Pros: The owners The location
Pros: Owners are wonderful. The location is very quiet. You can use kayaks and explore around the lake. Rooms have view over the lake, which is breathtaking. Room was clean and comfortable. Nona and Marco recommended few other places in a vicinity worth visiting.
Pros: The view from the rooms is sooo beautiful! We took the kajak in the evening and stayed on the lake until the sunset. The owner (a really friendly couple) gave us a map and explained how and where to go. We felt really welcome, the room was really clean. There were a lot of free things in the room. For example shampoo, gel, some softdrinks, coffee, tea.... To rent the Kajaks is also for free. The Lady was taking so much care about us that she even gave us repellent for our kajak tour. Because in the evening there could be some mosquitos. It was amazing!!! Big <3 for that.
Cons: Maybe in the beginning the word Motel sounds for European ear kind of cheap and just enough for a night. (maybe because of the American films) BUT it's really not like that!!!! This place is like a resort. Quiet, on a little half island, clean, right at a lake and we were sad that we just stayed 1 night because we had to continue our journey...
Pros: We so enjoyed our stay at the little motel. The owners are so charming, helpful and unobtrusive. The setting is idyllic with the lake and mountains just outside the sliding glass doors. The room was spotless. We also took advantage of the lake to cool off in after cycling. They stored our bikes over night in a locked garage. We included a meal add-on they have negotiated at the restaurant in town. For $32 we got supper and breakfast at the (only) restaurant within a 10 min walk. There is even a tiny liquor store just 5 mins walk from the motel and we enjoyed a glass of wine while relaxing outside with a wonderful view of the lake. Our weekend cycling trip really felt like a real vacation and I can't recommend this motel enough!
Pros: Pssst... Wanna hear a secret? Motel Our Bleu is simply amazing! (But don't tell anyone!). Marco and Nona went beyond the call of duty to accommodate us in every way: from allowing us to arrive early and leave 6 people's luggage and coolers in their office while we went off biking the P'tit Train du Nord for the day, to readying the barbecue and picnic table and supplying a Tupperware full of everything we needed to prepare our food, barbecue and eat. Water AND wine glasses in the room as well as tea and Keurig coffeemaker. I believe that every room has a view and the views are stunning - some brave ones in our group even went for a swim off the dock where we also spent the later part of the evening lying on our backs, staring at the stars. Of special note: my husband broke the axle on his back wheel and we telephoned Nona who organized Marco to drive to meet us on the trail with his truck, bringing us one of their bike rentals and taking away the broken bike - all this with a smile and wonderful sense of humour. What a lovely couple they are.
Cons: Sorry, have to leave this one blank!
Pros: Close by the road, easy to access, lovely staff, great view on the lake, very peaceful place to stay
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: It felt very comfortable. The lake was beautiful for swimming and kayaking. The owners were exceptionally welcoming and helpful.
Pros: No breakfast. Location is beautiful - right on the beautiful Lac Saguay. Nona and Marco are extremely hospitable, very kind and they keep the Motel very clean. Ils parlent anglais, français, néerlandais et l`italien. Very interesting and very engaging hosts :) There is a peddling boat and 2 kayaks that you can use pretty much anytime. The Motel is surrounded by forests and it is well built. We loved swimming in the lake as it`s excellent on a hot summer day and there were basically no motor boats on the lake (occasionally 1 on the weekend for like 10 minutes). It is your private lake on weekdays. You can easily swim across to an uninhabited island on the other side. Very pure, very clean water in this lake. It`s also a wonderful place to read and recreate and there are wicks you can burn to chase away the mosquitoes early in the year (we went in early June and stayed for five days). If you need food, there is Dodi`s Casse-Croute which also sells Quebec strawberries and blueberries in season, the Resto Bar Saguay which is open almost all hours, and a depanneur with locally baked bread and cookies made of molasses with SAQ quality wine as it is a SAQ. You can bring food as well since the Motel has a fridge and a barbeque :) We cycled here from Montreal on the Petit Train du Nord and there is a place to store bicycles.
Cons: The weather was perfect for swimming so we didn`t get any hiking in - but there is always next time!
Cons: Very unwelcoming with my family. Even when I we didn’t fight the fees at all. It took you for ever to put an extra bed and we riding need more than that. Very harsh with me and the kids
Pros: Beautiful property. Great being on a lake. We swam and kayaked. Listened to loons as we fell asleep. Our room was very clean and spacious. Marco and Nonna were very friendly and welcoming. We got the meal package that included supper and breakfast. Short walk to restaurant. We stayed here while biking P'tit train du Nord. Marco locked our bikes up at night in his garage. I highly recommend this place.

Pros: The owners Michel & Diane are the most curtious prople we ever met. They made us feel like we were their persone guest. Our most relaxrd vacation ever.
Pros: The owners were such lovely people and incredibly warm and helpful. The pool and setting was perfect after a long day of biking. The owners' beer was a highlight!
Cons: That we couldn't stay longer!
Pros: Diane was particularly helpful and friendly and made a fantastic breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay there. The pool was lovely and just what was called for after a long bike ride.
Cons: We were on a bicycle trip and there was nothing nearby. However, we did find a great restaurant in town on the advice of the proprietors, Diane and Michel, who were very helpful.
Pros: The food was perfect. The staff very friendly and really accomodating. They even have lands to go skiing or just walking in the woods. If there is one place to go back to, we'd chose this one again.
Cons: The only thing that comes ro mind is the shower's water pressure that's a bit lousy.
Pros: Michele and diane were exceptionally accommodating and genuine. Went above and beyond. Whole heartedly recommend.

Pros: Upon arrival we were welcomed and the hospitality was superb. Breakfast was great. We had everything we needed and more. Personal attention was great.
Pros: Lac Saguay has very few artificial lights, so this was a great place to watch the Perseids meteor shower. Even with the streetlights, there were more stars here than even a half hour south of here at Riviere Rouge. The 2nd floor balcony is nice, too. And having a safe dry place to leave my bike was great.
Pros: Beautiful old home. Guest room tastefully decorated.
Pros: Has a charm that no modern motel can capture. We were warmly welcomed and had the auberge to ourselves. This place was the ideal spot for us as we just wanted a bit of time out from visiting lots of people. Enjoyed the nearby walking tracks and just as well we got some exercise as the breakfast is fantastic.
Pros: Excellent location to see fall colours. Mountains with in an hours drive. Breakfast was fabulous. Spacious, clean washroom. Cozy seating area. Lots of parking space. Stone fireplace in the front yard. Extremely friendly host. Excellent value for the money you pay.

Pros: Spacious room
Pros: This place was a great find. It was clean, quiet and the staff was great. They only have six rooms, so your not staying in a resort, but the rooms are clean and well decorated. It's also located directly on the Rail Trail, which was a big bonus for us! The continental breakfast was also very appreciated!
Pros: Near bike path
Cons: Not many restaurants
Pros: Charming hotel ,close to bicycle pad and grocery store. There are 2 restaurants close by, walking distance and a grocery store. We had supper at restaurant at Golf Course. Meal was exceptional. Breakfast was continental, coffee in big thermos not to bad. It was enough for us. Clean dinning room. Staff very friendly and accommodating any needs. We had a room facing back, quiet. Main road is fairly busy and could be noisy. Very well secured, locked door.

Cons: A little run down but repairs in the works.
Pros: Friendly owner and very accommodating Excellent breakfast Superb grounds and view Right on le petit train du nord cycling path
Pros: We loved the water view from our room and having easy access to the lake. Also loved the layout and design of decking and docks. Gave the Auberge an estate type feel which was utterly relaxing. Also what a treat to be so close to the cycling trail.

Pros: They changed our room to one without carpeting.
Cons: Carpet in room. My grand daughter has allergies. Breakfast? Nothing to brag about. Toast or cereal thats it.
Pros: Good people
Cons: Restaurant no good and very cold
Pros: The location is right on the snowmobile trail.
Cons: The beds were old and the shower is way too small its the size of the shower in a travel trailer.
Pros: This location did accommodate my dog easily.
Cons: The extra bed was very unstable and the bedding didn't fit well. The washroom was very old and cold. The free breakfast was not open until after 8:am.
Pros: The bath in our unit was huge! Very fun. The room was clean.
Cons: Very dated, old uncomfortable bed, breakfast was terrible (paper plates and plastic utensils. Boxed cereal, toast and eggs only. Very dated place with minimal efforts made.
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Eggs, toast, orange juice. Owners were very friendly.
Cons: Rooms a bit dated, dark and off the beaten path. Getting to the hotel from the Petit du Nord was a bit harrowing as it meant crossing the road to get to the shoulder with logging trucks going 70+ mph.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful owners and staff...the lady doing the cleaning was super friendly and very nice to talk with and say hello to at all times!
Cons: The only two issues I had: First....could not easily find the property as their signage was very faded and the word 'GODARD' was almost impossible to see! Second...this may sound strange but there was a guy (staff/family??) who was lying on the couch in the bar area my first time through, and then sleeping there the next time???
