somehow or the other. I had 4 days off and was so glad that I stayed only one day, they are several great places nearby. I saved some money there. The beach was great and had lot of fun. The weather was excellent. The food at the restaurant was ok, I had to get the bill corrected three time – watch out like a hawk. Money greedy people. Not worth the money.
We have stayed at Bilmar many times and always have a great visit. The rooms are spotless, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast at Bazzie's Beach Cafe are excellent. Walk from your room to the immense Treasure Island beach, or just a few minutes' drive to a dozen other T.I. attractions. They should install pneumatic wheels on the hotel laundry and housekeeping trolleys -- they make an incredible amount of noise going past your room on the brick corridors, and always seem to be busiest when we are trying to nap!
The view was spectacular. It was fun having the use of free bicycles, ocean kayaks and paddle boards. The food options were great. They didn't clean our room everyday. One day all they did was make the beds. No trash was taken out and they didn't vacuum the floor. With two toddlers in diapers the trash needed to be emptied every day and the floor vacuumed.
We booked our room and we're charged but when we arrived there were no rooms available and I still have not received my refund...which did put us on a bind that was 500 dollars that we didn't have for the rest of our trip...very sissappoints
The view of the gulf was excellent. The staff was friendly. The room's tile floor and carpet were not clean. Mildew growth was evident in all corners of the bathroom. Dishes and glassware had to be rinsed before use. Facility amenities description was misleading, no restaurant was on premises.
we really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beach
Even though the hotel was older it was very well maintained. Loved how the rooms face the ocean and have a nice kitchenette in them. The only thing they may want to update is have a breakfast bar. It could be located in one of the out door eating areas
The Location The Hotel is in a total state of decline. The sign out front is held together with straps and bungy cords to keep it from falling down. The Rooms are Dirty. The plumbing is poor. The heating and cooling is awful. Balconies are crumpling. Parking is bad.
We love this place! Great for a getaway!
Lovely facility, cheerful staff, sizeable rooms with well equipped kitchens, restaurants within walking distance Be sure to call well in advance same day if you're arriving after 10PM, or you won't get a key to your room. Continental breakfast was pretty minimal and not very health conscious. Have to pay additional fees for beachside furniture.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Location was superb! Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Beach was nice and clean; not too crowded. And afforded a great view of 4th of July fireworks up and down the beach. Huge roach in the tub when we first arrived. (Well, it is Florida.) But we got rid of it and never saw another.
Perfect beach, nice balcony No late check out accommodation, and a little pricey for deal.
Absolutely loved the location - being within leaking distance of many restaurants and shops as well as the 7/11 store. The beach was gorgeous and well kept. Loved our ocean view room. We had the perfect anniversary trip!! No
Great location for our purposes. .. very v lose to the VA Hospital. On the beach and closr proximity yo nigj tlife and restaurants.
Great location, friendly welcome, clean and convenient hotel. Pool is amazing and had lots of chairs, tables and even hammocks. Right on the beach and extras for the beach and pool provided. Definitely recommend this hotel!
It's location. Beach access. Close to local hot spots. Staff never responded to our after hours call @1045pm when we couldn't get into our room. In fact they didn't call to see if we ever made it into our room. So after hours of searching and driving we located our keys and got in the room at 2am.
Room was very clean and confortable. Excellent location. TV too small. Not enough pressure in shower head.
Very convenient, close to shops and restaurants. Right on the beach. The room brings everything but a stove. Very nice and clean.
Location was great beach was beautiful Parking was an issue my husband handicapped we had to park up street and walk back I mentioned this to office and they stated they had overflow parking! This should of been told to us during check in and also they let public park in spots
If you jumped off the balcony you would land on the beach The vents on the air conditioner were covered in mold
Let me start by saying how misleading the previous reviews about this place are; for sure the fake "excellent place" reviews were written by the owners of this awful motel. This is for sure NOT the #1 hotel in Treasure Island!!! We have been coming to this area for a decade and staying at great places such as the Marriott and Sunset Vistas. Unfortunately we decided to try something new. What a mistake! About the owners: the lady who owns this place is extremely rude on top of her huge language barrier; we couldn't understand half of what she said. She is bossy and does not respect costumers' concerns and complaints at all (as written by another costumer before on a real review). We felt very unwelcome for bringing children. They also charged extra for our children!!! Why is not safe for children? the floor tiles are very slippery in the entire unit. My kids felt badly and my daughter got injured twice. You need to keep drying the floor with towels all the time. The rooms are not child proof! Another big problem is the location. There is a long walk to the beach, which is NOT simply across the street. You have to walk all way to the pedestrian crossing area in order to safely get to the beach through the heavy traffic. It took us about 10-15 min to walk to the beach with all the umbrella/ stroller/ chairs etc!!! Rooms: we stayed at a 2-bed and the AC does not cool down the second/porch addition bedroom. It gets super cold in one room and super hot in the other room. There are no curtains and some of the blindes are broken. That means you will be up early with the sunrise! Service: they only provide few kitchen utensils. Towels only once for your whole stay. We try to find the owners at the office but no one to be found when we needed help. They don't provide cleaning products but expect you to leave the rooms clean or you may be charged!! Check out is at 10 AM!!!! No option for extended hours?!? What?!? We will certainly never come back to this place! There are better and more affordable options of hotels oceanfront that welcome costumers in a much better way and provide safety and comfort for families.
We liked having a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms as well as easy beach access just across the street. Also walked to restaurants on John's Pass about 5 min. New bed linens need to be supplied, the ones that it had are really old. Although everything was very clean.
Ended up staying at their new Bella Vista location, which would have been more expensive to reserve alone, so we got some additional value. Both rooms seemed excellent despite this major setback. Overall ended on a positive note and enjoyed the stay. Staff decided it was a great idea to initially give us a one bedroom room despite literally having on receipt a reservation for a two-bedroom room. They suggested to either bear a one-person room until tommorrow, when a double would open up, or go to their Bella Vista condos. Had to relocate to a different location further away from the beach, no pool. Housekeeping was not informed of our occupation and came in mistakenly on the first day we stayed.
Spotlessly clean, nice design, and I had a nice little kitchen. Unfortunate that the booking didn't tell me that the check-in was at a different hotel a couple blocks away, so I was dropped by my taxi and then saw the sign on the door saying go to the other location to check in.
Fantastic location, steps away from the beach. Extremely low water pressure, almost impossible to shower. Drab room, smelled like bleach the entire time I was there. Had two twin beds in my room, not very comfortable. You get what you pay for!
