Pros: Great breakfast including freshly fried frittata. Hotel is on the Camino route with some beautiful and invigorating cliff-top walks. Grounds of the hotel are magnificent with beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
Pros: Great value and beautiful facility! It was very clean. There was few other options in this area when we were hiking the Camino. The employee, Maria, provided us with a platter of food options as we weren’t close to any restaurants, etc. Additionally, our clothes were washed for a small charge. We would highly recommend this hotel!
Pros: It’s so beautiful and comfortable. A true country home. Sylvia was wonderful and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed.
Pros: The hotel is very, very nice, with a cool atmosphere and vintage flair: 2 large fireplace rooms, old, but cool furniture. And the terrace in our room was dreamlike, with a very nice view over villages and ocean. The hotel has a pool and garden. You can make very cool photos on the territory of the hotel. The breakfast was sufficient. So in general I highly recommend stay at this hotel.
Cons: We found a lot of hairs in the bathroom (on the floor and even walls) - I think the room needs some bigger cleaning.
Pros: Lovely room and two lounges. Good views. Peaceful and quiet.
Pros: Very comfortable lounge areas with good facilities. The junior suite was comfortable with excellent views but the beds were not comfortable.Breakfast was a good standard but the same each day.The staff were very helpful.

Cons: More choice at breakfast.
Pros: The hotel had a wonderful remote feeling to it with mountain and ocean views while only being 2 km. from the town of Colunga. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms well-decorated, and very clean. Soda, water, wine, etc., are available in the lobby and are charged on an honor system - very convenient. The breakfast had at least one home-cooked item (usually a tortilla) and had quite a lot of food & variety.
Cons: The hotel staff was rude. For example, on one occasion we asked for directions to Picos de Europa park and they told us to go to the roundabout and look for the signs (there are no signs until you're in the park).
Pros: the room was comfortable & the hotel had a magnificent lounge

Pros: The receptionist who checked me in was warm and friendly, making good recommendations for meals and the laundromat. The receptionist during check out was very kind to point me to a place for a very early breakfast.
Pros: staff were just so friendly and kind. we did washing and the lady came with an airer without been asked. Our breakfast was superb, fresh eggs and food to take away for our camino walk. She gave us an apartment with so much space.
Pros: The location is great -right on the Camino. The staff is very friendly.
Cons: I had a bad experience -that I guess can happen anywhere. I had dinner at the property and 5 hours later, I started vomiting and developing fever. It was either the mushroom or the shrimp croquettes... It ruined 3 days on my Camino that I could not walk at all and had to bus :-(. The staff was very friendly and the only surprise I had is that I was still charged for the meal and the camomille tea they offered me the next morning since I could not stomach anything. Of course I had those items, it was just a thought.

It is situated in very peaceful surroundings and we managed to great a great sleep uninterrupted. We had a walk to the beach which was a little tricky to navigate but it was a pleasant experience in rural Spain. The bathroom was modern and spacious. There was a view of the countryside with horses from out window and in the distance, some sort of wild mammal could be seen entering the forrest. Fascinating!
Cons: I couldn't really complain about much. Maybe it is more of slight on myself and my girlfriend as we don't speak Spanish, but no one seemed to have any English. Still, we managed to get past that as the staff tried to communicate as best they could.

Amazing and complete breakfast with blueberries homemade jam, ham, teas, coffee... You are quite close to beautiful and charming villages as Tazones, Ribadesella... Do not miss El Babú!!
Pros: Hotel Babu was a lovely, stylish small and quiet hotel with very welcoming and accommodating staff. The family rooms were two large interconnecting rooms with very comfortable beds and black out blinds. The owner was very kind and went to extra lengths to organise an evening meal for us. The breakfast was very good also. This is a great part of Asturias with so much to do in both the coast and the mountains and Hotel Babu makes a great base.
Pros: Location. Stylish design.
Pros: Beds are amazing- environment quiet and a delight to rest - interior is beautiful Dîner was perfect and we felt well attended despite only one person running the show. A lovely time!
Cons: Breakfast served too late we paid for nothing as we had to go early (8 am) and it was served from 9. Very disappointed as I asked if I would be charged and was told yes. It never happened to me in 20 years of travelling the world. Fixtures in the bathroom are cheap and broken. Hot water takes forever to run.
