10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, view from our window. Angela was a very welcoming hostess and helped us organise boat tours to the islands. Loved it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful hotel, a great experience ... right from the booking confirmation until the hotel dropped us personally at the ferry port! The hotel is excellently located in Santa Marina, on the Punta Barone, and just a short walk from the central areas of the quaint town ... although as mentioned we were both fetched from and dropped at the ferry harbor by the owner. There is also a local bus stop very nearby, so getting around the island using the very reliable and on time bus service is easy too. Our room faced onto the beach, and had it’s own private balcony ... the hotel looks directly across the sea to both Panarea and Stromboli islands, so we had very pleasant evenings watching the sunset, and in the case of Stromboli, some volcanic activity. The room was large and comfortable, as was the bathroom. It was spotlessly clean, before our arrival, and also everyday... soaps, toiletries and clean towels. There were wi-fi repeaters all over the hotel, so internet and mail reception was excellent. The breakfast was included and was substantial, and of very good quality ... we really did not have to eat again until the evening - although of course we did as the town has many excellent restaurants, both on the bigger streets but also tucked away. The owners were always available and were both friendly and very helpful (maps and tourist suggestions on arrival). Overall, an excellent choice of hotel for us ... it made our experience of Salinà island a very special one.
Cons: We did not dislike anything, it was excellent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our host manager was so friendly and hospitable. We had a nice room with a nice view of the sea and could even see Stromboli erupting at night time.
Cons: A few steep steps to go up and down from our room.

Pros: This hotel is perfect in every way. It is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated and from the moment we arrived we were given the most wonderful holiday experience. Anita and her staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Silvana cooks the most delicious Italian meals and we ate at the hotel each night we were there. It is a beautiful hotel with the happiest, most friendly and helpful staff. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Pros: It’s been designed so so beautifully but also with comfort in mind making it the perfect chill out spot. The pool area is particularly idyllic! The staff as so lovely and welcoming - they are really attentive but in a very relaxed way. Honestly can’t fault the place!
Cons: Could you make the top terrace into a sunset drinks spot for hotel guests and others - nowhere else we found in Malfa had such a view of the sunset! (Also maybe serve rose by the glass - but we are quibbling!)

Pros: This nice B&B was above my expectations, it looks nice, especially the terrace where also the breakfast is served with delicious food and fresh-made drinks. The owners are very sweet and friendly, always there for any need or help. To mention also the presence of a very cool jacuzzi pool. The room with a patio, was very clean with a modern "eolian" design. I definitely recommend this place for a perfect stay in Salina island.
Cons: During my stay everything was fine, nothing to complain about. I found only the bed a bit too hard for me but this is only a personal feeling, not a criticism to the place.

Pros: Beautiful property with gorgeous spacious rooms. Wonderful service from Claudia and Jon Carlo. Would love to come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole place- rooms, terrace, breakfast area- are beautiful, bright and clean; no kitch, all comfy and good taste. So called „sweet breakfast” (usually I hate it) is one of the best I ever had - all fresh, tasty, crunchy, best quality. Vegetable tarte - true poetry! Best of all - The Hosts!!! Thank to their patience and understanding our trip was smooth and perfect. My ferries from Napoli were first cancelled than delayed, and still Dear Hosts kept in touch with me and have been so helpful. Thanks! They’ll give you all info you might need and make you feel trully welcomed. This property is far more than just B&B!!!

Pros: Clean, cozy, and a home away from home vibe! We wish we could stay longer. Lorenzo (owner) is a sincere and honest man who has very interesting stories and can share his knowledge about the history of the island. The property is in great condition and you can tell a lot of thought and love has been put into the maintenance of the place. Rooms are surprisingly large and have much light. Communal breakfast was a nice experience to meet other guests visiting and taste some local fruit and a nice selection of pastries. Oh and the cats are great company :) We can not recommend Turkiscu enough! Thank you Lorenzo for you great hospitality!

Pros: Stunning location, with beautiful sea views out to smoking Stromboli volcano! What a beautiful island; dramatic landscape! Enjoy a slow and relaxing pace sitting on the terrace, or take a hike between the old volcanic ridges to a lovely country church. Excellent restaurants, too. A Alera is the perfect place to enjoy it all! Very accommodating, welcoming hostesses. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable; simple. but high-quality furnishing and linens; pristinely clean.

Pros: A Hidden Gem , couldn't be missed! Lovely view, great location! Giuliana and Paula are very helpful and kind. Rooms are very comfy and clean. It is a boutique hotel with a beautiful garden opening in to a terrace overlooking sublime Stromboli Volcano and Monta Fossa della Felci. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved my stay , everyone was so helpful and the room was immaculate. I can’t wait to go back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A delightful small hotel - only six rooms, but forget the more expensive options. My standard room with a terrace was all I could wish for: quiet, exceedingly comfortable, spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and with a peaceful terrace on which to read. (There is an even larger communal terrace for lazing or sunbathing, that looks down on Malfa's small harbour and out over the sea.) Giuliana and her sister Paola are superb hosts, and especial credit should go to Giuliana - helpful and considerate with so many things - but praise should also go to the cleaning staff (so often overlooked), to the young assistant at breakfast time, and also to the friendly and exceptionally kind waitress at the family trattoria in Malfa. A truly excellent team. Located just downhill from the centre of lovely, sleepy Malfa, 'A Alera is undoubtedly one of the best places I've ever stayed in.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful views, cleanliness, good breakfasts and friendly helpful lovely owners
Cons: Not a thing

The hotel gardens are full of aromatic flowers and plants, and the infinity pool has just the right size and an incredible view over the sea and Stromboli.

The pool looks straight towards Stromboli and is a very popular place to be. The hotel offers breakfast and a light lunch, both are excellent. The gardens are just beautiful, with many plants from home (Australia). We loved this hotel, very comfortable and relaxing. Aperitivo and cocktails around the pool from 6pm, perfect! Pros: The property itself is stunning and in the perfect location - with a terrace overlooking the sea, where breakfast and evening aperitifs were served. The atmosphere of the place was chilled out - just like Salina island. We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was fantastic, the location was great and the staff were so helpful and pleasant.
Cons: We cannot fault this place - and we cannot wait to come back!

Pros: The view from the breakfast area is fantastic - looking out across the sea. The hotel is just a short walk from the port and backs onto the main street. Dario was a fantastic host. Salina was great to really slow down and relax at the end of a two week road trip around Sicily. I think we will have to explore the Aeolian Islands in more depth next and it would be great to come back here.
Cons: We did appear to have a small family of ants living in the bathroom but they kept themselves to themselves so we didn't bother complaining about such a small thing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, helpful staff, especially Chiara. Great room. Good breakfast. Well located. We loved Salina, and Malfa is a special place to stay.
Cons: Nothing at all, it was our favourite stay of the trip.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Malfa is a gorgeous, sleepy village and was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. We wish we had spent longer than 3 nights here. We arrived by bus from Santa Marina and walked to the B&B which was very accessible. The B&B is great with the perfect location in the town. It is close to a good shop, the beach, and the main square with restaurants and cafes etc. We stayed in the room called Stromboli with a terrace and it was just lovely. The view of the mountain and other islands is great but the sea view is quite obstructed by the opposite buildings - nonetheless a lovely view. The room was clean and modern style and exactly what we were looking for. The shower was excellent. Aircon very good. Staff very helpful. The whole stay was very relaxing and comfortable and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy Salina.
Cons: The wifi is very poor but we didn't really need it much anyway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My room was beautiful, clean, large with high, beamed ceilings, and the bathroom was spacious and sensibly laid out. The people were extremely friendly and accommodating. I had to catch the first bus back to the ferry and they made breakfast early for me. They also served the best cappuccino I’d had on this entire trip in Italy!
Cons: I didn’t mind being on the main road because there’s very very little traffic, but some people might like to be set away a bit. It’s a five minute walk to the bus station and a five minute walk in the other direction to a fantastic restaurant that the people recommended to me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff person was excellent. (Sorry I can’t think of her name.)

Pros: Some staff were outstanding and helpful with ideas & recommendations about what to do & where to eat ... etc! In particular-Miriam & Chiara were excellent!! So helpful and friendly. The food was great ( superb meals!)- and breakfast staff were very friendly! Ludovico’s dinner creations were fantastic! Really felt spoiled!!! Super housekeeping!! Often unseen and under appreciated.
Cons: The downside was that several staff left one with an impression that they were doing their job. Rattling conditions and options ( particularly at check-in). I also find it strange when such a high end establishment has concierge services available between 10-12 and then 4-7 ( or the like). We just came from another Sicilian establishment where all services were available to guests anytime! Just knowing we could call upon them was fantastic!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views, the location, the staff. This is a lovely place to come home to with beautiful gardens overlooking the sea. Great breakfast! We can’t wait to return. The beach below is simply perfect and everything you need is walking distance or you can hire a scooter and explore the island. We were there for 3 nights but could have easily spent a week. All the staff are lovely. Katerina gave us great tips for getting around and restaurants. On our final day we left early but we forgot to arrange a taxi. At 6am I went to reception only to find the gardener who went on to attempt to arrange us a taxi to no avail, so he drove us to the port himself. Bless! Thank you Salina for a wonderful vacay.

7.5 Good
Cons: Poor breakfast but nice views from the rooftop
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception was so helpful with planning a day for us in Salina If you’re not staying at this hotel you’re doing it wrong
Cons: Bathroom needs a little better ventilation but that’s Italy
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely boutique hotel with sensational views. The views from the breakfast area were fabulous. Antonella was lovely to deal with. We were in the front room with the balcony we loved everything about the place. Steve
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. Unfortunately we were at the wrong time of the year for the rooftop bar. It would be great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was fantastic. Impossible to do better and stay in Santa Marina Salina. Impossible to do better for the money. Absolutely perfect. The most wonderful people and the greatest location conceivable in Santa Marina Salina. The best view and a perfectly working air conditioner. American TV channels without paying extra. Highly, highly recommend
Cons: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great little hotel only a 5 or so minute walk from the ferry. We had room 21 which has a patio looking out to the sea and islands. Nicolette our host was very kind and helpful in our 3 day stay. Rooftop restaurant for breakfast and an evening cocktail was a beautiful feature with great views of Stromboli.

Pros: The staff were outstanding. They could not have done more to make us welcome. We were collected and transferred back to the ferry port with a glass of wine waiting on arrival at the hotel. Breakfast was superb and the food in the sister restaurant delicious. It was a winter visit so 3 nights was enough for a relaxing exploration of the island on the local buses (tickets bought on the bus). My only drawbacks were that the wash basin was in the walk-in wardrobe and we couldn't see the sea from our "superior" room. Ask for upstairs if this is important.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved it!!! Private beach, excellent breakfast, nice people, awesome room. lovely!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and quiet place, ideal for more active tourists (not for beach people, access to the sea is difficult), free transfer from/to Santa Marina, some of the food at breakfast was regional or homemade, rooms have air-condition and are very nice furnished.
Cons: Well, due to really not low price and to fact the hotel have 4*, i have to mention next things. a) Breakfast buffet is very poor and still same, absolutely missing vegetables. b) Free transfer from the boat is perfect but nobody informed me about it, so I've used public bus and the hotel driver went there unnecessarily. c) At least a small discount for single occupied room would be great. d) Consummation in hotel's bar could be a little cheaper, too (local red wine was perfect, but 6€ for glass...mmm...anyway a little too much).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location looking out across the water. Secluded but in easy walking distance (along the water) to the village. There, you can find some good restaurants - also all on the water. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony looking out over the water. Perfect! Clean and so charming and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and included a good selection of local and fresh foods. The island is stunning and afforded some great hiking to breathtaking views. There is also a small public bus that gives you easy access to the other charming villages on the island. In Santa Maria we even rented a small vehicle for a couple of hours to further explore on our own. In May there were only a few tourists. We had a terrific stay!
Cons: It was perfect!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and linked restaurant.
Cons: Old deckchairs.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in Lingua overlooking the sea, though no beach there. Staff was very kind. Wonderful breakfast. Spacious room, very comfortable.

Pros: The best spot and also the best food in Salina. It’s as simple as that.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good restaurant. It is a quiet place but very pleasant.
Cons: Prices in August, as everywhere in Salina, are high.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Mauro is the perfect host. He went out of his way to make our stay smooth and comfortable.
7.0 Good
Pros: Views are stunning, and the food was good
Cons: There is no dining room all the meals are taken under cover outdoors. It is rated four star although the facilities are very simple, and we felt the price was rather on the high side.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 3 nights and at the end, we sadly left. The view is unique, having an aperitive with that, really makes the day. The staff makes your stay very comfortable
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything very good: Location, Hotel, Restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best sunset view on Salina as well as simple, but great meal and wine!
Cons: Note that the the 'sea view' in the double deluxe room is rather a 'palm view' - huge palm right in froте the window and terrace spoils wonderful views of sea, sunset, horizon, etc. There is a photo of this palm in the accomodation description on Booking, though, so no tricks. But expectations were spoiled a bit.

6.8 Good
Pros: great spa-area; the view on Stromboli , good breakfast but annoying insects, You can feel at home there despite the comment
Cons: The common area's of the hotel are just fantastic, but when you close the door of your room, one gets claustrofobic because of old furniture, and a strange floor which doesn't feel clean. The shower in our room was just not ok: the cleaning staff should pay more attention to black spots when you pay this amount for a room. The bed was unconfortable too! The Michelin- dinner was a disappointment for us with lack of seasoning and cohesion and portions too small!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfortable, rooms were beautiful, position great, pool area serene and restaurant and restaurant staff fabulous
Cons: Hotel staff and breakfast wait staff not attentive, often on their phones, had to wait for over ten minutes for a staff member to attend front desk and check us out, had a parcel delivery - clearly labelled with my name and room number - was not delivered - I had to go looking for it. Bathroom not clean, hairs in the bath and a bar of soap stuck up on shower wall (probably from previous guest)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The surrounding gardens are full of fragrant fruit trees, from where the Med can always be seen. The wellness spa is sensational and full of bubbles. The steam room is steamy. The terrace is beautiful and they serve a great salad. The library is beautiful and well stocked. From the bathroom you can see extinct volcanoes and from the infinity pool you can see the most active European volcano. The reception staff are brilliant and I could definitely do with someone like them to sort out my life. Bravo.
Cons: At the aperitif terrace we ordered a drink and waited 30 minutes. As the drink was not in stock it would have been better if We were offered an alternative drink after a short time rather than waiting so long and wondering where our drinks were when everyone else was being served. This communication error was the only flaw in our stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect: the hotel, the owners, the staff. Beautiful island.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The views were spectacular, the facilities were beautiful and the location was great. The pool was beautiful, the food was amazing at the Michelin-starred restaurant at the hotel, and the selection of cocktails and wine was fantastic.
Cons: The service was just okay. For 600 euros a night, I expected a bit more attention to detail and customer service. This may be because the majority of guests were Italian (we are not) and there was a bit of a language/cultural barrier. That said, I expected a bit more for a property of this caliber.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely, the breakfast was very good, the beach nearby was spectacular, the spa was incredible
Cons: No wifi in the room Reception desk could be a more helpful and welcoming
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Signum Hotel and Spa is the most beautiful place to restore your travel weary soul and be fully welcomed and cared for. We loved the location, the attentive staff, and as we were out of peak season, recommendations for places to eat that were still open and simply authentic. The new villas are stunning and if possible treat yourself to time in them. The Spa is excellent and the healing waters had a lasting effect. Thank you to all at Signum Hotel. Grazie a voi.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, charming and cozy hotel! It’s well located in Malfa, between Santa Marina and Pollara. We particulary liked Lingua more as a village, but Malfa is a good in between place. The hotel is extremely charming with lots of antiques carefully selected. There is a relaxed, cool vibe about it, with also a library full of books you can just borrow to enjoy the pool.
Cons: Staff is not very fast, though it’s an island and things do move slower. The restaurant is situated by the entrance, so people pass through the tables to get to their rooms. Noting bad per se, but it would be nicer for it to be more secluded.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Third time here.....love coming back. One of the only places we revisit! This property is special, love the spa, and the peacefulness of the surroundings. The food is amazing!
Cons: Can’t think of a thing....

Pros: Amazing staff, the room was more that what we could dream of ! The overall service was great, and the nice patio with a private section of the beach was a real plus ! No doubt I’ll come back if I got the chance to visit Salina again :) Just be careful, the closest harbor is Rinella , not Santa Marina !

Pros: This was an extremely charming Property at a quieter end of a fabulous village street. It has been in the same family for years, and they put their heart and soul into running it.
Cons: Nothing to really dislike in this lovely place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The photos on booking.com don’t do the hotel justice. It is Much much nicer in reality . Dinner was amazing with a girl singing + a guy on a piano . Location can’t be better . A big well don’t to al the staff !! Definitely worth visiting .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The building has such great character, nicely renovated, lots of old features, nice old style furniture, beautiful floor tiles. There's a really nice garden for eating breakfast if you want or just lounging during the day. Plus the staff were really friendly and helpful in helping me with maps and advice on how to get places.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Nice and well designed hotel, a little bit out of the center. Breakfast is simple but good
Cons: We paid 360 euro for a room for 4 persons. A family room. For this money everything has to be perfect. But it was not. The room had a temperature of > 30C and we requested to start the airco. Coming 2h later in the room, it still was 30C. Seems that the settings were not good. Solution was 0 and every 30min we had to switch on the airco during entire night. So, we slept about 2-3 hrs. The next morning we said we could not pay for the entire amount. As it was a booking.com booking, a discount could not be given (!?!?). We did not accept this, strange reply. You say sorry, know that the airco did not work and no discount. After calling the owner, we finally had 40 euro discount, which we accepted, but not agreed. We believe hospitality means something else......
5.5 Okay
Cons: The internet wasn't working which meant we had to spend time and money in local cafes etc to use their free WiFi. A section of the door frame fell off and on to our bed. Later the owner suggested that we must have closed the door too forcefully. This showed lack of compassion and placed the fault on to us incorrectly and unnecessarily. Coffee machine was difficult to work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property was decorated beautifully. Courtyard in back was surrounded by beautiful plants and very nice to have breakfast and relaxing to share a bottle of wine. Very clean and staff was very attentive and kind. Music always playing. Restaurant excellent!!
Cons: No complaints at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: owners were very welcoming, breakfast and restaurant were great, and the rooms were terrific. Enjoyed every moment of our visit and would highly recommend.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean, comfortable and quiet room! I was fortunate to have a view of the ocean. The garden at the back was a beautiful relaxed space where I chose to have breakfast.

Pros: Very nice place to stay, though in the high season it is expensive ( like all the island)

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Mamma Santina is a lovely place to stay in Salina. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they will collect you from the port if you let them know when you’re arriving or will drop you down there at the end of your stay, good idea as it’s a bit of a steep trek with suitcases. Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruit and fresh croissants as well as coffee granita! Make sure you eat dinner in the hotel restaurant at least once for the beautiful views and the food was incredible, probably the best meal we had in Salina. The beaches aren’t great so it was good to have use of the pool, which we had virtually to ourselves most of the time. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock outside our room. There’s a fridge in each room which is handy too. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Salina.
7.5 Good
Pros: Views good, nice room, pool good.
Cons: Waiting staff not overly friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views, the staff and the food
Cons: Only the weather - on 2 of our 3 day stay, it was a bit on the wild side!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are absolutely amazing there! We had the best time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Such a perfect location, a steep slope up there but a beautiful view over the sea right from the restaurant. Mamma Santina was even better than we imagined it was going to be. So characteristic and homely but perfectly clean and private too. The friendliest staff who were happy to help with anything you needed. The food was incredible and authentic and we ate in the restaurant a lot more than we thought we would.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, beautiful facilities and very accomading staff. An ideal base for visiting the other Aeolian Islands, within easy walking distance to the port and ferries.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an amazing stay in this hotel! It is situated a 5-10 minute walk from the port in Santa Maria and the hotel staff even offered to pick us up from the port with our luggage and take us to the hotel for free! The hotel was pristine with amazing staff who couldn't do enough to help or make us feel comfortable. The pool area is lovely with sunshine all day and the rooms are huge and deep cleaned every day and it was extremely comfortable and quiet around the hotel. The food from the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast was exceptional and the staff were really great at making sure we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the aeolian islands as it is in an amazing location with great transport links. A truly fantastic experience.

Pros: We liked everything! The view, the porch with hammock, the location, the cleanliness, the hospitality. All wonderful. Thanks to Gianfranco who was a very kind and thoughtful host. In his gentle manner, he helped us book tours, call taxis, and gave great advice regarding where to go on the island to eat, hike, swim, and explore. At the end of the day, Il Gelso Vacanze was a calm sanctuary where we felt comfortable and relaxed. We had one of the best vacations ever!
Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The host was really friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The rooftop terrace where breakfast was served had beautiful views and the hotel was surrounded by a tranquil garden
Cons: Our room was a bit overly spacious - except for the bathroom which could have done with a more space - and unlike the other rooms didn't have much of a view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful breakfasts, private balcony, wonderful host, great location, quiet, nice air conditioned rooms.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Gia Franco is a super host, the hotel location is a few minutes away from Malfa’s beautiful beach!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Franco was very friendly, helpful and a delightful host. A perfect location, just a few minutes walk to the beach & a few minutes from the centre of the village. Very comfortable room, with gorgeous views over the sea. Tasty & good quality restaurants and shops in the village and a good connection to the rest of the island with the bus.
Cons: Nothing, everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and room were beautiful. Gianfranco is a lovely and helpful host. Gardens in June create a wonderful environment particularly with our private terrace and ocean view.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Malfa is a fantastic town, a gorgeous beach is a short walk away and the town centre with restaurants and cafes is maybe 5 or so minutes away. Our apartment was perfect...clean, good air conditioning and loved the hammock outside to relax in. Checkout the sunset in Pollara, it’s a must on the island.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice host, big rooms and very quiet, only a few minutes from shops, restaurants and the stony beach. Great! Tipical Italian Breakfast, the room get cleaned every day!
Cons: nothing :-)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host was very friendly and informative. The property was extremely clean and comfortable and in a great position handy to town with wonderful views. The breakfast was lovely set on a terrace with sea views. Absolutely perfect setting, could not have asked for a nicer place to stay and a reasonable price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Owner, Gianfranco, was nice from before our arrival, until the moment we left, making sure we were always fully satisfied with anything he could help with. The rooms are spacious, bathroom big, bed comfortable and the private terrace every room enjoys is very pleasant and intimate. The breakfast is more than adequate with fruits and local savouries - big fan of their figues jam! The view is beautiful and the area is very relaxing, quite and fresh, with a constant breeze you will very much appreciate on hot days and nights! Moreover it remains very close to the most beautiful beach on the island and to the main road in Malfa, with restaurants, small shops, bars, scooter rentals, bus stops and pharmacy. The extra pleasure will come from being able to pick a few tomatoes and figues and other fruits from their wide garden - if you know how to spot them!
Cons: Nothing!!!

Pros: Very helpful staff that gave us a lot of information about Leni and things to do. Spacious room. Nice terrace. Free transfer from the port. Good breakfast.

Pros: The view from the terrace was extraordinary! The restaurant has an amazing chef and every dinner we had there was exquisite! Thank you Michele and Melania for your welcome, advice and wonderful service!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Melania and Michele were so welcoming and friendly and helpful, they would bend over backwards to help in any way they could. The many levels of terraces were lovely and the view over the ocean was amazing. It was already September so there was usually only breakfast, but Michele cooked a delicious 4 course dinner one night, eaten out on the terrace. I extended my stay by several days and wish I could have stayed even longer. I hope to come back soon.
Cons: It was the only single room of my trip with a fairly narrow single bed, but it was comfortable. A bigger bed would not have fit in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is run by a local family, and they all put their best in making you feel comfortable, especially Melania and Michele, who were both very nice and helpful, providing guidance and making inquiries about the ferries in a stormy day. The location is great, in a tiny, quiet inland village, with basic services. The island is very small, so it is easy to get from there to any of the coastal villages or the two mountains. The room was spacious and comfortable, as was the bathroom. The terrace had a beautiful view. Breakfast included lots of fresh fruits and cereals, some pastries, cheese and eggs, which was more than good for me. Overall, a beautiful, clean and well kept place, excellent and warm service and pretty good breakfast. I really look forward to going there again. Thanks a lot, Melania and Michele!
Cons: Everything was perfect for me. Maybe the only disappointment was that their restaurant (which had excellent reviews) wasn't open at the moment due to some remodelling. Anyway, it seems it will be ready for high season.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The best part was the staff, they are extremely helpful, efficient and also friendly. The room was clean and beds were quite confortable. We had dinner one evening at the hotel and the food was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wasps not stinging.
Cons: Wasps stinging.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was a real find. The staff were helpful and friendly. The view from the terrace is sensational. Its near the bus stop. The locals are friendly - everyone greets you as you pass by. It’s away from the touristy places. The best part of this hotel is the restaurant. Delicious fresh seafood and local pastas at very good prices.
Cons: I liked everything about the hotel.

Pros: Very nice and friendly hosts, Daniela speaks very good english. Perfect location just a few minutes from everything (harbour, beach, little shop, pizzeria, bars ...) . Splendid views from the terrace. Excellent breakfast with a untypically wide choice of food. Our favorites were the warm cornetti con crema ☺
Cons: Tutto a posto

Cons: a bit old but everything was nice!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Albergo Seaside in Rinella in Salina exceeded our expectations, it is perfectly located with a wonderful view over the small port of Rinella and its gorgeous little vulcanic sand beach, few metres from the Ferry and the bus. The Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming, relaxed and very helpful: always with a smile and ready to help. We stayed two nights but we wished we had book more days. The room was not too big, but neither a shoe box. It was about 12 sq metres, and it had a good shower and toilet. It was clean and non noise. It had a air-conditioning, good shower and hairdryer. We also had a small fridge. No Tv, but we didn't want it, but good wi-fi. It was overall enough to sleep in and then go the nearby beach (you don't go to Salina to stay in your hotel room). Though our room was in the corner, on a side with no view over the sea, we had a little table and chairs outside our door - like every other room; and, in any case, the Hotel terrace with the gorgeous view is few metres away. The breakfast which was included in the price was more than we expected. Fresh fruit and fresh croissant, excellent cappuccino, espresso etc... cakes, granola, yogurt and much more. The water in Rinella was warm and perfectly clean (and contrary to other beaches around the island did not have too many tourist - swimming in the morning or before sunset a wonderful experience.) I will definitely book again when I go back to Salina (two days were too little to enjoy this jewel of an island)
Cons: Nothing really. We really enjoyed our stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, just 2 minutes walk to the beach and the habor. Very welcoming host and the apartment had everything you need. Clean. AirCondition. Free Water. Good and big bed. And the view! I loved it. Daniela is the best. Miss her already.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location with a view of the port, sea and other islands. I was there at the end of September and the price was very reasonable. Also an amazing breakfast on a beautiful terrace. The staff was very nice, I even got three espressos at every breakfast.

Pros: Fantastic location with amazing view. Great terrace. Relaxed casual feel perfect for island get away.
