Pros: I have stayed here before some years ago. It looks like it has been refurbished. I was impressed by the politeness and friendliness of the staff, the feel of the room and the small touches such as the sleep spray and two free bottles of water
Cons: At the moment there is some construction work going on. This did not impact my sleep or enjoyment of the room but the view wasn't as great as it could have been.
Pros: The location was grand.. easy access to food and entertainment! The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Pros: Rooms are nice and spacious.
Cons: Breakfast was sufficient nothing more.
Good location, staff very efficient and room was excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious
Cons: My husband suffered an injury due to a problem with lift
Pros: Supper was first class
Cons: Room , poor, obviously due to using this website. No safe, that I expect from a four start hotel.
The Crowne Plaza is one of my favourite hotel chains. We chose this one as we wanted to be close to the shops, bars and restaurants in Birmingham city centre. This hotel is particularly close to the mailbox which is a great place to shop and relax afterwards. If you get the opportunity, visit the nearby Marco Pierre White restaurant in the Cube where on the 25th floor you get a great view of Birmingham.
Pros: Great location near the Cube, canals and Broad Street
Cons: Couldn't get the free wi-fi in our 9 th floor room

Pros: Spacious room for organizing repacking to travel.
Sufficient places to sit at dinner for a single person.
Excellent personnel response in replacing burnt out light bulb.
Location wrt airport and railroad.
Value based on my particular reservation was good. I was paying out of personal pocket. But I would return for the same price.
No bright LEDs to disturb my sleep
Cons: Nothing bad
No sign if water in fridge is free (many hotels charge for this)
I would like decaf earl grey for room to help sleep
Burger at dinner. Glad that this was well-done. But the bun was very dry. Needed a nice sauce to make it all more moist and flavorful.
Restaurant did not seem to know if a British beer: ale was available. Yes I liked the ale provided but the server did not know about it. It would be good if there are real British ales on tap instead of the usual corporate beers.
Is it possible to get United miles for staying at Novotel? This Would influence my decisions.
Pros: staff was very helpful and friendly
Pros: Convenient to Birmingham Airport! Great for early morning flight. They even gave us our b'fast in a bag the night before since our plane left before the breakfast opened.
We have traveled a bit, but never in a place where we needed to insert our card into a slot to turn on the lights. Guess that is well known, however was not by us. Helpful housekeeper showed us.
Very convenient to have USB charger for electronics.

Pros: they addressed my problem immediately and fixed it appropriately.
Cons: That they assumed that I would be happy with an unacceptable room (a room that opened up onto an adjacent hotel's very bright, very light sign.)I also didn't like the location.
Good size rooms, excellent lobby area, in a great locatioin.
Pros: Great location and great Price.
A classic Holiday Inn - functional, comfortable and clean.
Pros: Room was very functional as well as the bathroom. Well kept up and clean. Very reasonable price paid online compared to price listed in the hotel.
Cons: Very noisy in the hallway, lots of late night revellers on a Saturday night in Birmingham. Noise level from the street was also high.
