Pros: My favorite place we stayed during a 2 week road trip. Beautiful quiet area, cute little private cabin with kitchenette. We loved the hot tub on the front porch which was perfect because the weather was cold.
Cons: Don't use GPS to find the place you will get lost. Turn onto Yale-Kilgore Rd from Rt 20. Old Shotgun Rd will be on your left, right after a confusingly worded blue sign about Eagle Ridge Ranch. The ranch will be about 2 miles down the gravel road.
Pros: It was in a beautiful location. There were lots of things to do. We took one of their rowboats and fished off of the floating dock. Caught some nice rainbow trout. The hot tub on the deck of our cabin was great! Really clean. Just a lovely place.
Pros: Very nice area to take a family if you want to get away from it all.
Cons: Unfortunately we did not have a family and it was too far on dirt roads for us.
Pros: Wonderful place to stay. Cabin was lovely with everything that you could want. The hot tub was a great bonus. Quite a drive to Yellowstone but worth it to stay in such a great place.
Cons: Nothing. It was great
Pros: The best part was the private hot tub on the porch! We also loved having a kitchenette and a grill outside. Since there are not many restaurants and such nearby, it was nice to be able to cook quick meals.
Cons: Absolutely not! It was perfect!
Pros: Hot tub; big room; can see coyote; great environment;.
Cons: Hard to get; the road is not easy to get through.
Would recommend the Eagle Ridge Ranch to anyone visiting the Island Park area. They offer horseback riding, canoeing and fishing on site. Great cabins! We hope to return with our family next time.
Pros: Nice cabin in a secluded area not too far from Yellowstone or gas/groceries. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Two nights was too short!
The ranch had lots of activities available, we only wish we had more time there to experience the activities. I loved the cabin and its amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and did all she could to make our stay the best. We traveled all over on our vacation and this was by far our favorite.
Pros: Loved this stop in our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was extremely friendly and helped make sure our stay was as best as could be. The cabin was very clean, and the hot tub was a very welcomed bonus after our travels
Cons: We were able spend much time at the cabin, but based on what we experienced there wasn't anything we would change.
Pros: My kids enjoyed looking at the horses and my son caught 5 fish in the catch and release pond so he was very happy. Even though they were totally booked for the night we stayed we had lots of privacy and no issues with noise.
There was a fire pit if we wanted to use it. The cabin itself was so clean and done up very well. It was a real log cabin. Looked just like the pictures and was very high quality everything. The bed was made out of logs. The sheets and towels were very clean and white. The bed was SUPER comfortable. There was no air conditioning in the room, but we didn't need it anyway, but there is heat (which we accidentally turned on thinking it was the air.) The owner was so friendly and down to earth. He told us all the things we could do on the ranch was was included in our room price; horseback riding, paddle boating, basketball, etc. Very hospitable. Absolutely LOVED this place and would come again in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone who wants to be in a secluded place with high quality conditions.
Pros: Absolutely loved this place! Wished we had stayed for more than one night. There is so much I loved about this place! Our cabin at a hot tub on the porch. We were back in the woods in a private area. No one was staying in the cabin next to us.
Cons: It was a 30 minute drive once you got out of the West entrance at Yellowstone. But for the price and all the excellent qualities of this place, it was WELL worth it!
When visiting Island Park, Eagle Ridge Ranch is a great choice to consider. Guests can enjoy the spa tub, along with onsite hiking/biking trails, horse riding/rentals, and rowing/canoeing. All rooms feature patios and living rooms.
Pros: The 3 best things about this Hotel was the Location, The Price and the Bed. The bed and pillows were better then other higher star hotels that I have stayed at. I also liked the rustic design and decorations
Cons: Bathroom and the size of the room was small
Pros: The location is very suitable being just 5 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. it was very clean and staff was very friendly.
Cons: There was not a single drawer in the room or bathroom to put the stuff. The AC was portable LG brand, which was very noisy. The sink in the bathroom was without countertop and it was hard to put toothbrush and shaving stuff. There was no coffee maker.
Pros: Very clean and staff was very friendly. Close to the west gate to Yellowstone and an easy walk all over West Yellowstone.
Pros: It was cozy. LP
Cons: Parking was tight.
Pros: Closure to yellowstone NP
Cons: No breakfast

Cons: For the amount spent for each night it would've been nice to have more selections for breakfast. We knew beforehand that it was a limited selection so we were prepared with other snacks we brought. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!
Pros: The hotel had air conditioning.
Cons: It look at least five attempts to open the room with the card key.

aside from the friendly staff, I would have to say that this place was the best place that I stayed during my 9-10 day vacation. It even beat out my stay at the---- Lodge in Jackson, WY. It was very clean, quiet and tranquil. I'm definitely going to come back!
Pros: I liked the 'off the beaten path' character plus the staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay.
Cons: Everything surpassed my expectations.

Pros: Great location. Walking distance to everything in West Yellowstone. The Slippery Otter was only steps away. Cleaner than most hotels. I cleaned professionally for years and can always find some things that are skipped but for the time frame the maids have it was really good.
Cons: Our room was on the small side. It's a little noisy bc of the location and the floors were thin. Could hear people walkin above you but overall totally worth staying here and would again.
Pros: Comp breakfast
Cons: Cleanliness, price
Pros: The beds were comfortable the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly
Pros: Centrally located, close to the park. Knowledgeable & friendly staff.
Pros: Decent breakfast. Room clean.
Cons: Teens snuck into pool area and consumed the hottub from the back door. Had to have a single key to get in front to open the back, so someone from the staff provided it.

Cons: Nothing. Great place. Also it was genius to have a state of the art gaming room for kids. 💙
Pros: Appeared to be the nicest one in West Yellowstone.
Pros: Conveniently located. Many entrances. The room was spacious.
Cons: The noise level was unexpected. You can hear any movement of others in the rooms nearby and all noise from the hallway. Made it hard to sleep. Maintenance decided to clean the pool and hot tub on Monday morning, during prime time for use. Disappointing.

Pros: The tent was spacious and comfortable and I felt like I was part of the outdoors.
Cons: The exterior lighting at the bathroom was awful -- bright bluish light that intruded on most of the tents. Also, the lanterns provided for walking to the bathrooms were way too bright and lit up all the tents every time someone walked by. You should just provide small flashlights instead.
Pros: Being secluded in the country, far away from any city noise. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets for the cold night.
Cons: People in the neighboring tents were noisy. We tried to go to sleep by 10pm after a long day at Yellowstone and a planned early morning so that we could see more wildlife. There were no limits on time that people could make noise. The staff allowed customers to check in late at night (10:30pm) which conflicted with our sleep schedule. The staff would drive their cart through the camp at all hours which added to the noise. The bathroom doors need fixing because they are easily opened even when locked. Someone walked in on my daughter as she exited the shower even though the door was locked and the light and fan were on. I would not let me kids go to the bathroom by themselves after that.
Cons: No wood stove in our tent
Pros: It was a fun idea and they responded quickly to problems.
Cons: The attached bathroom was a bit of a joke, it seemed like the sewage pipe didn't have the proper slope so stuff hung around and smelled when using the toilet. Navy showers also leave a bit to be desired on a cold morning.

Pros: Great location close to all restaurants and shops. Comfortable bed and good shower.
Cons: Walls were quite thin and heard a bit of noise but other than that it was a comfortable stay.

Pros: Room had a cabin feel on the inside, a crap motel on the outside. Staff was young, hep and very nice. Wanted to ask them if they were being held there against their will ... 'Blink three times if you need help '. West Yellowstone is the Tijuana of the park...avoid it. Go to Jackson instead and actually enjoy your vacation. Yellowstone NP was awesome.
Cons: Paper thin walls. Cramped. Rip off prices, even though it was probably one of the cheapest places in town. I guess I got what I paid for. Will NOT stay there again. Maybe I should have pitched a tent.
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Very small unit. Spartan. Bathroom was walk in-back out.

Pros: Location is great. Just next to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The shower room is clean and the room is nice. The room has a faucet itself so that you can brush your teeth in your room. The drinks and coffee available all the time were very nice.
Cons: We were given a room next to the second-level porch and it's right above the cashier desk of the store downstairs. It's noisy. The room could be a little bigger.
Pros: This was a fantastic find - good value for money. Campsites in park were full, and this was the next best thing. My fist time staying in a hostel, and I loved it. Clean, relaxed, and comfortable.
Cons: You could hear everything in the rooms next to you, so it could be a little hard if you are a light sleeper.
