old furnitures - uncomfort beds
Their service slightly old furniture. wellness area not that great.
I liked the hiking/cross country trails behind the hotel; I also loved the 5-course gourmet dinner, and breakfast buffet (delicious) There was no internet access in the rooms or free access in the hotel
Good location on a hill above Zwiesel, very nice views over the valley and the forest just beyond. After all the other quaint hotels this was just a bit too modern but that's just a personal taste. It was glass and chrome rather than wood. The restaurant was very expensive and it was not ala carte but a choice between 4 meals.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. I had a balcony overlooking the town which was lovely.
Wonderful hotel with nice location plenty to do if you liked outdoors and walking etc.
Friendly personnel, beautiful accommodations, good food, nice pool. No
If you ever want to really relax and let your hair down Eibl-Brunner is the place to go. The scenery is beautiful, the staff are amazing, the food is excellent, the rooms are spacious and have fantastic views, and also very close to a beautiful forest walk if you feel adventurous. Triple thumbs up! Eibl-Brunner is the perfect hotel. I have not negative comments.
We only stayed one night but it was perfect as a base for visiting the region. Staff were very helpful in giving advice on what to see. Hotel is mainly used by people who stay for longer periods rather than just overnight but we were still able to use the facilities such as sauna and pool.
The room was a good size and had a balcony. The hotel was quiet and we could not here others using the inside pool. Breakfast was filling though there was a limited choice. instead! The most disappointing thing was the check-in which took at least 10 minutes and tedious, and the check-out: the desk was unmanned, we rang the bell over a period of 15 minutes but no-one came. We went for a long walk
Good on-site dinner, lovely location in picturesque town. Lots of steps -- multi-story hotel on side of steep hill with no elevator. Credit card machine didnt work (apparently a local bank issue) but scared us and we had to use most of our cash for the bill.
The hotel was good situated, was clean,a very big room with a great wiew twoards the National Park, good breakfast and a great swimming pool
Very nice, very typical gasthaus but with very clean and "homey" facilities; feel like you are at your own home. Very good breakfast, in my opinion.
It is a lovely guesthouse with the most welcoming owner taking care of little comforts for travellers such as a teapot, tea bags, coffee and mineral water in the room. The room was small but comfy with a balcony to enjoy balsamic air and view.
The owners provided a wealth of information about things to see and do in the area and clearly had detailed local knowledge.
