8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location and well equipped apartment. Orlando was very good host.
Cons: No breakfast on Monday
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Orlando, the owner, was fantastic. He goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and at home in the property. Nothing is too much trouble and he made the stay a pleasure. Everything about the property is first rate and there was nothing even slightly to complain about. There is a short, two minute, walk to the restaurant for breakfast which were excellent and set us up for the day. The restaurant was so good that we had our evening meal there one night and the food was really good. If you’re considering staying in Loreto then we would recommend that you consider Casamangos. It doesn’t get better than this. We hope to return at some point in the future.
Cons: Nothing. The stay was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location, room, food, and people. Nice and clean. All the comforts in old Loreto 3 blocks from the town Centro.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Orlando is a terrific guy who really looks after you. He made sure I had a fabulous stay and even woke me up at 1:30am to catch my bus to Guerrero Negro. The room was more like a small apartment and perfectly comfortable. The hotel has a lovely patio with shaded seating and you can use the bikes free of charge. Probably the best place to stay in Loreto!
Cons: The internet connection was a bit sketchy but other than that nothing to complain about!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place with nice court yard. Super comfortable bed. Kitchen and nice facilities. Breakfast at Orlando’s a big plus. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. Great place to stay for a while- weekly and monthly rates. Contact Orlando for more information. Definitely would stay at Casa Mangoes again but for longer stay
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast at Orlando's was excellent. Nice to be able to use washer and dryer. Location was very good. Nice courtyard and deck for relaxing.
Cons: Loveseat and chair were not very comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Landscaping was pretty, welcoming and relaxing. Information was detailed and accurate, no surprises. Staffing at unit and Orlando's restaurant were excellent. Food was great and could accommodate my gluten free/celiac diet with ease.
Cons: Only one small thing, the bikes were greatly appreciated to get around the town but a few of them need repair to be functional.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the beautiful decorations and being in a big old adobe style traditional house. I appreciated the air conditioning and how spotless the room was. I loved the two adjoining rooms suite so that we each had our own space. Deborah and Gerardo as well as their staff are very hospitable! I will definitely go there next time I'm in Loreto.
Cons: I would have liked a bigger water carafe in the room and an extra water dispenser in the kitchen so that I wouldn't have had to worry about using it up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very homey, very accommodating staff and great location.
Cons: Nada
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location within Loreto - very easy to get to anything in the town! The staff is readily available and very friendly. The garden area is a lovely place to relax. We love staying at this inn.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Central location, lots of character and nice owner.
Cons: System didn’t allow me to book 2 adults 2 kids in 1 room, so had to get 2 rooms, but the owner was nice and changed that for a fee.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the setting and decor of this colonial style hotel, as well as, the beautiful patio and tropical plants. It is also within walking distance to the central plaza and waterfront. The owners are very nice and friendly people.
Cons: If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the main street. My room was right on the street and I heard traffic noise until 2 am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place, staff, and Debbie the owner adds a personal touch. Very chill. Recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Inn is in the center of town, Geraldo recommended excellent restaurants, Orlando's, and top notch excursions, Sea and Land/Blue Nation. There were private, clean bathrooms, A/C, and a shared kitchen which is the heart of the inn. It's safe, I traveled alone; honest, owner waited for check out to charge me; and tranquil.
Cons: I arrived as a guest and checked out feeling like l was part of the family!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a quaint, funky place to stay. Right across the street from the main part of town, close to the water and restaurants, and the owner personable and helpful.

6.7 Good
Pros: Food was excellent, beautiful location, friendly staff and nice room.
Cons: Villa Palmar is a Timeshare Resort. We were not aware of this until we checked in and our consierge Dulce tried to get us to go to " information meetings" in exchange for discounts for certain activities at the hotel/resort. She was aggressive even though we declined several times. The next day, someone else was trying to get us to the meeting and the next evening someone called our room for the same purpose . We felt very upset at this point and felt abused. I complained to a very nice consierge called Samantha who said she would talk to her superiors. Another wonderful employee by the name of Jorge was also extremely helpful to us.We were told by 2 different couples that the approach this year was extremely aggressive as they too were hounded to upgrade the timeshares they already had. Both walked out of their meeting. As beautiful as the location is, I would hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone due to their sales approach and also it's isolation. There is lots to do there but it was a 40 minute shuttle ride into the town of Loreto. I am glad we saw that part of the Baja as it is truly beautiful ,but I would not return.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Too many charges for any and every thing. Too expensive. Our room was very noisy early in the morning.
7.9 Good
Pros: facility was very nice
Cons: pretty expensive
9.6 Excellent
Pros: View, hiking trails, pool, tours to see Blue Whales. The staff was very accommodating. Carlos in the excursion office was great to get us on a last minute tour as ours was cancelled due to weather the day before. My tour guide, Marie and Capitan Tony gave me the best whale watching experience! Guermo at the front desk is an excellent employee, as are all the front desk staff. Great place out of Loreto about 45 minutes.
Cons: Important info: Do not stay at their sister property the Santa Fe. They are the most difficult to work with. They don't know what they are doing regarding transportation between resorts, or customer service period. The only thing I did not care for at the Villa was the buffet. Too expensive. There is no complimentary transportation if you have luggage. Take a taxi from airport.
7.9 Good
Pros: Service was outstanding! Food was better than average.
Cons: Room was not clean. Facility is showing wear and tear. Pool tiles were loose and cut my foot.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Comfortable lounge chairs at the pool and the beach
Cons: Bed bugs. Itchy bites each morning. Talked to Javier the first morning and he assured us the maid would do a deep clean. We continued to have itchy bites all week.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful area, superb and family friedly service by resort employees
Cons: Food is average, Pillows are terrible!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: While at Villa del Palmar my husband and daughter compare our holidays to a dream. The management was so kind to honor my request for 3 ocean view rooms close to each other and with honesty reimbursed an over-payment. This place is perfect for a family with grandparents, parents and young children: excellent service, delicious food and spectacular scenery. Plus this resort has excellent features not found at other 5 stars facilities we used berfore: the hot tub is hot; no key to loose, it is on your wristband; not necessary to reserve lounge chairs with towels (there are plenty of chairs with clean towels placed on them), the kids pool is very well designed, the pools do not have restricted hours. Thank you to all the people who work so hard with all their heart at Villa del Palmar to make Loreto a memorable place in Mexico. We shall remember you Jorge and the paddle board guy at the beach, Dhom; Gregorio, Edgar, Marcos, Christian, Roberto, Miguel, Gerardo, Luis, Abraham, Jose, Ventura, Jonathon, Ricardo, and mostly Oscar because my grandson’s name is Oscar. I am impressed that the General Manager Sr. Sixto Navarro came in person to see me on the last day. I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested to experience with luxury the beauty of the sea of Cortez before it gets popular like Cancun area.
Cons: I have used booking.com to make a simple reservation for a hotel in Vancouver Canada and I was very pleased with that straightforward experience . But for so far away it would be much faster and clearer to book directly with the resort. Every time I had a concern I had to phone and wait so long however whoever answer the phone at booking.com was very professional.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: excellent. lovely grounds, great rooftop terrace
Cons: the shower did not drain properly
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is great and the room was very quiet.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable and the shower didn't drain. Also the room had an electronic keypad lock (which I like) but from the wear pattern on the buttons it is obvious that the codes are never changed. WiFi was unusable but that's pretty much the norm.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive staff. And friendly.
Cons: The only inconvenience was that our bed had ants and they bite you. The staff listened to our complaint and immediately got switched to a new bedroom. Staff did explain they are doing they're routine extermination and greatly apologize. Other than that rooms were rustick looking and clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice and accommodating staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our second stay here and this little boutique hotel is the best. Very clean with a beautiful courtyard and WiFi that works. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Close to malecon, restaurants and small wonderful shops. We will return for sure!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel within walking distance to the Mission square, the docks, the beach, restaurants and night life.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location near seaside and historic center. Many good restaurants nearby. Charming place.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: This is a small cute facility on a quiet street very close to the action - the Malecon, the principal restaurants, the Misión and the Plaza. It's style is classical Mexican - very appealing, at least to me. The ambiance and the very reasonable price makes it a bargain.
Cons: In the 2 days I was there I never had hot water without requesting it. I was told there was a "boiler problem" which may be true and maybe it was not representative of the norm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luz is a wonderful host
Cons: Just great experience. I keep returning
9.4 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely Spanish-style building set around a garden and tucked away on a quiet side street, yet only two blocks from the center of town. Rooms were tasteful, with colorful tile, and super clean. There are only seven total rooms, I think, so it feels quiet and private. The staff was warm and eager to help. There's a pretty roof deck, too.
Cons: There's one water cooler for guests to use, and it's in the office. Would be more convenient to have bottled water in each room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Free loan of bicycle with stay. Within walking distance to mission, shopping, dinner, malecon and bay. Bathroom clean and modern. Had zero problems with my stay.
Cons: It's nice, but it's neither cheap nor at the beach so I did like it, but didn't love it.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner of the property Stephen and his wife Josey where a delight to get to know and enjoyed our conversations. Stephen knew the area and where to eat and find adventures. He staff is excellent
Cons: Think if anything they need to invest in a couple of good bbqs. Local markets provide good fish and meat just right for the grill
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cool Space & layout with nice pool on the middle of the casitas. AceVery ace cool pl
Cons: Just didn’t quite know to turn down a dirt road but owner was ez to reach & easily talked me thru it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, heated pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convience access to shopping, beach, and restaurants. Just minutes walking time.
Cons: Not enough vacation time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are so helpful and friendly. They will help with tour arrangements and car rentals. Everything you want to know. Easy distance to walk to and around the town. Gorgeous little casitas. They also have larger ones for bigger families and groups.
Cons: The beach is rocky, everywhere. No sand and cold water. You need to take a boat trip to find a sandy beach. Lots of construction all over the town. A huge community of high end condos 20 minutes to the south. Loreto is changing quickly. There are no buses. None. You need to book a rather expensive taxi or rent a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the property was great from the staff to your house you rent, thru make sure that you are well taken care of and they make you feel at home, they habe good suggestions on things to do and places to go while your staying out there, will def be going back.
Cons: N/a
8.8 Excellent
Pros: These modest cabins are in a great location from which to walk around the block to Loreto's wonderful Malecon, or to Loreto's old town, where you will find excellent restaurants, plazas, the cathedral, and more. The cabins were immaculate, and sitting around the pool was peaceful. Eva and Maria, the staff we interacted with, were kind and helpful. Eva speaks English. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, and Eva will try to find something if the kitchen doesn't already have it.
Cons: The cabins are small and tend to be dark unless one keeps the door open - but you might get a mosquito or two! In the spring of 2019, there was construction going on next door, so there was some noise early in the morning and during the day.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, comfy bed, adequately outfitted room very basic.
Cons: They have two pools one cold one warm. The warm pool was very dirty, the morning we left clarifier had been used the stuff floating on the top was revolting. The location is poor down a little dirt road, hard to find. Not easily accessible. When we got to our room we found two sets of earplugs we thought a nice touch if needed. We later found we backed onto an annual carnival with rides and loud music into the wee hours of the night. If we had been informed on booking we would never have stayed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous room: updated, colourful, comfortable. 2 swimming pools and a hot tub. Owner, Steve, very, very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!
Hotel Angra - Loreto (Baja California Sur) - Building
6
8.7 Excellent (231 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Loreto, Hotel Angra is within a 15-minute walk of Museum of Missions and Our Lady of Loreto Mission. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The TV had Seattle KING 5 station. We watched SNL and caught up on PNW news. There is a working windmill on the premises. The family that owns this small hotel keeps it well maintained. The parking area is locked at night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anna at front desk opened late for my arrival on b7s. She was at desk bright andcearly with most delish coffee ever
9.6 Excellent
Pros: What I enjoy about Hotel Angra is the lovely Mexican hospitality. It feels more genuine than other places I have stayed. It’s probably best to speak some basIc Spanish, but not always necessary if the manager is available. The room is large, the shower is great, the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is simply a bowl of cereal, fruit, toast and coffee, which I think is perfect. It’s a hotel, but I like it so much I always stay here when I am fortunate enough to be in Loreto.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room and bed were large and the shower was hot. There's a laundry service across the street that does a load of laundry for five bucks which was wonderful. They turned it around in 4 hours.
Cons: They really don't offer much in the way of breakfast. It's weak coffee and cereal. So you can go around the corner to a coffee shop and get a real cup of coffee and some pastries.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff is helpful and professional.
Cons: Able to hear the other guests. Dogs barking during the night. I believe they are next to the hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: Easy to find location. Good basic room for overnight stay. Clean, A/C worked.
Cons: Breakfast was toast, cereal, coffee and milk. There was a weird step from the bedroom to the bathroom and I kept tripping over it
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and friendly family operated
9.2 Excellent
Pros: But it was very clean, comfortable, well supplied - I would/will stay again.
Cons: the value was great, the secure parking was excellent. It is a charming and comfortable place! I was a bit disturbed by extremely noisy guests at 1am, which went on for an hour or more. That has not been my experience in Mexico, I am assuming it was an unfortunate exception.. My room was also quite noisy from adjacent rooms. Also the continental breakfast was not really worthwhile -pretty much just dried cereal, some bag bread I think. Bananas and coffee. It would be nice to have some boiled eggs, yogurt...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Safe and clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in Mexico! 18 years of traveling Baja and this was the best!
Cons: Party area next door was quite loud, but did settle down after 10 pm

Overview Reviews
Offering garden views, Sukasa Bungalows in Loreto offers accommodation, free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy hiking and cycling nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was accommodating, polite and very helpful. They were in contact with us along the way and even though We arrived hours later they waited for us with pleasant attitude. Great location with ocean views. Staff even referred us to a good local taco place.
7.1 Good
Pros: Outside seating area.
Cons: The noise from the other tenants made it hard to sleep one night. No staff on duty to request them to be quiet. I would have like my room to have been cleaned daily.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, staff is friendly and available, the place was clean
Cons: Needs better lighting in the common area outside. The location, while in the middle of the action, can make it noisy for sleep
6.7 Good
Pros: It was a nice location and liked the size of the rental.
Cons: The bed was like sleeping on concrete. We both ached in the morning.
6.7 Good
Pros: Lovely staff - really helpful Nice front yard with hammock and deck chairs and lovely sea views Easy walk into town centre, and to marina for boat trips Good parking right in front
Cons: Very noisy indeed, till late, on weekend nights in particular - great if you plan to party yourself but not so good otherwise Good for a couple but extra people are on little bench beds in the living room, without proper curtains etc We had a few mosquitoes so take some spray
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, full kitchen, quiet, clean.
Cons: They have bikes to borrow that were hogged by another family that was there.
7.9 Good
Pros: The property is in a great location - right by the waterfront and close to the main center. It is a cool property with lots of places to hang out inside and outside. We really appreciated the complimentary bicycles. The host was very friendly and accommodated us showing up a little later than planned.
Cons: We booked a bungalow that claimed to have "sofa bed". It had a sofa, but no sofa bed. Our host brought a blow up air mattress, but the effort to get that set up for one night was not worth it and my friend slept on the couch. With what we booked I expected there to be a sofa bed that was pulled out and already made up. This detail needs to be updated for accuracy. The property was a bit run down. For example, some of the screens had holes in them, so there were some mosquitos that got in. Another element is, being right on the main drag, there was a lot of noise from people cruising and partying out on the street. It didn't go too late, but you might want to bring some earplugs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The provision of filtered water is a bonus. Too many places force you to buy more plastic bottles. Given the proximity to marine parks & the beautiful sealife more places in Loreto should do the same.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was Prime great ocean view great atmosphere you're not complaining that it will stay there again highly recommended the staff is awesome
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bungalow was great and the manager super friendly because he did everything he could to help us . We arrived late and found out there was only a double bed and a couch for a child although we had booked for 3 ADULTS !! So he put up an airmatresson the floor. So be careful if you are 2 it s fine but it s not for 3 adults. He felt very sorry for us
Cons: The bungalow was on the malecon so it can get very noisy at night

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and fully equipped community kitchen. Jill and her family have traveled all over the world and know what travelers want and need. Beds were so comfy and room and pool and garden all landscaped with the style of old Mexico. Truly amazing!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, private with large shaded outdoor common spaces. Full outdoor common kitchen. Microwave, refrigerator and small kitchen area in room. There was a welcome fruit bowl with granola and yogurt. There was a coffee bean grinder and beans for either drip or percolate coffee. Easy walk to town. Large bathroom with a lot of counter space and nice big showers with good water pressure. There were places to put your belongings from an armoire for hanging clothes to benches at the end of the beds for suitcases and shoes. There were power strips so we could easily plug in all our devices (phones, computers, watches). The beds were very comfortable. There is air conditioning if you like a cooler room at night. The owners were great and very helpful. We will definitely come back again and next time stay longer! It would be a perfect place for a group of family or friends traveling together as it is small (around 4 rooms) with the common area in the middle. We did not use the pool or hot tub but it is also in the common area with a lot of umbrellas and lounge chairs.
Cons: The internet could be slow at times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, excellent hosts, beautiful property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast food provided upon my arrival after checking my preferences. Owners live on-site, volunteered valuable information about the town, restaurants, highlights.
Cons: N/A
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very helpful in setting up excursion ideas.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place with lots of extra amenities (bikes, coolers, etc.).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved staying here. It was very peaceful and quiet and 1/2 block from the Malecon (beachfront). We plan to return. The owners, Jill and Richard Jackson were very friendly and efficient.
Cons: Would like better and more reliable internet connection.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was good. Close to restaurants & just a short walk to the beach. Also, it has a patio on the 2nd floor that faces the plaza. It was a nice place to sit for morning coffee. The breakfast was very good also!
Cons: The room wasn't great but it was decent.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room itself was very nice, the staff was great and so was the location. Everything is walking distance. They also have parking!
Cons: The room closest to the street was a bit loud. Aside from that, everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Wi-fi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic. Very clean and a good breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: A bed blanket to be provided during winter months. Hangers to hang clothes on rail. A hairdryer would also be great as nights are very cold during February.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location in the interesting little town of Loreto. Parking on the street was easy. Many great and reasonable restaurants nearby. Mission plaza a very short block away. Very nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. A three star hotel, I think, and a correct rating. Shower had hot water with good pressure. Toilet worked well. Bathroom door a little warped on the bottom, but not a problem.
Cons: It was fine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, breakfast
Cons: Little nosies on bottom floor
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the building, the services and the location
Cons: It was difficult finding a place to have breakfast at 8 am in August. Only 1 cafeteria was opened around the hotel !
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location across from Central plaza, secured parking, recently upgraded rooms, pleasant second floor terrace overlooking the street and cathedral, coffee shop adjacent.
Cons: Hot water was a bit slow to warm. Otherwise bueno.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Traditional Mexican style. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Get rid of the ugly coffee shop awning on the outside of the building. Actually the coffee shop itself is an eyesore and needs an overhaul. Never saw anyone in there. The awing in the inner central courtyard also distracts from the charm.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location.

Pros: We didn't really like anything about the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property exceeded our expectations by far. Great location and excellent amenities (kayak, paddle board, bikes). There is some cooking gear in the room and everything one would need in the shared kitchen which was a great place to prepare meals and meet new friends. We especially appreciated the blender which was useful to make fresh fruited margaritas. The hosts (Jeff, Linda and Cindy) were wonderful. The hotel is in a quiet part of town and within walking distance of the square and malecon and biking distance of everything. Nice quiet town with friendly people and lacking the "hard sell" for goods and timeshares that is often associated with other Mexican towns.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
7.5 Good
Pros: comfy
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Linda Williams went out of her way to be helpful when my luggage was delayed by two days. I really appreciated her help. The other hotel guests were relaxed and easy to be around. Manager Cindy was always available to be of help.
4.2 Okay
Pros: the room was large and the fridge was a good size, bed was comfy
Cons: better maid service. two mini bars of soap for 2 people for 2 weeks doesnt cut it. clean sheets only 3 times in 2 weeks doesnt cut it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very private and secure. It felt like we were staying in a private home. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Walk to everything, or borrow one of the bikes from the casa to explore. Beautiful spot! Thanks Loreto Playa!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property exceeded my expectations! Not only are the grounds gorgeous, it is in a great location, in the quiet part of town, just across the street from the beach and within very easy walking distance to the Malecon, Marina, and the town center with many great shops and restaurants. If walking isn't your thing, they even provide bikes that you can use during your stay! It is also close to 3 different grocery stores so you can also buy your own food to prepare in your room, or in the fully stocked, outdoor community kitchen. The kitchen is also a wonderful place to meet and socialize with other guests. Jeff, Linda, and Cindy are terrific hosts, and great resources for all that Loreto has to offer! The pool is a great place for a refreshing dip to cool off. They even have a washer and dryer for long term guests!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: El silenció , privacidad the pool and Cindy was and excelent hoost...
Cons: Satélite tv , most of the channels we're Canadian,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners, Jeff and Linda, were very warm and friendly, interesting and incredibly helpful. We enjoyed the shared kitchen, and meeting and visiting with other guests. We loved our little porch area and the view. We were within a 5 minute walk to the Malecon, and a 15 minute walk to the center of town. How perfect is that?!
Cons: Can’t think of a thing! Really, we have no complaints!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The suite we stayed in large and clean.
Cons: fridge in room didn't work. Food was just okay.
5.4 Okay
Pros: I own property in Mexico and have traveled many places in the country I give this hotel 2 stars because the staff is wonderful and its on the bay ( which is not nice at all) The photos of the hotel with the hammocks in front of the rooms is why I chose to stay. However those rooms belong to the owners/ managers. There are no hammocks in front of the other rooms nor are there room darkening shades nor paint like those shown. I paid over 100 a night low season but the hotel is more of a 40 dollar hotel. The wifi doesn't really reach the rooms. There were holes in walls and doors, no drinking water, no ice, three channels, thin walls, barking dogs. Super clean room however. Staff great good air conditioning I did like being near the malecon, however there isn't much there as far as things to do. Pool seemed cloudy and couldn't find a bathroom near it ( may have been but looked) . Rim of pool broken up and plaster coming off bottom. Felt safe .
Cons: Holes in wall and door Pool needing work and dirty No or non usable wifi in rooms No drinking water 12 oz a day) not enough no ice Run down Noisy Not as pictured with hammocks No lounge chairs for palapas out No taxis Nothing to do
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Love the quiet, the views, breakfast on the patio. Good location. On the beach and close to the malecon. We stop here twice a year as drive to and from BCS.
7.5 Good
Pros: The buffet . The woman cleaning our room was extremely nice and the maintenance personal went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Cons: I was not given the room I asked for online. At booking I was told my room would be on the second floor. The room I was given was on first floor in the very back building and with no wi-fi reception. At arrival nothing was explained regarding amenities or events going on. Fortunately we accidentally walked into the bar and was told by the bartender about the delicious buffet. I'm only writing this because I really believe with a few improvements this could have been a 10 out of 10 rating. And if they correct their Wi-fi reception,it would make a stay at Oasis Hotel a much more pleasant one. Please don't take this as an attack but as an opportunity to make your hotel a better experience. Good luck
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is at the far end of the malecon, so it's quiet and scenic. The grounds are lovely. It's a short walk to the historic centro and lots of bars and restaurants.
Cons: The room was very bare-bones, out of keeping with the building's exteriors. The included continental breakfast was lame -- just toast and butter, no pan dulce or fruit.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is old time Baja in a lovely setting, the view from the bar is spectacular. This holds the true essence of Baja, great people, large rooms, clean, best setting. Only hotel on the main drag that is right on the beach, all others have the street in front. Loved, loved, loved this hotel. Not fancy but peaceful, huge rooms, spectacular location. Great food too!
Cons: The room décor is dated and soft furnishing and linens could be renewed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old school charm, clean, and an endless view of the Sea of Cortez.
Cons: Many staff members have limited English making communication a little hard. In the end, everything works out.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I’ve stayed at The Oasis before, but did not try the hotel restaurant. I was surprised by the quality of the food. The Saturday evening BBQ buffet attracted almost a full house of hotel guests, American ex-pat and locals. Breakfast was delicious with many recipes I’ve never seen before, served early (6am) through late morning. Dinner service was great as well. If you’re not in the mood for local specialties, the wood-fired pizza oven will provide a tasty alternative. My room was spotless upon check-in, and attentive housekeeping kept it that way during my four-day stay. If you get rooms in the #8 thru #28 blocks you won’t be bothered by the very active local evening street scene (headlights, loud music). These are all ocean view rooms; if you don’t care about an ocean view room, the rooms behind the pool area are also quiet.
Cons: Admittedly, I was there during a heat index of 110’ in early September created by enormous humidity approaching 80%. So the air conditioning was having some trouble keeping up! But I was still able to sleep as long as the air was moving. The swimming pool area is better than most hotels in the area - PebbleTech decking, mosaic coping, palm trees, large and shady palapa - but the water wasn’t sparkling as I remembered from previous trips. Again, this could easily have been due to the extreme weather conditions. That said the pool was freshly skimmed of surface debris, so I had no problem jumping in.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great! The food was good (especially the pizzas) and the room had a great ocean view. We would definitely stay here again.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: I've been trying to resolve this since March 2019 before writing a review because I wanted to give them a chance to fix the mistake. This has been going on for months. Hotel charged my Visa twice by mistake (the extra charge was close to $800 USD). Called and emailed multiple times with the staff, the staff refusing to admit their mistake initially and said they already issued a refund and I should checked with my bank. Verified with my bank multiple times and was told that the hotel actually did not issued a refund but instead completed the 2nd charge. Called hotel back multiple times (international calls), they finally admitted their mistake due to "new staff" and was told they will get in touch with my bank. NOTHING HAPPENED. My bank called me several times in the course of this ordeal and told me that they actually provided both receipts I signed as evidence that this was correct (the 2nd receipt when I signed for, I was told it was to issue a refund for the deposit that was placed on my card). Called back to the hotel (I lost count how many times I've been calling them), spoke to Abraham and he spent close to 20 mins looking into this matter (every time I called, I had to explained to the staff there the entire situation again), after spending 15-20 minutes looking into this, Abraham agreed it was by mistake and he said he would get in touch with my Visa bank. Nothing happened again, and today my Visa called to let me know that this hotel is disagreeing with the dispute, and that the refund is actually issued by my bank instead of by the hotel. I would highly recommend that you don't stay here. The location is very nice and beautiful, but if you have a problem after your stay, the service is horrendous, be ready get swindled by them.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to the beach.
Cons: To noise and loud. Music playing until 3 in the morning and could hear everything that people said in the next room.

Pros: The dinner the Mexican Combination Plato was fantastic fantastic fantastic guacamole off the chart and the hostess/waitress immeasurable. The front desk Manager also very helpful. A hidden gem!
Cons: Nothing, beautiful property, very nice and welcoming people in a wonderful setting!
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice small Hotel in quiet surrounding with great views. Nice staff, got early check in. Enjoyed a relaxed afternoon at the pool. Good restaurant with nice staff too.
Cons: Room and balcony were very basic. Palm roof may be great in summer, but not at this time. Cold wind through palm roof, doors and windows. Even in bed we didn't get warm and comfortable. Heating function of AC didn't work. Unfortunately we had noisy neighbours below.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Location was nice.
Cons: Would have liked wifi available throughout the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a perfect setting to relaxe. Quiet. Nice pool. Beautiful beach close by. Restaurant the best I had on the trip! Staff very nice friendly and helpful, All together a paradise for us! Thank you for making our stay so very special!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting, the dining the service
Cons: Overkill street lights from marina that destroyed the night sky. The fact we couldnt get a queen bed (it was our anniversary) because we had a small dog.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a beautiful setting. Everything is very clean. The people that work there are very nice and helpful. The young lady that is in the office is special. Ernesto in the restaurant does a great job. we really enjoyed our stay. We are in La Paz now and we are going to leave here a day early so we can spend another day at the Tripui.
Cons: It would be nice to have a ice maker but that is a very small thing because Ernesto in the restaurant can give you a bag of ice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We love the hotel. The surroundings are beautiful. You can't hear the road noise. The beds are a little hard, but we can live with that.
Cons: Restaurant opening time was said to be 8 AM. We had to wait until close to 8:30. We have lots of traveling to do so appreciate an earlier start. But, we love the place overall.

6.2 Good
Pros: The rooms were neat and clean with beautiful ocean views. The golf course was amazing! Very challenging with wonderful views of the mountais and the Sea .
Cons: First off, while the rooms are clesn and lovely, the floors are tile. If you go here, ensure you are not placed in a room that is below another guest. The tile floor enhances any and all noise from above...Very Noisy! Next, they advertise a "Sport Bar" at the hotel. While there is technically a bar the floor sbove the check in counter, It really doesnt deserve to be called a sports bar. In addition, while there was loud music, lights and a moldy foozball table in the bar, there was no bartender or any sign of an emoyee anywhere. Last off, the jacuzzi was never more than body temp warm. Even after repeated requests to heat it up, it rdmained only a few degrees above the pool temp.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was stunning - especially if you wanted to play golf at Loreto Bay - Staff we’re always very kind and helpful.
Cons: In her day this resort must have been something- but she has drifted into disrepair- it still has the potential to be quite something if the owner would vest the time and money to bring her back to her former self. This is a prime piece of property she sits on - such a shame. Even if they closed for a few days - got the entire staff including management on a team building clean up - work on the grounds / cut grass / pressure wash everything / fix things in plain site that are in disrepair - at least try. Rafael one of the managers was wonderful- I hope he can get this lovely little gem polished again.
6.7 Good
Pros: Facilities and activities
Cons: Service, staff are very slow and thre is a severe lack of management. There is no attention to details, staff has different information. Even though Room service is a basic with an all inclusive it is not. Watch out for this when booking, it is not clarified anywhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool was very nice.
Cons: Did not have any patio chairs and the grass area outside the patio looked a little unkept.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The beach was by the hotel and it was nice snorkeling starting from the beach, the sea was not deep.
Cons: The balcony was very very small, only one chair fits on it, the view of the beach is nice. We were there in low season and we think in the bars and restaurants was less choice. When we arrived in the hotel we booked and paid All Inclusive but after being one day in the hotel we think of the All Inclusive is very expensive for what we get so we cancelled the All Inclusive and the hotel will return the money to our Visa-card. And luckly after a very lot of e-mails two weeks ago (in May, we staid in November) we received the money. There has been a change of staff so hopefully in future will this be better. We had a very bad experience with a waiter of the bar, hopefully he is not working anymore at the hotel but beware this will not happen to you. We were in a restaurant and when we would order the waiter said he did’t understand our roomnumber and he was going to check something and when he came back he said there was no credit or so and shows us a keycard of a room and said he wanted to have ours to check something and after we gave him our keycard he came back and said it was ok and he returned a keycard and then we could order. After we had eaten and paid we go to our room. The keycard was not working so we went back to the waiter and than he run in the direction of the kitchen and took a keycard out of his own jacket. This card was ours. We didn’t trust it and later that evening I saw that the zippers of our little backpack were not like we had left them and after checking I thought we did not miss anything and I thought my husband had used the zippers. Later that evening we heard someone walking in the corridor and then something touched or knocked on our door. When we looked through the peephole we didn’t see anyone. The next evening happened the same. At that moment we thought nothing was stolen from us but when we arrived home and we checked our money we are sure we missed a part of our money. Because we didn’t used that wallet we haven’t noticed that there w
4.6 Okay
Pros: The view and tour to Coronado island
Cons: staff is rude and overall service is terrible, breakfast and overall food was mediocre
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing! The beach is a dream and the hotel has all the comforts one might need. We had a great time here.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Good location, nice beach, a few good staff members
Cons: Staff has attitude, is rude, cleanliness could be better, food at the restaurant is not good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was right at the oceans edge. They also provided water activities
Cons: When I checked in, I was not told I needed to put down a credit card to be able to purchase food at the restaurant, even though I payed with the credit card. I thought you put everything on the room and then pay at the end. Later that day I tried to order at the restaurant and I was asked how I was going to pay for the meal. I told them to charge it to the room and they told me they could not do that. I would have to pay with cash. And they would not work with me to resolve the issue. I was told I would have to pay or go to the front desk, which I did. Later that day I went to the beach and a waiter stopped by and asked if I wanted to order. I told him I did have cash and I ordered a margarita and some fish. He never wrote anything down and went away. An hour an a half passed without my drink or food. I was able to get the attention of the waiter and he ran to my location. He apologized and advised me he forgot about my drink and there was a shift change in the kitchen and my food was not cooked. He told me he was putting in the order and would bring my drink. It took 15 more minutes for me to get my drink and still no meal. I waited 30 minutes more and walked back to the restaurant. I was told it was being cooked. I was so hungry and upset, I canceled the order and filed a complaint with management.

7.6 Good (58 reviews)
6.7 Good
Pros: the location is nice- small tienda across the street with ice, and very cold beer. the air conditioner was quiet and effective. the complementary coffee was very good, the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: there was no hot water for the shower; I was informed that they only turn on the water heater in the winter months. this is not acceptable; also no lighting in the bathroom. The ceiling had no fixture, only wires protruding where the fixture should have been. Lamp over the sink did not work because the switch was broken.
6.3 Good
Pros: Perfect for only sleeping, great location.
Cons: Beds are really uncomfortable, staff wasn’t at the reception and had to ring them multiple times, the door locks as you close it so if you leave your keys inside you might get in trouble
4.6 Okay
Pros: Near down town and the ocean
Cons: No parking .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: A more comfortable bed & it is an older run down building
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Its a very simple place, no luxury here, only what is needed to rest, but the owner is very spot on and nice, and you are close to whatever you might need.
Cons: Nothing, it is what it is, according to the price and remote location
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great coffee and Mexican pastries in the morning Located a block away from the big square
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff are very nice, and explained to me some of the things I could do in the area - it is quite well located, easy walking distance to the seafront and to the central plaza. There is tea/coffee available in the mornings. The air conditioning works, which was a necessity in early August, although it does leave a slightly weird smell and is noisy.
Cons: Be under no illusions, this is not a "comfort" stay - the rooms are extremely basic, and it's quite exposed so you will certainly find a variety of insects. I encountered cockroaches and ants, which at least allowed me to witness nature's wonder of a line of determined ants dragging the corpse of a cockroach up the wall of the bathroom one morning...
6.7 Good
Pros: Location. Close to beach and restaurants. The owners are great. Very minimal but for the price it was fine
Cons: The owners were awesome. Will do anything they can to make you happy. Great place for short term.
6.3 Good
Pros: OK...hot coffee early.
Cons: Very old...

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Recent 2 day stay for buisness. Service staff members were friendly, Not enough English speaking to support a detailed conversation for very long . But I was in Mexico and not the US. Checkin desk and management were short and buisness like. There is not a check in counter, you sit at the concierge desk to check in. Food at the resturant was good and tasty. Breakfast buffet was good and fresh. Not a lot of people hanging out at the pool or bars during my stay. Hallways to rooms are louder than normal due to the, all tile floors. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Television channels were limited only two speaking English. Great air conditioning in teh rooms , great shower and all tile floors in the rooms which made it feel clean.
Cons: Lack of people which could be viewed positively for some, need for more bilingual speakers to converese with the guests. One of three bartenders were making an attempt to converse with coustomers.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The first time I came through Loreto, I walked past this beautiful hotel and took a photo of the lobby with its fountain and interesting details. It was so well decorated and inviting, I wanted to be sure to stay here. This charming hotel also has a nice indoor patio and shaded rooftop seating with a full view of the plaza and church. (How many hotels do you enjoy photographing!?) The room was small but clean and attractive. There are only a handful of rooms that have a large window to the plaza. All other rooms face the hotel lobby and inside patio. The pool on the roof has a translucent glass bottom and you can see it from the lobby. We would definitely come here again. It is central to everything: the malecon, the mission church, the little museum, little cafes with $4-5 margaritas, yummy restaurants (try La Palapa), and the Sea & Land Tour company.
Cons: The rooms were a bit small. I wish they had given us two bottles of complementary water instead of one. Baja is really dry and it would be a nice touch.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The WiFi did not work in one of our rooms but worked in the libby
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The rooms are a little dark in their decor, but really nothing not to like about the hotel.

Cons: Sheets to small for bed
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super nice and helpful. Setting was amazingly authentic to Mexico. Beautiful courtyard interior. Rooms are well decorated and comfortable.
Cons: Bed was hard. Curtains in the room were light and sheer and did not provide a dark room for sleeping. Room looked over the Town Square which was loud at times.

Pros: We enjoyed the pool area and the patio area. The restaurant was good. Service was good, restaurant and pool side.
Cons: Pool wasn't always the cleanest. Kitchen supplies were limited, had a 4 person room but didn't have enough cutlery, glasses, cooking pots. Rooms were noisy, sound transfers through the floors. Had no patio furniture on the deck which was a waste.
