Cons: Arrived 20 mins. before scheduled pick up and had to wait almost 2 hours to pick up the vehicle due to limited staff capacity at the desk

Cons: Strong smell of smoke. Pretty beat up with the driver side mirror falling apart. Car ran like a toy and felt like it was barely holding the road at times. Not surprising as it had over 60k kms on it.

Cons: The insurance services that "you have to hire" which is not really true

Cons: Bad and very slow service to receive the car perhaps pushing customer to accept a more expensive option to accelerate the delivery process... mostly when you arrive to the Europcar office with the family and kids waiting more than one hour with an anticipated reservation/schedule already confirmed

Cons: The original car supplied was smaller than expected for the category. I had to upgrade to fit people/luggage and the upgrade cost was almost as much as the original rental. However, the upgrade was minimally larger and definitely not worth double the cost. That situation was/is infuriating.

Cons: We waited almost three hours to get the car, making us late for our check-in at our destination.

Cons: BEWARE, we waited for almost 3 hours to pick up our rental car!!!!!!!! A complete waste of time! I WILL NEVER RENT A CAR FROM BUDGET EVER AGAIN.

Cons: Waiting close to three hours to get a car is too long of a time to wait. All the other car rental agency’s had 1/5 of the line that budget had/Avis had

Cons: car was all scratched up and did not have all the things mentioned on the form so i had to call the guy again and tell him to write all the stuff

Cons: I was charged $200 more then my estimated rental reservation.

Cons: The facilities (underground) were dark and cramped, did not rise to the level of the staff

Cons: Took a bit of time to figure out car operation, as there was no manual. And the bumper needed some tape down before we left.

Cons: Individual who processed my car return was curt and rude. No one was around when we arrived so I chose a lane for the car and parked. As we were about to unload an attendant ran up and said we had to move over. The area was incredibly cramped and small as is, and I had barely enough clearance to move the car into the lane he wanted me to be in. So I started moving the car carefully, and even though I had enough clearance on either side, he started yelling at me about how to move the car and seemed frustrated that I wasn’t moving more quickly. Since he clearly had strong opinions on my driving skills, I asked if he could move the car instead. He said "No" at first and continued yelling at me for how to maneuver the car. He only obliged after I stopped moving the car, and even so, he continued barking orders at me like unlocking the car more quickly and even criticized HOW I unlocked the car (I used the door handle and he scoffed saying I should push the "unlock" button instead) Mind you there wasn't a mad rush or anything...no one else was there...things weren't crazy and he was just overwhelmed with work. Absolutely NO excuse for his behavior

Cons: The van advertised said it was big enough for 7 people and their luggage. The van at pickup was fine to seat 7 people, but had almost zero room for luggage. Had to go up a class, and it was nearly twice the price. Wish I had know this upfront.

Cons: More staff, better customer service, at least a waiting lounge with snacks and water. Or get out of the business and do something else.

Cons: Tried to charge me for a more expensive insurance when I already had one and the car drove terribly.

Cons: We were very disappointed that some crucial information is not shared with the customers. We were not informed that every kilometre has an additional fee. We were renting a car just for one day and the overall price ended up being twice as much from what was promised on the day we picked up the car.

Cons: The staff seemed annoyed when asked to assist on driving the car from its parked location in the garage which seems obstructed by another rental vehicle. Car was an automatic, but it was not explained that the car can also be placed in a manual mode. In the USA a car is either one or the other. Ok

Cons: At the pick up station they didn't check the car for damage. The place was dark and I didn't realize that it had a huge scratch. I had a hard time explaining the whole situation at the drop off location and had a lot of stress on my first vacation day due to that.

Cons: Long queue with only one desk open to get/return car

Cons: Being ripped off by them not accepting the online insurance I purchased from Kayak website

Cons: Nightmare. Stay Away. Could not find a ticket counter in the airport Car was dirty on delivery Car had significant cosmetic damage Customer service was rude and not helpful On initial inspection they missed a 1in scratch on the front bumper among the more than 20 blemishes, then charged me 200 Euros for the scratch. I had photos of the scratch and will be appealing. Terrible time waste on pickup and return. What a nightmare.

Cons: FIrst of all, the actual rental company name is "Gold Car" and not ACE. We went around and around the airport looking for ACE only to find out the name was wrong. Once located, the staff was easily overwhelmed and not friendly.

Cons: The name Ace doesn't appear at the rental car area at the Lisbon airport. It took several questions around the airport and a call to the number on our reservation to figure out the Goldcar rental handled the booking for Ace. After that it went smoothly.

Cons: Ace rental car barely exists at the airport. Nobody in the airport knows where it is and it is not clearly marked in the area where all the rental car companies are located. I looked for 30 minutes and then called for another 30 minutes with no answer, but finally found it after asking several people. I was told to try Goldcar (sounds nothing like Ace) and there was a 6 inch sign on the counter that was blocked by the crowds of people waiting for their rentals. After getting a number, we still waited another 1 hour 20 minutes to get to the counter. By the time we were in our car, it was a 3 hour pick up. This took a good chunk of time out of our vacation day. Beyond frustrating!! All the confirmation had to say was, pick up at Goldcar. Simple solution that would avoid hours of frustration.

Cons: Force you to buy insurance even if your fully covered for rental both with auto insurance and credit card insurance. Then they say you're fully covered until you drive back and there is a spot on the seat they want to charge you for it

Cons: The ACE rental car is very hard to find because it is gold car so that took us about a half hour. More so - we were supposed to pay $58.65 and we ended up paying $186 which is a crazy jump in price. This was a very rude awakening and they blamed it on required "added insurance" and extra fees. I feel very ripped off and was very unsatisfied because of it. If I were you I would make sure people know they will be paying 3 times the price that they booked it at.

Cons: Huge wait times at airport despite having a reservation. Agents could have been a lot more honest and helpful.

Cons: Hidden fees and no explicit mention of no MTPL insurance..on the other hand we couldnt book it online without some additional /rather unnecessary/ insurance.

Cons: Hello, I didn't get a car because they asked me for original passport But I didn't have it with me, I didn't know that for rent a car I need a have passport. so disappointed.

Cons: stay away from this car rental!
