Cons: The woman at the front desk was beyond rude. Our room was filthy. The bed cover had a big rip in it and there were holes in the dirty toilet. The only good thing was the refund that they gave us. Too bad we had to drive two hours to be so disappointed.
Pros: Gorgeous, spacious room in a beautiful location. No cell service. Great place to relax & wind down.
Cons: I wished the pools at the hotel were open later.
Pros: Hot springs at the hotel and also the one a short distance from it are great. Exactly what we expected. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was somewhat limited compared to more expensive hotels. The rooms were clean and everything worked however they were older and small. Bed sheets had been cleaned but were stained.
Pros: Friendly good service excellent food nice pool nice lodge
Cons: Room was dated and not worth price
Pros: Beautiful surroundings, nice people
Cons: Room we booked was smaller than a closet. Front desk was embarrassed. Paid $60 more for normal room. You did not describe as a closet not a room.
The place is in a beautiful location and the style of the hotel is nice, but it is out of date and not well kept. They need to improve the basics like power in the rooms, solid door locks, wifi and phones in the rooms, and fixing the decking that is falling apart.
Pros: It's in a beautiful location.
Cons: The room doors do not feel securely locked, most of the lights in the room did not work nor did the clock. The decking is run down around the building and in one spot you could fall through, but instead of fixing it they have a rubber mat over it.
The campsite across the street frequently has weekend long parties with loud music all night long. Not a family environment with the smell of pot floating through the air.
Cons: Everything. The beds were old and hard. Blankets old. Air conditioner didn't work well. There were big chucks of mold on the shower curtain. And it was a very loud place. Not a place to go for a quiet, relaxing vacation like the ad says.
we were moved to a room in the trailer, it was overpriced
Pros: the location, staff was helpfull
Cons: there was a little bait and switch with the room
Cons: Location, no cable tv, no cell phone reception, no refrigerator in room.
It was an OK place to stop for a night or two, max, but I would not want to stay there for a longer period of time. The room I had was clean and adequately furnished. A bit shabby and out dated, but otherwise fairly comfortable. I had a King Deluxe room costing around xxx a night, so I guess I expected it to be a bit nicer than it was. There was a nice TV, but only a DVD player, with no TV service at all. Also, there was no phone or Wifi in the rooms. To get Wifi, one needed to go to the lobby between 8am & 8pm to connect. I did not do that, but noticed others trying to get a connection by walking around inside and outside, holding their computers in the air, so I assume they were having some problem. There was an old fashioned phone booth in the lobby for free long distance use if one needed it. My room did not have a box of Kleenex, but plenty toilet paper. It was fairly quiet, after people in adjacent rooms settled down, but until then, the walkway to the 3 rooms on the top level where my room was, was very noisy. You could hear people stomping up and down on two sides of the room. The air conditioner was old and noisy. On a positive note, it did drown out the walkway noise a little. They had a free 'hot breakfast' with each room. I did not partake of it, as it was in a small area of the lobby and very crowded. I've never seen yogurt served in a pumper bottle or a place that didn't offer both caffeinated and decaf coffee. I have to say the staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is next to a busy highway, with traffic flowing by continuously, so there is some noise if you have a room on the front of the building. I had one on the rear of the building, so the side of the mountain was the view. It appeared to be very popular with Motorcyclists traveling through. I had trouble finding a parking spot at night, due to the lack of parking spaces. If you want a 5 star facility to stay in...don't stop here. It is not for the faint of heart, but for the adventurous!
Pros: The atmosphere was rustic and quaint. It was interesting. Like going to someone's old log cabin up in the woods. A plus was the proximity to out doors activities, such as hiking and fishing. There were two large natural hot springs fed hot tubs, too.
Cons: A huge detraction was the non-smoking rooms had chairs and smoking buckets just outside the doors, so I could smell smoke anyway. It's a good haul to get your suitcases to your room, so be prepared to work up a sweat.
Arrived late and actually yelled at by night manager for booking late through Priceline
Pros: It was REALLY nice and I always thought Days Inn were a low level motel, but it exceeded my expectations greatly!
Pros: The room had a nice sized refrigerator, LCD TV, and Microwave. Breakfast area was nice. Friendly staff.. That's about it... The room I was in was very run down and needs maintenance.
Cons: VERY OLD sheets (sweat stains and blood marks visible). The towels were in just as bad shape. Everything smelled clean, but some had caked on dirt, most of them were yellow tint stained. Heavy dirt build up behind bed. Mildew on old shower curtain.
Pros: great location
Cons: just a little run down
Pros: I liked the quick access to the highway.
Cons: The breakfast sucked, a frozen cheese omelet, that you had to ask for. Waffles and cereal was the other selection. I would expect that from a $-- hotel!
Cons: Bathtub was so old I only took showerIt was worth only $--
Cons: Old ,mold in bathroom, manager did not understand english
Pros: Good location for the event we were attending
Cons: Curtains in disrepair, but generally clean.
Pros: Nice room and location
Cons: Extremely poor customer service
Pros: Room is niceContinental breakfast is good
Cons: Hair dryer was hanging off the wallToilet did not flush & was not fixed in a timely mannerRoom was not cleaned daily
Pros: Customer service rep was friendly and helpful
Cons: Outside of hotel looks nicer than it actually is inside ...
The only thing was understanding the lady at the desk, as she spoke broken English. She was very nice though. She answered all my questions, even when she had to repeat herself.
Pros: Nice and quiet. Easy to get to with lots of parking.
We will not go back.
Pros: Location and large room, large television
Cons: Breakfast buffet was not staffed and therefore food and coffee ran out. The rooms are not quiet. There was hair in the shower. Had to get a double king because of having a pet so the one night stay cost us $20.00 more than we booked for.
