Room was filthy. Bedding was dirty with hairs in it. Everywhere you looked in room was filthy- marks on walls/ brown stains on carpet/ a toilet roll that had clearly been dropped down the toilet but left back out to dry/ we found part of a chicken goujon on the floor. The room had clearly not been cleaned but they just made the bed. I understand this hotel gets roads of hens and stags but I have seen better cleanliness in hostels. We decided we were not staging 5 minutes after checking in. We went back down to reception and the receptionist apologised and offered to give us our money back.
Pros. excellent value all round will use this website to book all getaways as such a price difference it allowed us to have a superb breakfast for free basically compared to equivalent couple staying same night

Pros. The staff were so friendly and helpful, location is ideal as it's walking distance to everything. Derry is such a fab city. Highly recommend Fitzroys for dinner near the main shopping centre. The hotel was lovely, clean room, no noise, great restaurant onsite. Couldn't ask for better.

Cons. Room cold on arrival, had to get maintenance to sort out thermostat on the one radiator (none in Bathroom). Ate in restraint but meal poor, one main course arrived with sauce solidified on top very dry, and service erratic. Breakfast ok but on second day had run out of sausages and had to wait while they cooked up some cocktail sausages..
