Food in restaurant was poor quality. Soups made of powder.
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The room was enormous and the staff very friendly. It was very cheap too for my family. Breakfast too was good. No curtains in the room and it was a bit noisy.
The beds in the room were good. The kitchen smell hanging in all corridors was disgusting. Although the breakfast was OK, the replenishment of the food and drinks was bad. Everytime waiting for new food and drinks (or eating cold eggs laying on a plate for a long time).
We had a large family room. It was the biggest room we have evr stayed in.
Friendly staff. Clean and well serviced rooms. Well located and easy to find. Possibility to have dinner in hotel restaurant. Too soft pillows. Dining room rather hot (no AC).
Great location in a charming town.
Very friendly staff and good food
Lovely hotel in a pleasant location; excellent breakfast and evening meal. The staff could have been a little more welcoming on arrival and in the evening restaurant, although the breakfast staff were first rate.
Motorcycle friendly- let us use their garage to store bikes overnight. Good central location for Bitburg, a beautiful German town. Hotel also a pub/restaurant so very convenient for these facilities.
The hotel was in the middle of the centre between all the shops. The room and the bathroom were very clean, large and new renovated and the staff were very friendly. It was a very nice stay for a very good price. We would stay there again.
The Hotel is very clean with a newly fitted shower room, we like Bitburg as its centrally located for the Mosel ,Trier and Luxembourg,You are right in the midst of the High Street but with no noise as the Double Glazing is good, The Beer is the best in the world and the Breakfast was all you needed,I also recomend the Restaurant but book up as its very popular with the locals. I will be staying again.
Friendly welcome, good food and beer, ideal location for visiting Bitburg.
Nothing Having asked for a ground floor room when we booked in January, the only room available was on the second floor. No consideration was given to disabled guests. There was no restaurant available for us.
Nice welcome, clean room, at the backside of the hotel it was very quiet during the night
Excellent location, Friendly Staff and very good breakfasat selection
friendliness of staff, unique atmosphere
Familiarity of the staff - Privacy - Close to the highway //
Great hotel, we had a private wing! Since we requested two non-smoking rooms we had in a different building two rooms with an own entrance. Really friendly personnel! The breakfast was superb; everything we requested was brought to the table. Good food and fresh as well. The hotel is in the centre town so you can choose to eat in the hotel or in a restaurant at the other site of the street, which is the main street of Bitburg. Which gives you a lot of opportunities! Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious.
Staff was very friendly, room was very nice and comfortable. Great location to the shopping area.
Convenient location. Pleasant staff Extremely poor quality of Internet service. It did not work. Stairs are steep and had to negotiate when carrying your luggage up to room.
Very pleasant and helpful English-speaking personnel, spacious and comfortable room, good food, safe parking
Good location in the village Owner has messed up booking and did not have our room for 3 available so we had to split up the family between 2 smaller rooms. They were apologetic, but it was a pity that this happened. Also a late arrival at 8:45 pm made dinner timing difficult and we waited some time for service. Breakfast was better.
large and clean family-room, friendly staff, excellent cuisine
Nice and friendly hotel-staff. The rooms are large, comfortable and romantic decorated. Restaurant is good. Hotel is situated in a nice old village-centre in a quiet environment. Surely an hotel to go to for a week(end) of rest and relaxation A little bit annoying is the fact that the hotel has no lift. Therefore you (with luggage) have to cross a corridor and climb 3 stairs before you reach the 3rd floor.
Freindly host. Good price. Checkin an late night entry.
the village in which it is located is charming!
Hotel owners were just wonderful and spoke English which was so helpful. Having drinks on the patio in the backyard was idyllic. Dinner was very good. (Included) breakfast buffet was good, including excellent coffee. The town of Dudeldorf is a very charming place -- we adored it. The town belltower is close to the hotel and the bells ring for a while every morning starting at 7 am. We didn't mind (we were getting up at 7 anyway), but it is good to be aware of this. There was some jet noise from the somewhat nearby air base, but it was not that bad (we enjoy plane spotting, so we did not mind at all). The hair dryers were low-powered.
Very friendly owners Beautiful location Very peaceful I liked everything about it!
the warm welcome and efficient staff the make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.... this being our second trip we had another excellent two day stay lovely food and super surroundings. no
Very good value for money. Restaurants within easy walking distance. The accommodation is very clean and tidy but the external stairwells are scuffy. Some people may not like the presence of school parties, however German children are very well behaved. The hot water taps have to be run for 15 min. before it gets warm.
Easy to find. Accommodation adequate Bit far out of town. Noisy youngsters during the day - unsurprising but settled down at night.
Only the night noise created by youth & drinking sponsors
Nice staff, nice place. Not in the vicinity of the city, but was no problem for me.
it is a nice and quiet place the pillow and duvet could have bee better
- nice location - bedlinen was not clean
Evening Meal was excellent. Room huge
