First of all, GREAT STAFF, which can make or break a stay. For the money, our room offered a great amount of space. Beds are 4/5, pillows were very nice. Everything was nicely cleaned. Breakfast was nice. Was nice to have a room to workout in. Situated in a very nice small town. Several restaurants, bars and The Fort are all an easy walk from the hotel. Bathroom is a little small, but clean. Pool is outdoor only, so no usage after Labor Day.
Of course, they had the basic requirements of a clean, safe and pleasant hotel (including a very nice breakfast). But I was most greatly impressed by the kind, welcoming, and thoughtful help from every employee that I met. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff. Fire pit and outdoor water feature and seating were relaxing. Long black hair hanging down from curtain onto the heating/cooling unit. Long black hair on my pillowcase. Pubic hair on the zipped up linens used for the pull-out sofa. Steve did replace linens and vacuumed curtain. No one ever came to fix shower door. It made a loud cracking noise every time it opened. They stocked soy and skim milk for breakfast. When I complained to Natalie, the housekeeping manager went out and purchased a gallon of 2% milk the next morning.
Hi def large flat screen. Clean clean rooms Shower and toilet not together
This hotel is trying to be a reasonable alternative to the ski lodge. It is within a reasonable distance of both Hidden Valley and Seven Springs. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was tasty and well-stocked. The staff performed very well. The room was quiet. The pool, hot tub, and common areas were fairly crowded with children. This is a place that families will use to keep ski vacation costs down. That is not a huge problem, just something to keep in mind for solo travelers and couples.
This hotel is conveniently located off of the highway. The available restaurants for dinner are not as convenient. The closest restaurant we found by accident, not by recommendations from staff. It is Out of the Fire, Cafe. Though a bit pricey, it has good food and ambiance. If you like wine with dinner, bring your own, as it is Pennsylvania.
Beautiful facility! Bed was not very confortable.
I know this only pertains to probably a few rooms but i was put in the room right at the top of the stairs above the lobby. So any time the phone rang or a little kid started yelling downstairs we could hear it clearly in our room. That was really the only thing i didnt like about my stay. Everything else was awesome.
Room was large, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly. Shower had some mildew, water from shower upstairs was very loud. The whirlpool was too hot and the water jets weren't set properly, so water was going all over the floor. Overall, the price was pretty high for a 3-star room.
It's near Latrobe Airport. It's difficult to find good rates for this hotel.
Everything was very clean and well kept. Rooms were very nice Fitness center was much smaller than expected for how expensive the room was.
had a problem with the hot water tank in one of the suites it was late night and the manager still came to try to fix it! he gave me more than a generous partial refund and I would definitely go back. I'm not the type to complain and I would have never of ask them for a refund but it was definitely appreciated
The decor of the room was awesome! It was so nice to stay somewhere that wasn't a typical hotel room. The log cabin theme was great but not too cliche. The room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was typical cereals and pastries. My friend tried the waffles but said the batter was watered down and ended up making the waffles chewy.
