Great food, although the menu will prove somewhat repetitive...A calm relaxing atmosphere, set in beautiful gardens/lakeside. Large deep bath great for soaking the aches and pains away following a hard day's work...
Double bed? Twin beds pushed together, kept drifting apart as they were shoved on the wrong sides so couldn't be strapped, regardless of that fact I hate twin beds you can't get rid of the centre join... The pool was just too small, the gym was again small and lacking... would have liked a receptionist to be on duty a little earlier, still waiting for my invoice to be sent out to me...
The staff were amazing. They answered every request positively and could not do enough to ensure your comfort. Hotel very clean.
The room itself was quietly situated as reguested but needed refurbishment. Old metal windows didn't close therefore supplementary heater required. Poor shower, needed power shower. Get rid of all the numerous artificial flowers and plants !!!! Not needed. Maps of grounds to walk around would be useful.
Beautiful old Manor House with original features
Our room was lovely near the swimming pool but a lot of loud banging noise which woke us up couldn’t make out where the noise was coming from but sounded like a heavy door banging, lovely helpful staff
Location, rooms, value for money and how helpful the staff were
I could not get a table in the restaurant on the Saturday night as they was a party on the go.
location was really lovely. The spec of the rooms was very good. Lovely view from our suite. We ate in the bar area as had a one year old who was well catered for. Enjoyed the food.
The shower head in the suite was very fragile and pointed in the wrong direction. For the calibre of the accommodation I was surprised at the dubious standard of the bathroom fittings!!
