Except the location, nothing is good for this hotel. Faulty shower, dirty & dingy rooms
Price was cheap, location was good
Mold in bathroom, door latch plate missing hardware, and security latch broken. Wifi inoperable 5 of 7 days, ice machine inoperable 5 of 7 days. Telephone in room didn't work. Tv remote missing.
Only pro is that it's close to the strip
It's old and smells funny. The place looks like it was built with the lowest quality materials. The tv is super old and the wifi doesn't work in the room. The ac doesn't work all that well. Walls are paper thin. This place sux But I guess you get what you pay for.
Rates were high considering decor, ambience and facilities
Plenty of free parking & near the strip.
Very Small Room No Iron or Coffee Maker AC kept room cool not cold in 100+ degree weather Old Dirty Carpet Old TV with only a few channels that function Worn down fixtures and do not disturb signs that wouldn't stay on the door.
Cleanliness and on the strip
A/C was to old, loud, and working properly, to hot in room to enjoy stay
close to everything
no frigs. in rooms
The staff was friendly and accommodating. It's withing walking distance of the strip, without paying the price. The room was what you would expect for the price (outdated TV, limited amenities, etc) . AC kept our room reasonably cool. Pool to help with the outrageous heat.
Bugs. Upon entering the room, a couple of bugs scattered. Found a few in the bathroom. They weren't threatening or dangerous, just gross, even found one in the bed. Some sketchy people hang out around this area, but there is a security guard on site. Not bad, but not really a place for a young family.
Less than a block from the strip, fantastic location if you plan to be touristy. Beds were clean, good parking, no weird smells :)
Very basic amenities, wish they had conditioner for the shower and had the ac on before we got there. It was as hot as it was outside in the room before we turned the ac on- ac worked decently fast though
I liked everything aside from the ants in my pizza.
I didn't like how I leave pizza in a box for breakfast the morning after and I wake up, open the box and about a thousand small ants are eating my delicious pizza. They came from the bottom of the door frame for the bathroom. I understand that they couldn't help much that ants are in the building, but I'm mad that they didn't care to throw a couple bucks my way for the pizza. I every cleaned up the whole ant mess!
Very close to Las Vegas stril and a nice pool Good airco
Room relatively small Outdated tv
Very friendly staff and incredibly good location! Also very cheap if you want to be near the strip but not spend strip money. I lived my stay here, and I will be back anytime I want to do Vegas on a budget.
No refrigerator or microwave.
It was close to the airport and the staff was friendly. Coffee was top-notch.
AC didn't work properly and banged all night long. Outdated decor, but ok for just a quick layover
They should have provided a small oven and small refrigerator and little bit more spacious rooms.
The hotel had a lot of bugs in the bed and I did not feel comfortable staying there for health reasons so I checked out early and canceled the rest of my time there. I was trying to save money by staying there but it was not worth it at all.
Clean room. Good location for the business work I was there for. I liked it much better than the Super 8 or Motel 6 in the same general area (been to both). Staff is REALLY friendly for a hotel/motel in this class. 10 minute walk off the strip, it was excellent value for the service received... as long as you understand it's not a luxury resort. I'll use it again! Either biz or pleasure, it beats what the strip hotels charge for a weekend. My ENTIRE week's stay cost LESS than what the MGM chain wanted for Saturday night ALONE! BTY, $28/nite on Kayak was my rate
TV remote was broken....big deal. Walking to the strip, you are going to pass a few bums (hey, it's Vegas!). When my kids were very young, like stroller age, I wouldn't of been happy. Teens & up, no problem.
if you have never stayed at a ABVI it is a no fills budget chain. If you are looking for an inexpensive bed to sleep on, this is your place. The bed was fine, room clean, and check in simple. The pool was nice, but the gate locks were not all functional. You can bring your room towels to the pool, but no separate ones. The mattress and towels are tired but not unusable. The quality is what I would expect for $50 a night.
The beds could be softer , but I didn't expect different.
The location of this cheap hotel is great, it's walking distance from the strip.
The room we got was not clean. I found someone else's hair in the linen of the bed, which grossed me out! I booked a room with a queen bed and arrived to find a room with a full size bed. The hotel felt very unsafe, even with a security guard on the property. Strangers knocked on our door at night- we never opened it!
Great location for the price, helpful staff
Not a hotel for a family with kids, people standing outside of their door looked to me as if people lived there.
Staff was nice and very quick. The bed was comfortable and decent.
I tried to shower and there was no hot water. I waited over 5 minutes and the cold water was the only thing that was available. It's not the cleanest place I've stayed in so it'd be nice if they did a little more upkeep of the rooms. The TV was from like the 90's, felt like a twilight zone. If they renovated the place, I'd come back, but otherwise, I would not recommend it to anyone else.
Very clean and nice rooms. Good shower. And close to everything you'll want to go to near the strip.
Very poor management, and unqualified people working there. Was called back to office two separate times on threat of having to check out , only to find it was there mistake. Next hotel don't get my cell number.
Heater went out, room was filthy, I'd like a refund
So cheap and clean and simple
Maybe the larger Casinos Hotels have more security to them.
This property is very close to the Las Vegas Boulevard ( aka The strip), takes only a few minutes to the MGM Grand and the NY NY. Good value for money, I paid 22 $US per night (midweek). Staff exceptionally friendly and professional. Very good team. Good air conditioning, quite large room and free wifi provided by ibahn.com There a few reviews that say the WiFi would be too slow - get a mini travel router that will boost the signal and you will be fine. The WiFi works even for Skype calls and YouTube!
The Hotel is located right next to a liquor store and an area where quite a few homeless people hang out. I have nothing against people who live under God's own roof but being asked for change every time you walk to the strip is not ideal. Very few tiles in the bathroom area have small hair fractures/cracks. TV is a tube model but with the strip nearby who wants to stay inside?! Warning: cigarette smoke from people smoking outside will get into your room.
Noisy air conditioner. Filter needs cleaning. Room to small and not a good bathroom layout. No hooks or bars for towels. Smelled bad. Run down. Beds uncomfortable. Next to liquor store. Fights and arguments in parking lot. Felt unsafe. Next time I will stay at a resort for same price and be happy to pay resort fees
Without a doubt, you get what your pay for. Room was clean, efficient, and met all needs for a quick trip to Vegas. Not perfect, but surely could not complain at all and would go back in a heartbeat. Great location without the casino stress.
Only a couple issues, hot water seemed to be a continuous problems and beds were okay at best. You could feel the springs in the mattress, but truthfully after long hours in Vegas that was the least of my worries.
Good location, good wi-fi, plenty of hot water.
Oh so noisy. The a/c unit was loud, but at least it drowned out the loiterers on the balcony, who were chatting the night away. if you can get through this, then you have a good value for the money.
The wi-fi didn't work
Professional courteous and clean
Internet was down for most of the stay
Free coffee in the morning and the pool was decent.
There were bed bugs after they had put us in a smoking only room for which we had requested online for non smoking. Not even blow dryers in the rooms. Not even worth the inexpensive price at all.
Im an artist (darylbegaye.wordpress.com), was in town for an art show. The Inn didn't have my reservation on file, staff worked with me and Kayak to get it straightened out and gave me a room with 2 beds instead of one. Room was clean and on the good side of the motel.
The shower, water temperature was inconsistent, would change from cold to hot, hot to cold.
2 of the 3 rooms were comfortable.
One of the three rooms had a bad odor coming from the drain. Room 169
Walking distance from to the strip
1. On the website, it states " free wireless high-speed Internet access", you're better off using your own data plan, wi-fi is down all the time. 2. On the second day, our bed wasn't properly made. 2 of the bed runners were left on top of the t.v. closet. The fuzzy blanket were exposed which will make you itch when it touches your skin. 3. Running hot water is the main problem, you'll have to call maintenance to reset the boiler before you shower, and while you shower, the hot water will remain running for a minute and cold for a long time.
Location close to where I needed to be in the morning.
They advertise free wireless internet (and that something I always look for when I book any place anywhere) but there was no internet available in the room. I called the management and they simply told me that the internet was optional, was not included and she did hang up the phone on me when I was complaining about that (that was the evening manager that identified herself as Melissa). At this you can add that the room is poor, cleanliness is questionable, hot water is spotty (second floor), and the tv (about 40 years old) was missing the remote and we had to wait 40 minutes and call 2 times before someone would bring one to us. It is not worth the price you are paying unless there is nothing else available in Vegas.
Bed, Room size, Smelling room, TV etc ect.. lot more.
Excellent front desk staff. Very clean room.
Two beds made the room crowded.
Location, location, location!
This place is all about proximity to the Strip. It will do if you're simply looking for a place to pass out. Still, it was subpar. Do yourself a favor and at least check on rates at the Howard Johnson next door. After a four night stay, I got a room at the HoJo for one night that was MUCH nicer for the same price.
Dirty bed, I found a hair on my bed when I entered the room. Staff was not friendly. The hot water is hard to adjust in bath room.
