Comfortable bed and common areas.
Lackluster breakfast. Splotchy paint job in our room.
Very nice designhotel in the centre of Lisbon, prices are ok, breakfast with famous pasteis de Belem !
Very modern and hip design, wi-fi in the rooms and a good breakfast. Great central location that wasn't small.
The rooms are small (I stayed in a double and felt like I would have been cramped with a second person).
Excellent location, nicely styled; great value for the money. Booked a 'superior' room and received a free upgrade to 'Family'.
Rooms were small (even the largest); beds uncomfortable. Visited in winter, and the heating did not work for the first night - it was the next day before they fixed it. But, the most annoying part: the wireless internet connection did not work at all. Everytime this was mentioned to the staff, they were very dismissive, and almost rude. They offered the use of the one iMac at the check-in desk, which was not at all practical. It seemed like they knew the internet was not working, and lied about it, while expressing 0 interest in having it fixed. A major negative for an otherwise great stay.
It was so charming and beautiful and modern in design. I loved it and plan on returning. It was in a great location near everything.
My room was very small but that is what I booked. Plus if your on vacation you shouldnt be in your room except to sleep, so it was ok.
Excellent location. Very clean hotel. Excellent value for money. Lovely breakfast. Perfect for weekend break.
No kettle in room. Room sometimes cold. Can hear some noise from corridors.
Central location, nice design, friendly stuff,
- From 9 days, we had 5 days no internet-connection in the room - ventilation system from the reataurants next door is loud an stinky (when you open the window) - double standard room is small
The hotel's position was extremely central, but relatively quiet as it was down a side road off one of the main squares. I thought the interior design was fun, and made a refreshing change from the hideous chintz one often gets in this class of hotel. There was a lovely sun terrace on which guests can eat breakfast and all the rooms had Korres toiletries, which is always a bonus!
Services were a bit random and didn't work all the time E.G. the lift wasn't working when we arrived, the wi-fi was really weak, the air conditioning was broken and the card machine had to be repaired before we could check out. However it sort of fitted with the 'randomness' of Portugal, was only mildly annoying and didn't spoil the stay.
position of hotel is wonderful, transportation is very easty from hotel to anywhere and to hotel. rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is very helpful.
air condition was big problem. management of otel wrote a "sorry note" for it but there was no date on his note. So I don't think air condition problem will be solve soon. Potential customer should be carefull about it. If air condition doesn't work you should open room's window but terrible noise comes from environment. it is not easy to sleep.
Hotel is on a very central location (just a few meters from Restauradores Metro Station), which makes it convenient to move around the different neighbourhoods (Baixa, Libertades, Rossio, Bairro Alto, etc) or connect to train stations and airport. The staff was very friendly and willing to assist you on your needs and queries about the city.
Because the hotel just opened 3 weeks before my stay, they were still dealing with getting the city permit to use the a/c in the bedrooms. So, I stayed there for 9 nights w/o a/c although the staff provided an electric vent for my use. It made it easier to stand the hot nights in Lisbon.
Friendly staff and location (very very citycentre)
Airco was not working and sleeping with windows open was no option due to noise outside on the streets. The very friendly hotelstaff moved us to another room.
