Because there were not any instructions for the location of the building we had to wait outside almost 1hour to locate the actual building n the keys number were wrong.. the main office was shut n we had to call somewhere else to find the key number.. just didn’t like it at all..
Calm and quite area, with facilities for cooking. We loved our to stay in Whitechapel Rooms! The day we needed to move out by 11am and flying by night we were proposed to leave the bags for free at the Whitechapel Office. Kind and professional owners! Thank you! We will come back soon
All is perfect!
The bed was nice, and it had a washer
It was hard to check in, when we had issues the tenant was not picking up phone and we were stranded at night with with no way of getting in. When we finally got in touch the tenant (after having to make other accommodation for the night) he was rude and belittling the whole conversation.
The whole experience was both scary, uncomfortable and very shabby.
We booked to stay here the night of Pride due to its location to the Troxy venue (20 min walk). The price was ok.
The room is in a flat on a council estate. We’re initially unable to contact staff or booking.com. Later found email details and got keys from key safe. But then the keys didn’t want to work!! Finally spoke to someone and got in but had the same problem getting in after our show. Generally felt a bit uncomfortable and unsure what was happening in the property. Stay wasn’t what expected - I will research better in feature. Shower was poor and no basics like hand towels or bath mats provided. Room a tad unclean. Coffee up the walls etc. Due a repaint. Fridge in room noisy. Fine as somewhere to crash if other places booked up.
