The staff were fantastic. They answered all my questions and helped me with route planning in the city! Very helpful and made me feel very at home :)
Room was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but overall comfortable. The location was great in terms of being in a quiet area however to hit the major shopping hubs or tourist attractions not in walking distance so had to use the tube and bus systems ALOT
the young lady at the front desk
the small corridors, the lack of elevator, the lack of personel to help with the heavy suitcase , the cold room, the two different freezing bathrooms, the high price. The night front desk man placed a family with a 10 months baby in a freezing room!!!!lack of respect
Have stayed at the Raglan a number of times and always found the staff very helpful, the rooms are of a very high standard
Staff were very welcoming and room was comfortable if a little tatty. We needed to be in Muswell Hill, but generally it's probably not a great location for a tourist wanting to see more of London.
The hotel was a bit of a rabbit warren
Very helpfull receptionist when we arrived and we were able to check in early. Comfortable with reservations itemised below. Good breakfast
Noisy/thumping music till quite late. Must have been a party the evening we stayed. One ot two niggles about the bathroom:Cracked sink/broken lavatory seat/dorr did not close.
I liked the fact that the gentleman really tried to help me with the some of the things that were going on with my room. Also one of the ladies showed me good places to eat, which was really nice. I also liked the location and modern look. The bed was great.
The heater didn't work for a day or so but got fixed. Meantime, the gentleman at the desk got me a separate heater. This was great. .... I would recommend the hotel gives people internet access in the lobby (that they could pay for) as people might really need it (I did) and there's no internet cafe in the whole area (I looked). It would have helped if the staff had known that the library across the road has internet.... I'd also recommend the hotel puts specific instructions on their website about how to get to the hotel from different airports. Now I had to do that on my own. I would have chosen another hotel had there been one with that info readily available.
I only stayed for 1 night, but really enjoyed my evening meal
Not a lot
Staff was barely polite, room with spider webs, shower room not bigger than a shoe box, poor shower no power just a drizzle of water. couldn't move in the room, had to move a chair to be able to go around the bed, bedcover had cigarette hole.
The stylish bar and lounge area
I like where possible to have a late night drink on returning to the hotel for the night. Last Saturday the bar was completely taken over by a wedding party, many whom were drunk. Why is this allowed to happen?why don't they have a late bar service in the room they have hired. Guests pay for a good bar service and should be able to have a late night drink in peace. No doubt the hotel makes a lot of money out of wedding guests. This a common problem with this type of hotel.
The area. The Breakfast. Friendly staff.
Tired Bathroom - needed updating to standard of downstairs (eg toilets by reception)
rooms were so small! It is to hot there, no air con, small bathrooms, and it is not a Best Western any more!
