Cons: Hard to say - only comment would be an elevator to the second floor as we travelled with some luggage, however, I trust that the building design won’t allow it.

Pros: Super cozy hotel near the autobahn but in a nice area with good possibilities for dinner. Clean and comfortable room and lovely personnel. We recommend this hotel. Had a delicious aspargus dinner in the garten at the nearby Gasthaus Dehne.

Pros: The frontage of the hotel was welcoming and it only got better after entering. Every part of the hotel had a homely feel to it and the staff were helpful. The honesty bar was well stocked and the offer of a first drink on the house was a nice idea on behalf of the owners. After a good night's sleep it was great to be welcomed by a good quality all you can eat continental style breakfast.
Cons: I didn't really dislike anything. That said, not being familiar with area I couldn't see many reasons for tourists to be in the area (I could be wrong) but I was there for a specific evening event and was grateful for the presence of such a charming hotel.

Pros: The goulash soup in the restaurant was the best I've tasted for years. The room was clean and modern with comfortable beds and a really nice bathroom. Location perfect and parking in garage.
Cons: The only thing missing at the breakfast was filter coffee (although, I did not ask for it) and a bigger variety of vegetables as sandwich toppings in addition to cheese and ham. Even so the breakfast was great.

Pros: Very nice hotel at a reasonable rate. Fancy lighting and thermostat controls in the room - took a bit to figure out but everything worked well. Lots of outlets both near the bed and a the desk. Very good Spanish restaurant right across the street.
Cons: Breakfast was only provided as room service. It was a lovely breakfast but meant that there was a lot of food there that i couldn't eat or wouldn't have selected.

Cons: The air con wasn't set in the room and considering it was a heatwave during my stay that would have helped. It also didn't allow you to manually set it, instead it kept returning to it's pre-set standard and was very loud when running. Small thing but it did make a difference.

Pros: I can not comment on any of the food as I did not have any...however, i did arrive at 13:30 and was able to check in a bit early. the premises are super safe as you have to ring the doorbell to get into the front door if you are checking in. The lady working the front desk spoke great English, showed me to my room, explained how the TV worked and the WiFi process. The wifi was great, i was able to connect my laptop, phone and iPad with no problems.
Cons: The blanket was a bit small. Also, the floors are creaky and the walls are super thin. Thankfully, I am a heavy sleeper but while laying in bed watching Netflix, I was able to hear the other guests coming up the stairs and speaking at a normal tone.

Pros: We used this hotel as an overnight stay on a a drive from Denmark to Italy. We booked the large family room and it worked very well. The staff were friendly, room had everything you would expect, and breakfast was very good. For a hotel in the centre of Hannover it is a real plus that there is a secure parking garage directly below the hotel with lifts into the reception.

Pros: The hotel was clean and had a modern interior. The staff were generally helpful with lending us an ironing board and calling up taxis.
Cons: A little bit far from the train station. Hotel breakfast prices in Germany (including at Star Inn) are on the steep side. It is 16.50 euro per person at Star Inn. We just went to the bakery around the corner and spent 5 euro for two people. That is probably me just being sued to UK hotels including breakfast in the accomodation price.

Pros: The hotel is within a few minutes walk to the fairground where we attended a concert. The staff were most helpful and friendly, especially Kathrin Lehnert in the breakfast room who went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and valued. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious if a little expensive.
Cons: Three are no eating or shopping facilities near this property so it is not suitable for visitors who do not want to attend events at the Messe. Otherwise we cannot fault this hotel.

Pros: The location was ideal, as I was there for a concert. Parking was ok, although rather expensive and got almost the last space. Breakfast was ok, relatively quick in refilling despite the huge crowd. Did have to queue all the time. Room was ok too.
Cons: I have never experienced such a chaos at check in. We waited 1,5 hours!!! We only arrived at 17.00, so normally all room should have been ready and cleaned. But this seemed not to be the case at all, why the wait. Only because we insisted on having a room straight away, they gave us one, but we had to wait for the cleaning to be finished... We missed the beginning of the concert! They paid our 19€ parking the following day, but only because we raised the issue again - actually the lady first tried to accuse the guests... horrific.

Cons: Very bad experience at this hotel. A thief entered in the breakfast room without any control from the hotel staff and stole my wife's bag which was on the chair while we were having breakfast in the morning. The thief could also escape uncontrolled by the personel of the hotel and my wife did not recover her bag. Pros: The staff was very polite. The people on the reception was very professional. The hotel is very clean and very comfortable. The rooms are on a small side, but the arrangement is very clever and basically the small size is not a problem. When you have a birthday for example they give you free drinks, which is a small thing but till is very nice gesture.
Cons: During our stay the fire alarm switch on in 06:30 for 2 or 3 minutes and then around 06:40 at the morning which was very frustrating. Still such staff happens.

Pros: The location is awesome. Beautifully located at the Maschsee. Still in walking distance to the city center. Breakfast in particular is vast with a huge selection and you can eat until 1pm which is unique as it leaves you ample time to relax in bed after a long night without rushing for breakfast or even missing it. Bring your jogging stuff and run around the lake.
Cons: Front desks staff ( the respective team at my arrival) has a poor attitude and understanding of guests situation when they arrive early morning from in particular very long journeys such as overseas flights. Check in time is at 3pm which is ok albeit too late, but the way they bluntly tell you to come back at 3pm without at least discussing/reviewing the individual situation in a friendly and constructive way and weighing the options at hand is below Marriott standards. They need to still go a long way. Arrogant and ignorant. Breakfast staff compensated for the poor treatment at the front desk. Big thank you to them!

Pros: I stay for 2 nights in Jan 2019. The staff are mostly pleasant. Though I was travelling alone, my room (including bathroom) was decently sized; easily big enough for 2 adults + luggage. There is a nice restaurant right next to the hotel's entrance (this is not part of the hotel).
Cons: I asked for a small fan (like a table fan) at the time of booking. Instead, I got a small/portable heater fan which could only blow warm/hot air ! The liquid soap next to the wash basin said 'Hair & body gel'. Hence, I used the soap bar. There is no proper restaurant; the 'restaurant like' area is used only for breakfast (I don't know about lunch). The breakfast is very minimal for the price - just basics laid out on a small counter. For dinner, they only offer pre-made frozen pizzas that they can heat up. The bar counter is just an extension of the reception counter - quite minimal. Also, I saw them 'washing' the used glasses by dipping them quickly in a sink full of soap water and another quick dip in a sink full of non-soapy water, and that's it. They did not use flowing water to wash them. Personally, this put me off a bit. My room came with a 'free' bottle of sparking water (i.e. with gas). I asked them if I could exchange this with some regular water (i.e. still water). They said no, the free one is only sparkling, if I wanted still water, then I'd have to pay for it. Lastly, this may be an odd one, but the elevator was EXTREMELY brightly lit that when you get into it, it may give you headache !

Cons: The staff were not particularly welcoming. As foreign visitors from across the channel on a work visit we were made to feel a bit alienated. Maybe it was the language barrier but a smile with the service from the the evening and morning staff could have easily softened that feeling. Apart from that all was perfect with the facilities. The restaurant adjacent was amazing not sure is part of the hotel. The bar staff were smiles all round and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Recommend the Rib eye steak!!!

Cons: It is not a hotel but a retirement home that rents the guest rooms as hotel rooms. It is from 25 to 30 minites driving from the center of Hannover. (GPS app necessary to find it)
