The hotel was very clean and modern and was very close to both beach and shopping area. The room we stayed in for the first two nights was very noisy but when we asked to be changed got a very nice room on tenth floor. The beds were very very uncomfortable....it was like lyning on a board. I also thought it was very commercial and not geared to holiday makers.
I liked the location on the beachfront. The room service tray had ants on it.
Very good position. The beach is at 20m and is excelent. During low tide there are almost no waves even if the wind is strong. Additionaly, you are IN the city, close to an intercity bus station, restaturants, shops, etc. Room equipment in most part aged. Very hard mattress. Toilet separate from the bathroom (and sink).
the location of the hotel is fantastic, it sits right on the beach and is near to all the shops, and bus routes do not think it is quite a 5* hotel, a very good 3 or 4
The location was very good, being next to the beach, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and the main shopping area of Las Palmas. The room was small for a double room and only had one single-person armchair. It seemed to be more of a single room with a double bed. The shower was really a bath with a shower attachment. The staff were generally friendly but we had ask several times before the sticking bathroom door in the room was fixed. Internet connection was expensive costing over 69 Euros for 1 week.
Nice surroundings - central location
The location couldn't be better, although it is very confusing getting from the bus station to the hotel. Staff members meant well, but provided inaccurate information about getting around the area. Room service was excellent, however.
the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. at first I did not go for the modern minimalist furniture and decoration, but I got used to it and liked it. On one aspect the Hotel beats many others, its view over the Canteras beach is splendid. A good chance to do some much needed exerciese for me. The location of the hotel is also excellent, with all kinds of colourful Spanish type small and big restaurants, a big supermarket and tourist shops very close. For some peculiar reason the sheet of my bed had an unpleasant-looking stain in the middle, though everything else in the room was clean. But when I asked the staff to change it they were very apologetic and changed it. Also, the toilet ran out of water one night! It was o.k. in the morning. These are compartively small things compared to the pluses.
The location of the hotel on the beach and its proximity to the numerous restaurants. The lack of atmosphere especially in the reception and bar areas
location and halpfull stuff
Reception staff were very attentive and helpful.
Excellent location, the room was big, clean and very comfortable. There is no swimming pool.
Good situation on the beach No facilities, i.e. no pool, no gym etc. Many rooms have no sea view
We love the location and the front rooms at the upper floors. Staff always very good your website said it was full when we wanted, even though we had no trouble booking there via OPODO website.
I liked everything. Excellent stay
Very deacent and quiet location 1 min from the beach
cleanliness, comfort, and friendly staff Well, the green stained wood took some getting used to, but otherwise, excellent
This hotel is well above an average 3-star Spanish hotel. Staff were very helpful. My room was big and with a huge balcony/terrace with partial view on the ocean. Although there are so many restaurants and bars all around, noise is no problem. Location is ideal, some 50 metres from where the beach starts. Windsurfers will just have to walk north some 10 minutes to reach a point where waves are higher.
It is very clean and has a great location. People very nice and helpful. Good value for money! Could be a bit noisy hearing other people talking in other rooms, but otherwise in a quiet location
The price was fair enough. Location was OK but not the best for young people (better more south).
location can't complain for this money: 24 Euro/night...
Excellent location. Don`t work wifi in room.Very noisy.
it's situated only 2 min walk to the playa de las canteras (the best city beach in las palmas). quiet steer. quite far for walking from the old city center. anyway there is a conventient bus transport. helpful staff. the left my suitcase the whole day in their luggage room for free. small but very nice single room + individual bathroom with WC and hot shower a little overpriced for me. i payed 27eur per night for a single room. a friend of mine booked a single room in a similar hostel in las palmas for 18eur per night. no breakfast includes or breakfast room in the hostel
plesant staff. value for money and the location was ideal as it met my needs
The best I liked when stayed at Hotel Blanca Paloma was the hotel staff. Really nice people, friendly and helpfuly.
The street is very noise. Also the city is very festive.
