The hotel was cold and cheaply furnished. The staff did not go out of their way. It was relatively expensive compared to other hotels in the area and yet everything was extra. Either stay at the Hanover Inn or if you have a car, one of the hotels outside of Hanover. It was a disappointment.
Staff was fantastic! We had a mid-morning tour at Dartmouth planned and they let us keep our car with the valet (after checking out and loading it with our suitcases) until that afternoon at no additional charge. That was a very nice touch.
Very modern interior. Nice bed and bathroom. Clean. Nice smell. Walking distance to Dartmouth. Quiet.
Since I was visiting Dartmouth College, the location is fantastic-especially in freezing snowing days. There was only one computer in the business center, and it was out of service when I stayed.
Love the newly renovated Hanover Inn. Everything is so clean and modern and yet fits in perfectly in Hanover. nope
For us, it was a convenient place to stay. Quiet, had all basic necessities, clean. Continental breakfast was more than expected. Easy ride to stores, eateries and scenic areas.
The nice room and breakfast For me there was nothing not to like
It was clean and comfortable for the price. My son loved the large TV and ESPN which we do not have at home. The place was quiet and well managed. Nice complementary breakfast. The staff were very nice Off the beaten path. Carpet not the newest.
Clean room, breakfast, great desk service Thin walls - could hear neighbor's TV
room smelled stale - smoky even though non smoking bathroom had torn wall papaer
Will definitely try another location.
Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms, great value Small rooms
The bed was comfortable. The staff came into my room although I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on. My things were moved and my trash was not emptied, even though it was full, and they seemingly only cleaned the toilet and may have vac the room. "Do Not Disturb" should mean "Do not come in" from my perspective. The TV was extremely outdated and the picture was warped. The room was 87 degrees when I arrived (in late October) and the wall air conditioning unit barely cooled the room to 75 by morning.
The staff was friendly, and it was close to the highway and affordable. Our exterior door didn't close, which was a massive problem given the sub zero temps outside. Everything just felt a little dingy on top of that.
Felt comfortable like staying with friends. Huge rooms. Very friendly staff.
Clean, convenient to Hanover and Dartmouth at a fraction of the cost of the other hotels. Ample parking. Easy to find. Wifi is good. Refrigerator and microwave in room. The hotel is clean but badly in need of remodeling. At least a paint job, but pretty much every surface needs a new coat. Desk chair had jagged edges. Breakfast options are severely limited.
We were there for a medical procedure it's convenient and close to the hospital. The hotel staff was good . Large room with a couch and chair for sitting
Very pleasant staff. Good location. Decent " Continental " breakfast. Nice lobby. Tired old motel. ( king ) Bed quality borderline; other furniture worn out / threadbare. Needs full rehab or wrecking ball.
It was fine for what we needed -- an overnight stay before an early bus to New York City. The room was clean and the staff pleasant. I left a scarf there and was able to pick it up on our return trip. A bit pricey for such a basic hotel.
The room was clean and a good standard. We stay at RI a lot and the breakfast wasn't as nice as usual. At checkin our keypasses didn't program and the checkin person felt he had to test it rather than just fix it by giving us newly programmed passes. This caused a lot of unnecessary back and forth to the back door and I found it awkward. We missed having a pool in the hotel. Maybe there is space for just a hot tub?
The owner was friendly and the location was convenient. I was visiting family in Bradford, VT for the holidays and the B&B was about 15 mins from their house. There is a great diner in Fairlee that is close by also, and the location is very close to 91. The heater in my room was a bit loud, but the room was very comfortable and I barely noticed the noise.
Very hospitable and welcoming. Room and bath were quite satisfactory as was the morning breakfast. Convenient and good restaurant just 2 doorways away. No
Do not consider coffee and a grocery store cinnamon roll to be breakfast. Sink was in the bedroom. Toilet was VERY low to the floor. One small fan very HOT room. Thin towels.
Friendly host Breakfast was not very good - advertised as having homebaked bread but it was store-bought and not very good quality. No fruit.
Owner was friendly and engaging, but too cheap to keep his heat on. The doors to the outside would not close or lock due to foundation shift or moisture. This place should not be open in colder months if owner doesn't want to heat it. It was cold upon entry, the room was cold and there was no room key, just lock it when you go to bed. The only TV was a 15 inch standard def one in the lobby area.
