Pros: My room was super clean and well tended too. The bed had lovely soft linens, and the room had a ceiling fan and Jacuzzi. There was wifi, TV, microwave, and fridge. The room had natural cross ventilation, as well.
The Inn Keepers were welcoming and kind in offering dining tips within an easy stroll.
It was a great stay and I look forward to visiting again.

Cons: a bit expensive.
The Homestead Inn offers an airport shuttle (available 24 hours) for USD 70 per person one-way. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: I found the room well maintained, quiet and comfortable. Staff friendly. Clean room, good set of cable TV stations, bedding nice and room well painted.
Cons: A/C has an auto fan setting, but never really turns down or shuts off. They have "green" program for bathroom towels, but the cleaning staff doesn't actually follow it. LOL. No Hangers in closet. No shampoo the first day, only body wash. Cord for blow is very short. Tough to use. None of this ruined my stay. Just little details to note.
Boxwood Lodge is a great choice for a stay in Blowing Rock. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking.
Pros: The Inn is near but not too close to downtown Blowing Rock. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. It was quiet and nice family atmosphere, just what we were looking for as a relaxing weekend.
Cons: This is out of their control but the road construction traffic is single lane and heavy at times. I'm sure they will be glad when it is finished.
Enjoy your visit to Blowing Rock with a stay at Cliff Dwellers Inn. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast available daily. All rooms offer balconies or patios, flat-screen TVs, and refrigerators.
Pros: We arrived WAY after check-in time and Jacob was awesome enough to stay on the property for almost two hours after his shift ended to make sure we checked in ok. Fun atmosphere in the grounds and room.
Cons: Our air conditioner didn't work correctly the first night, making for the wrong kind of hot and sweaty. The pillows intended for sleeping were more akin to planks of wood wrapped in a fine linen weave, which prompted a trip to wal mart for the second night's pillows. Air worked fantastically the second night.

Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and mountain biking. Cons: Nothing! We have already booked our next stay!
Cons: rooms smell like wet dog
Pros: The staff and food at the Bob Timberlake Restaurant were excellent!
Cons: We did not have air conditioning in in our condo and sweated through our first 24 hours. We spent time we had planned for visiting in Blowing Rock standing in the lobby while the air condition problem was addressed. Then we spent more precious time packing up and moving to new accomadations in the resort.....probably should have received a free stay!
Pros: Comfy beds, magnificent staff, restaurant with a view onsite! Loved going swimming and sitting the Jacuzzi downstairs. Definitely a great place to visit during their off-season if you like having the place to yourself.
Cons: Drains were slow, hot water took about 30 minutes to warm up (on the third floor), construction was happening during my stay.
When visiting Blowing Rock, Chetola Resort at Blowing Rock is a great choice to consider. Guests can visit the spa to indulge in hot stone massages, detox wraps, or body wraps, and Timberlakes serves breakfast and dinner. There's an indoor pool and a bar/lounge, and rooms at this romantic resort offer flat-screen TVs and DVD players.
Pros: An excellent location. Right on Blue Ridge Pkwy basically and the most receptive and kind people working there. highly recommend it.
Pros: Great value!! Clean, big room with regular hotel amenities. Free parking, WiFi, and breakfast was an added bonus. Only complaint is that the rooms have screen doors that slam and woke us up a few times. I'd stay again. Can't beat the location in Blowing Rock!
Pros: The property was well maintained and very clean. The decor was pleasing and someone had obviously taken the time to decorate with good taste.
The staff was very helpful, even if they didn't have the answer to a question, they tried to attain it.
There were lots of towels!
The comforter on the bed was wonderful and the bed itself was great.
Cons: This is an "old style" motel. You park outside your door. Though well maintained and attractive, it is hard to escape the tiny bathroom. There is a small glass shelf above the bathroom sink. With 2 people in the room it is difficult to fit toothbrushes and shaving gear on the shelf let alone such things as makeup.
Someone took great pains to make the room attractive, but the lovely big throw pillows had no place to go after they came off the bed. This could be a great property if the owner spent a night in one of the rooms to see how logistically it is difficult.
At some point it would be great if the HVC wall unit was replaced with something a little less intrusive.

Cons: OK. What I didnt like. Therrs always something. Took about 5 minutes for the water to get hot the first shower of Friday night. After that no problems. Be patient it works.
Pros: Inn is located within walking distance of Main Street in Blowing Rock. Town has several wonderful small shops and very nice restaurants. Inn is very comfortable and was an excellent value.
Cons: Room bathroom could use a refresh.

Cons: Mattress could use replacing. Breakfast items were mostly gone by 9 am and not replaced.
Pros: Keurig in room
Back deck with divider
Right off the main road
We plan on booking here again!
Cons: There was a orange soda bottle sitting ON the fridge when we came in. Also, salty footprints on the floor & a leak in the sink plumbing.
Pros: The room was very clean and cute. Packed a lot into a small space
Cons: The previous people had taken the keys with them and my key only locked one of the door locks. Since it is motel style it was not too secure. Plus no one pointed out to me that the front window was open (with just a screen the glass window was not pulled) so my stuff was left in an unlocked room.
