Great view from the balcony, good typical food, friendly staff...
The central position was excellent.
The lady at reception was the most helpful person we have come across so far in Spain - could not ask for more!!! no
clean very nice little hotel with balcony overlooking the cobblestone street easy walk to explore the town with places to eat close by
Decoration of room with traditional textiles. Good selections at breakfast. No information was provided to reach inside of castle wall and the hotel so we got stressed and wasted for a hour! I can now tell you have to park outside the wall and walk around street to find the hotel with your luggages. Very strong smell (perfume?) in the room, bathroom, corridor...everywhere. Presumably because of the old building, we could not sleep well by the noise from other rooms. Some staff at restaurant were not friendly and food was bad. Meat was no taste and chewy, custard pudding tasted agar, which we've never had during in Spain.
Staff at reception helpful, the room was spacious and it was very quiet.
Fantastic location within the old city walls. Comfortable room with good bathroom and balcony overlooking the main street. Hotel parking was far from the hotel, difficult to access and expensive (we could have parked for free on the street much closer to the hotel). Hotel restaurant was lacking in atmosphere, we were the only diners for most of the evening. We felt that the room rate was rather high for midweek, low season, when there were very few guests in the hotel.
The staff were really helpful and friendly.
Central location ideal for all sites, shops, restaurants and bars.Exceptionally good breakfast, courteous and helpful staff.
Hotel in a great location, staff friendly and understanding The distance from the hotel garage to the hotel
Location is simply stunning - the hotel is just inside the ancient medieval city walls, overlooking the valley and surrounding mountains and countryside. Rooms are clean, bright, modern and comfortable. We had a 4th floor room facing the city walls which gave us superb views, but be aware there are rooms which face the other way at the back of the hotel which probably don't have a view. Breakfast at €6.00 per person was of excellent quality, buffet style, good variety and plentiful. Staff speak very little English but we did not have any problems using our phrase book, and they are very friendly. Nothing!
Hotel lovely situated in historic town. Has bar visited by locals -- very nice atmosphere. Limited parking area.
The location was excellent - easy parking and close to the centre of this small, steep, town. Some pleasant, inexpensive local restaurants and bars, some expensive ones too! Spectacu;ar views from the walls. Some obvious water damage to the ceiling which made it unsightly, but not too off-putting.
It was clean.could have done with a pillow, there was just a hard bolster.food was simple but good. staff were a bit thin on the ground and not too friendly.
Location at the entrance to Morella is good with parking readily available. There is a local supermarket nearby, which proved to be handy... (see below). When we checked in on 10.13.2010 for our one-night stay we were told by the desk attendant about the time of breakfast and its price. He also recommended local restaurants as there would be no dinner service. So the next morning, it was an extremely unfortunate experience for (a hungry) us to learn from his female colleague, that no breakfast was being served at all....
Good views. A good location for parking the car. Lots of steps to the main street but that is Morella! Not much information available but we found the tourist office.
Excellent location and good value for money. Balcony and views. Small, uncomfortable beds. Very basic room.
For the price we paid this was a good hotel, and we did not expect anything more. Great location if you want to play golf there, otherwise it is a bit remote (but at the same time very quiet); The bathroom could use an update.
Friendly staff. Cheap price for an appartment type room. Panoramica is a huge complex with harldly anyone around (either you'll love it or you'll find it a bit spooky). The sofa-bed is really unfortable to sleep. Rooms can be noisy (if you have any neighbours). Rooms could use a little facelift.
Location, size of the apartments, service at golf club
We liked the fact that it was actually an apartment, so we had plenty of room to move about, and the use of a kitchen for meals & snacks. It had a very restful location, overlooking the golf course, and was only about 10 minutes drive from the Autovia so very convenient on a long journey.
Personnell was friendly.
Clean and modern good facilities I feel electric kettle and hair dryer required
quiet and peaceful someone driving into my car in the hotel car park.
Large double bed, good outlook over swimming pool from kitchen/sitting room, V.quiet. Shower head fixing over bath did not match the head so no hands free shower.
Very helpful hotel staff and well run Hotel. Not very well equipped for self catering. No aircon for Brits in Spain in August!
Close to the golf club. Relatively big apartement and well equiped with all needed for 3-5 day staying. Relatively far (~10km) from the city and see border.
First class in every way.
The warm and generous hospitality of the host and the fabulous meals, breakfast as well as dinner, were outstanding. We were impressed by the personal interest and trip advice given by the host when asked. Nothing was too much trouble for them. As we were the only guests at the time, we were made to feel like family, they were so welcoming. The room was also very comfortable. A delightful place to stay. Nothing.
This is a total package. Boutique hotel, pretty village, friendly locals, friendly and out going owners, exceptional food, practical and inciteful tourism advice and great value for money. We dined-in each night (little choice in a small village) and experienced an ever changing menu of gourmet delights. A 3 day highlight amongst 10 weeks of spanish treasures.
The home made food was excellent and the owner very friendly. Could not have wished for a better service. No complains this hotel is a little gem.
The isolated village location lets you get away from the hustle & bustle of the cities & coastal areas. Getting there by car takes you through ever changing landscapes & vistas. The hotel is situated on the small & attractive village plaza & clearly the local authorities have invested much money in the village in recent years. The hosts are wonderful; informative & ever helpful (& they speak good English). The breakfast that Clara prepared was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The front rooms on the second floor have great little balconies & catch a lot of sun. Highly recommend this hotel, whether you are passing or as a destination in itself. Well worth a trip up to the local Hermitage above the village. Nothing, nada. Just be aware that there are no shops etc in this small village - just one small bar next to the hotel.
