We stayed in our room most of the time, but went to pool a couple of times. The family next door was super loud but we made it work by ignoring the noise. The room is a 1 bedroom with 1 sofa bed but the family next door to us must have had like 7 people stay in that 1 room.
It was good
Bed was comfortable.
Within walking distance of Equestrian facility located at South Point Hotel and Casino right next door.
Dirty. Walked into our suite and floors had not been vacuumed. The bedroom floor had dustbunnies, threads from clothing and food like crumbs on the floor. The bathroom had someone’s hairband behind the door, dust, and brown specks on the floor. The living room area rug had not been vacuumed and after moving an armchair towards the window, underneath revealed a crushed cookie or biscuit. When I notified the front desk, she did not look at the pictures, just looked at me with a dead pan face and asked if I wanted to move rooms or get it vacuumed. No apologies of any kind. Maid came to the room and acted annoyed. I thanked her multiple times and no apologies offered. She had a hard time finding an outlet to plug the vacuum in and finally used the one in the bathroom. Maybe the inconvenience is why the suite doesn’t get cleaned properly. The bed was old and lumpy and squeaked every time I moved on it. I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel at all and I paid over $200 per night. The carpets in the elevators and at entrance to the doors was also dirty and looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a week. Three stars is way too high of a rating when I selected so many unhappy faces options, so it’s truly not a three star hotel. At least from my experience it isn’t.
Distance from the strip
Grandview At Las Vegas sits six miles off of the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. This is an all-suite property that is directly across the street from the South Point Casino.
All of the suites have full kitchens that are stocked with the dishes guests would need to make full-on meals. Staying at this hotel is more like staying in an apartment. Guests have refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, microwaves, stove tops, ovens, and full-size dining tables in their suites.
The Grandview At Las Vegas is great for families and those without. The hotel features a pool with a waterfall, a hot tub, and plenty of space for lounging outside. There is a fully equipped fitness center, a spa, a game room, BBQ areas, and free parking at all times.
Guests can order room service, get something from the snack bar, have a gourmet coffee from the coffee shop, or prepare meals for themselves. Across the street at the South Point Casino there are several restaurants including a buffet, as well as places to order takeout from.
The Grandview puts guests steps from a bowling alley, miniature golf, a movie theater, and live shows that are offered at South Point. A quick ride in a car gets visitors to the strip or out to the outskirts of town for a nice desert hike. Other nearby attractions are The Lion Habitat Ranch, Callaway Golf Center, Town Square Las Vegas, and Bali Hai Golf Club.
The Grandview At Las Vegas puts visitors close to the action of the strip without making them stay there all of the time. It’s a nice relaxing environment to go “home” to when the day is done.
