Welcome to the Super 8 in Las Vegas, New Mexico near Montezuma Castle, ideally located to enjoy the unique vistas of the local natural beauty. Montezuma Castle and the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge are just five miles from this Las Vegas Super 8. Fort Union National Monument and Pecos National Monument are both less than 30 miles from the hotel. This is a wonderful destination to explore and experience historic Las Vegas and the Wild West as it really was. Visitors will wake up to views of the majestic mountains and wide-open plains. Cons (-) The walls and ceiling were so thin I could hear everything from my neighbors on top and besides me, effectively prohibiting any decent length of sleep.

Cons (-) This hotel has the basics, and they make an effort to do them as well as they can. Where they really shine is with their graciousness and customer service- even putting out a pot of the host’s family recipe green chile soup. It’s a few frills place, but defintely good value.

Pros (+) The hotel has a rustic appearance but it is top notch with clean rooms, high speed internet, free breakfast and the best and most friendle and helpful staff. It is a joy to stay there.
