The location and the garden of the hotel is very good, and the hotel as base for trips to Corinth, Mykene etc is very good Some noise from the road passing by the hotel
The breakfast had a big variety of food for all the tastes. The room was quite big. Not the cleanest hotel I've seen (just to use an euphemism...). The impression is really that they don't put too much attention to the dirt. Or maybe the moquette was too old? Needs some refurbishment.
None of the above apply - We did not like anything about this old dump - it was an awful old hotel. We had to request another room - the first one reeked of cigarette smoke. It was adequate for one night's accommodation but was really an outmoded old unfortunate place to stay. Please see above - I would not recmmend this awful old heap of a hotel to anyone.
Flexible, unconventional ways, good help concerning directions and possibilities nearby. Rich breakfast. No direct access to beach :-)
Nice pool, but hotel rather shabby
very ellegant mosquitos
it looks as though the hotel was once, a long time ago, a nice hotel, the location on the Corinth Canal is nice. The room was shabby and not at all clean, I put a towel in the shower to avoid standing in the bath. the carpet was old and dirty, as well as the curtains, and wall paper, I tried not to touch anything in the room. the sheets appeared clean
Reception area, lounge etc. were very pleasant. Hotel fine for a one-night stay. The carpets throughout the bedroom corridors were badly stained and quite grotty. This left a bad impression every time we left our room to walk down to the lift. The bedroom itself we found to be quite dated.
Wedding party very loud in the pool area that evening - too close to the road for a leisure break ... ok if you want something on the road.
Thye room and the food The hotel was mainly French and most people there were French with only French and Greek signs and literature and only french entertainment. The pool area lacked a bar and the floor around the pool was pebbledashed with very difficult to walk on small stones.
Near Athens and close to nice and clean beaches (lake Vouliagmeni etc). The room was spacious for a couple and with a double bed. The personnel is a group of professionals, very polite and did everything we asked (we even had ice cubes from the reception in 3 after midnight) . Sea and other sports equipment are free (although the french guy from fram team that manages them treated us Greeks like lesser people).Free wifi all around the hotel (and rooms) is a plus.Overall we had a nice staying but next time we would stay in another hotel as there are plenty in the same area The sea in front of the hotel is one of the most polluted spots in Greece. When we visited the piscine we felt our eyes and skin burning. The breakfast and dinner was ok but not good enough for a 4 stars hotel and the variety was poor.
I loved the view from the room. It is a bit old
Very good location, accommodation and atmosphere. Minor issue. Hotel uses internal 'credit card' system rather than cash for bar etc. Use not properly explained by staff (re 5 euro deposit on card)leading to confusion over amount available to spend.
The staff was very helpful in giving directions to various attractions in the area. The beach and the pool were nice, even in the middle of October. Perhaps a sign by the road would be good. The trees block the name on the building as you drive by.
Clean room, good service, absolutely fantastic breakfast, easy to find. The hotel was a little tired and run down, but I expected that and it wasnt that bad as the value for money made up for this fact.
Everything. The staff were helpful, the hotel clean, the food was excellent.
Good food and pleasant surroundings.
Outstanding value for money. Our rate of € 80 per night for half-board of this quality in such a situation would be hard to match. Non-French speakers should be aware that this is a French hotel. All but a handful of the two or three hundred guests were French, and little Enlish was evident.
the food was lovely!! the hotel needs a renovation .
The food and drink was very reasonably priced The weather was aweful, so limited us to what we could do.
Maria and her daughter were very welcoming. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and the kitchenette was very useful as we had our breakfasts on our balcony.
Superbly run and I had a brilliant stay.
Peacefulness; location; unintrusive; owner's welcome and care on arrival;
The staff were very friendly. The proximity to the beach was good (only 5 minutes walk to furthest/nicest part of the beach). The views from our rooms were brilliant. The breakfast was good. The pool was just right for a dip but not very big.
The hotel was close to Skala Port, and the cleaning ladies were very kind and sweet. Cleaner swimming pool, better breakfast, improve bathroom facilities (had problems with shower and the toilet), the owner of hotel must improve her people skills as she was very rude and indeferent, and the hotel does not have a complaint box as much as I could notice.
I liked everything with the hotel. We were there on our homeymoon, got the honeymoon suit with an amacing view to the sea. Staff was extreamly friendly and helpfull and the food in the hotel resturant was the best we eat our entire trip.
Family run, Friendly and very Helpful
The room (a superior one in the extension) had a little terrace, which was nice to sit out on after a day on the beach. The staff were friendly and attentive. It is just a few minutes walk to the beach and there are a number of good restaurants within walking distance. Although the room had a kitchenette, there was almost no crockery or utensils - the room I was in had only one glass and no cups or plates! I suspect that broken or stolen items are just not replaced. Things were different when I stayed here last year. Then there was a really nice buffet breakfast, which has now been replaced by a set breakfast that is identical every day. I suspect the hotel is not doing the business it once was, which is sad.
Maria the owner was very helpful with information and responsive over email in advance of the visit (1) the rooms were only cleaned every other day this is unusual and not what you expect from a hotel (2) additional charge was made eg for butter at breakfast which were excessive to say the least given that prices for food already seemed high
Lovely hotel, good food and sweets, excelent wiew, friendly family that runs the hotel. A place you want to come back to.
Everything about the room was ok, everything working, clean and tidy. Nothing wrong with the hotel, the island was not worth visiting though...
Everything was good, the staff was great really kind and happy persons. Clean rooms ,clean pool. hmm like a recomendation..include breakfast in rate, as other hotels do.
Run by a very nice and friendly family. i would reccomend it to evrybody.
staff very nice, good situation quiet and lovely island
Convenient access to Hydrofoil; quiet location; sea views; good walking close by.
very nice hotel, nice staff, calm and relaxing, friendly.good value for the money. perfect view over the sea. nice pool and poolbar
The island of Agistri was beautiful, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, there was a lot to do - it was cheap and the weather was fantastic.
i like the location room cleaning
The swimming pool and all the exterior The bathroom
Fairly easy to find and not too far from the airport if your flight arrives during the afternoon. A good stop over for a first night in Greece when visiting the Peloponnese. I stayed there twice now, at 2 years interval. I am a satisfied customer.
The personal was very kind. Internet works. Personal speaks all languages. Hotel is clean and quiet. The beach is extended and the sea is excellent. Quite far (>10 km ?) but still well visible from your balcony (sea side), a large oil rafinery is permanently at work (small tankers coming). Not really the kind of sigh-seing you would like. Next time I would ask to have a room not giving to that side (it exists).
Gardens, layout, access to beach the pool was too deep
Excellent pool, great views across the Argo-Saronic Gulf, really good location for exploring the Pelopenese. Good breakfast and buffet meals. Difficult to find due to defaced signage on the approach roads
Very kind and friendly staff. If the wind is not blowing from north-east, it is beautiful outside. Lovely view at the bay from almost any room. Very good benefit for your money.
Hotel was very nicely situated within its own grounds with lovely sea views and a excellent swimming pool. Staff were friendly and helpful bedroom was clean. Lack of snacks durting the day food was bland and lacked creativity, bar closed at 12 midnight with no system in place to get a drink after that.Unclear if beach towels available and lack of general information on hotel facilities and services
Location is supereb Food provided evening meal could be better based upon german taste
Very easy to find due to the signposts. Friendliness of the staff. Geographic position and nice view. I wouldn't call it a four star. For a three star it would be good.
the rate was very good , with buffet breakfast and diner, the view was great. The AC didn't work properly , not cool enough even if it was end of September. We told the staff, they proposed to change us in a different room we didn't want it.
see, pool, panorama very old furniture, air conditioner was also very old and the room was warm
Εξαιρετικη τοποθεσία, άριστο προσωπικό, ομορφο περιβάλλον, θα το επισκεφτούμε ξανά. Μεγαλύτερη ποικιλία στο πρωινό.
The room was large and airy. There was a nice balcony, small refrigerator and kitchenette. The cafe behind the hotel was lovely for breakfast. We did not opt for the continental breakfast but with a cappuccino we were served the most delicious slice of homemade orange cake. The restaurant in front, too was lovely and friendly. This hotel was beside a string of tavernas and across from the beach. It was easy to get to, too. By slow ferry, it is a 2 minute walk. From the Flying Dolphns it is about 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by the local bus.
everything perfect, excellent location, clean, quiet, very kind staff. Overall, very satisfied.
This is a real gem of a hotel, newly updated to a great standard with lovely rooms, great facilities and so close to the beach. From the moment we arrived we felt that nothing was too much trouble for the owners. The bathroom fittings were of good quality for Greece and we chose a ground floor room with a large patio at the side of the hotel whihc meant it was quiet but were offered a room overlooking the sea to the front on the first floor. The beach is literally less than a minutes walk from the hotel and there is a good selection of bars and restaurants really close. We think this was a great hotel and represents good value for money. The owners are really friendly without being in your face and we had a really good time here.
Friendly staff, good location
The garden, the bar and the owners small details in the toilets
The terrace and it was close to the beach Toilet and Kichenette were too dirty. Too hard to find. I already read the reviews talking about this, but didn't think it would be so hard. We had to ask people and still took us nearly an hour to find the place within Epidauros
We liked the beautiful garden, the terrace before the apartment. The quiet neighbourhoud. We went for a swim in the sea every morning, it was only a short distance. The staff was very friendly and they helped us with printing our lost tickets for the plane.
Studios are on the ground floor in a nice garden full of orange trees close to the beach. The owner and staff are very friendly.
A beautiful Grove. Helpfull staff. Close to the sea. Perfect for large families with children.
Close to the beach(200meters). Clean room with garden. Good equipped kitchen. Bar on site. No breakfast...
Our hostess exceeded expectations even bringing us fresh oranges to squeeze for juice. Difficult finding it.
The location of the hotel and the peacefull neighbourghood, the friendly and helpful staff and the fair price
The apartments are located just 50 meters from the beach which is easy to access. The front rooms on the ground floor are well suited for small children; there is a patio leading to a closed private garden where children can play. The room inside temperature was pleasant although the hot August summer in Greece. I recommend this hotel to anybody with small children wanting to spend some days in Epidavrus/Greece. Bicycles are available for free for those that want to explore the area. Some parts of the kitchen and in the bath need to be replaced or restored.
Excellent hotel with brilliant view. Very high personal service. Clean hotel with excellent food. Very helpfull staff.
Hotel is at the beach, wich is wery nice and has their own umbrelas and sunbeds. Also near the vilige and veary quet. We had a nice stay.
Close to the beach, near to the port of Skala village (3min by foot) not enough staff, very small rooms, we had to change a room because of reservation's system problems
Beautiful location Room a bit small
Good location, friendly and honest staff. Lovely island. According to the Greece tourism dept it's actually a one star hotel not three.
Good location Room was described as a two bedroomed apartment and it wasn't. We originally booked for 14 nights and checked out after one. There was only one air conditioning despite us asking about there being one in each 'bedroom'. The second bedroom was a lounge come kitchen come bedroom (sofa bed with no bedding provided until we asked) with no air con. The stove did not work. There was no hot water. It was noisy with the hotel next door playing loud music until the early hours.
The sea view The owner was neither efficient nor friendly. The room was poorly furbished and the bathroom poorly finished.
Friendly and helpful staff Toilet flush not working for 3 days.one light not working.room cleaned 0nce during week.had to ask for toilet paper.one light poor conection so flickered.no kettle or cups.not enough sockets so it was tv or fridge.no glass in toilet.
It was exactly as I had hoped from the information available on the web: relaxed, welcoming, clean and high standards in all areas. The perfect place to unwind and feel comfortable. Quiet yet friendly. Good sized very well maintained pool, idyllic roof top restaurant, spacious rooms with good sized bathrooms and plenty hot water (a treat in Greece!)
Very nice family run hotel - warm people that know how to welcome tourists the balcony and the flowers also added to the pleasant stay hot water not available all the time
The friendly and welcoming atmosphere thanks to helpful and cheerful staff members, who made our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food was also of a very high quality and had a wide range of variety, while also catering for a vegetian diet.
Family atmosphere, helpful staff and excellent Greek cuisine.
Friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent food and good facilities. Location good for beach and shops. Swimming pool - no shallow end for children
nice, good location, service
The helpfulness and friendliness of the owner and his family. The cleanliness of the room. Not applicable
Andreas and his family are so welcoming. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. A great base for exploring the islands. We hope to return next year.
Andreas and all of his family were very friendly.
The view from the rooftop restaurant was beautiful. Also the pool was lovely and always accessible no matter what time of day! The girl named Maria at the hotel always made you feel welcome with a smiling face and is an asset to the place!
It is the best hotel i have ever been too. Friendly staff, amazing food, stunning views a perfect home from home but with great weather. NO
Location, nature, sea view, hospitality and kindness of the owners and the staff, cuisine, stylish and simple design of the hotel, perfect place for refined sensuous enjoyment Cockroaches which appeared in our room for few days in the beginning of our stay (fortunately they disappeared later on and we did not have anymore trouble with it), absence of the price list for food and beverages in the restaurant&bar, though prices were quite reasonable
Our stay at the Agistri club was excellent on all counts the staff were all very freindly and helpful, the food was fantastic, I'm a veggie and had a great meal every night, my partner isn't veggie and was also more than pleased with his meals. The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. Having to leave!
I never felt so much welcome in any hotel like here. very cosy, beautiful place, wonderful people.
great chance to relax, balcony with the view at the sea, attitude to the guests, wonderful atmosphere, very clean and charming nothing - everything was great!
The hotel is very charming and well situated (5mn if you walk to the centre of Agistri), in the trees and just by the sea; the room was very pleasent, nice, confortable, with a small balcony and view on the sea. It seems that most of the the staff is smiling and warm-hearted with you when he is willing to, the prices of the dishes and drinks are a little bit exagerated compared to others places in Agistri; the bill is not enough detailed and you must trust in the boss (15% reduction never applied as agreed)...
Very welcoming. Hotel had a fantastic view and great feel to it.
A charming experience, staying there made for a wonderful and relaxing trip. We adored the staff and the hotel itself.
Fantastic, great people, great food. A totally relaxing holiday.
