It`s near station. It`s cheap.
The heater wasn`t work in my room. The shower wouldn`t warm up.
The receptionist was very helpful when asking directions and travel arrangements from the hotel. The breakfast provided was served quickly and a variety of options were available. The location was perfect only a short walk to our gig venue.
The reports I had read previously were correct - no tea/coffee making facilities in your room which for the price of the room although cheaper than more upmarket hotels in this day and age you would expect this to be the norm. And the beds are very hard and you may wish to take your own pillow for comfort! Although that said I did have a good nights sleep.
To find good confort in the heart of London is still expensive. Hotel Beaver offers good value for a modest price. The essentials of a very quiet street, friendly and always available desk staff, the clean bed an room and excellent breakfast make the choise for just this hotel out of hundreds around a good choise.
Some guest that returned late in the night did not respect the fact that other guests share this hotel. Because the building is rather old, the noise of talking and walking people propagates through the rooms.
Location was excellent for myself: inbetween heathrow airport and city centre.
Price and room quality.
Three positive things: 1) the hotel is conveniently located near Earls Court metro station, 2) it is fairly cheap (compared to other hotels in the same zone), and 3) the girl at the receprion is very pretty.
Cleanliness is definitely not an asset at this hotel: there were stains on my pillow and sheets, and drops of water fell from the ceiling (no kidding, I think it was due to broken pipes somewhere). In addition, no TV set in the room (there is one in common in the meeting room), but this was not a main drawback since we spent the whole day out. I would consider other options before choosing again this hotel.
The location was good
Ground Floor room by the main entrance made it extremely noisy with people coming in late at night I would have preferred a room on another floor, I may be 60 but I am very fit!!!
I would recommend if someone was looking for clean basic accommodation for the night.
The fact it had a car park.
The breakfast was very nice, staff were quite welcoming and friendly. Location was nice too.
The room was not clean (sheets, walls, cupboards).
