10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and owners!!! Same from year to year, feels like family. Look forward to seeing everyone and catching up. Very clean family oriented place to stay that's close to all of your basic amenities. If you want to take a vacation and stay somewhere that makes you feel at home, then this is the place. You can bring your kids or even bring your dogs, they're welcome here to! Friendly motel owner and staff, friendly town. Best place to stay!!!
Cons: We loved everything!!!!! Nothing there not to like.
6.0 Good
Cons: The door to the room had large crack in it. Cold air coming in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Convenient to everywhere
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice but needs more water pressure. Room beautiful. Maggie Valley not much to do. The room was actually the high point of our stay.
Cons: All good
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is very convenient to groceries, restaurants, coffee cafe, etc. The staff was super friendly and efficient. The room was very clean. The room amenities were a nice touch for being a smaller place (10 rooms total I believe): single cup coffeemaker with gourmet pods, a bag of popcorn for the microwave in room, a mini-fridge, limited cable TV, heat lamps in the bathroom on a timer, and bottled water. Across from the rooms is a little garden area with hammocks, a large shade tree, and a fire pit. Dogs and children are welcome.
Cons: The heat/air wall unit had a little bit of rattling occasionally and it sounded like something small maybe had fallen loose and was rattling inside? It wasn't constant and it sounded a little like rain coming down so it was workable. The small gap under the room entrance door could use an draft piece attached to keep more cold air out.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Owners were welcoming and just like family. Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Superb staff. Bed was extremely comfortable. Love the fact it is small and quaint. Check in/out easy. Highly recommend.
Cons: Our hot water was limited. Other than that, no other complaints.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Homey feel from the ladies who own it. Motorcycle crowd seemed to like it. Only 10 rooms total, so no big crowds.
Cons: My reason for going was to play poker in Cherokee and it was a little too long a drive for my liking. Not the hotels fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very homey feeling and Carley the cat!
Cons: Nothing I didn't like, but I would say the hot water should be fixed so that it works better. It takes a loooong time to get it hot. Thanks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Very friendly and homey. They have a bonfire at night. Lots of hammocks chairs and grills. And even told us to get any drinks we wanted out of their refrigerator. The beds were very comfy and it was beautifully arranged. Did not want to leave
Cons: No

9.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean and recently remodeled. The staff was very friendly!
Cons: The breakfast area was too small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay!
7.0 Good
Pros: Location in Maggie valley is great and very convenient to get to the Smoky Mountains Park. Breakfast has a lot of options, including hot food such as eggs and sausages and bacon etc. Some staff were nice and friendly. Never had an issue finding a parking spot close to our room.
Cons: Room could have been cleaner - when I am not staying at a roadside motel for $60, I expect my hotel rooms to be "spic and span" and this one was not especially in the bathroom area. This is common to hotels in this price range but: the A/C blasts hot air so one faces a dilemma of being cold in the winter months or struggling to sleep with the noise and waking up with a dry face.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff sent us around to other properties until we ended up back at this place. No receipts available - smoking all around the room Disgusting

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location!! And so easy getting checked in and out!! Cute cabin! And loved hearing the Creek from our front porch!
Cons: The furniture in the living was so uncomfortable that we didn’t want to hang around the cabin at all. The bed pillows need to be replaced. And the shower wouldn’t drain so you were standing in 4 inches of water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The location was perfect!
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet, bed was comfortable and morning breakfast was awesome.
Cons: Had no problems...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the layout of the cabin. It was very comfortable. Easy self check in. Everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Cons: This cabin was evidently pet friendly. We didn’t realize that before our booking. While the cabin was very clean, the smell of dog was very noticeable.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was very good for the agenda we had. Easy access in and out of the Smokey Mountain National Park without a lot of gridlocked traffic.
Cons: The heater wasn’t working properly. When we returned around 6:30pm from a long day the temp in the cabin was in the fifties. I left a message for the host but she must have been out because I did not here back. I turned off the furnace for a while and back on later and the temp came up to the thermostat setting, but after a few cycles, it stopped working again. This continued throughout the night and I had to get up several times to restart the furnace. Luckily there were plenty of covers and blankets to keep us warm between resets. We left early in the morning, so I never got the chance to speak with anyone.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Quiet and generally things worked.
Cons: Very cramped bedroom and bathroom. Bed dipped in the middle and was uncomfortable. Settees were very uncomfortable too and we both had sore backs by the end of our stay. Basic cooking utensils.

Pros: The entire suite was very very nice. The bed was great, very comfortable
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy parking. Right on the main strip of town. The views were wonderful view of the mountains. Convenient to many places in town. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Good location, receptionist was pleasant, breakfast was available before 7am
Cons: Very thin walls, I could hear the shower running next door. The air conditioner needs to have its filter changed as my throat was very itchy the next morning, and there were lights out in the bathroom. The toilet didn't flush properly and kept running-the cleaning crew should have identified the light and toilet problem on the previous cleaning. These are all not real issues, but with a price of $145.00 I expect better.

6.0 Good
Pros: Value.
Cons: Took up to 15 minutes to get hot water. Could barely hear the TV. It was set to where the volume could only go so high. No body wash or soap in shower. Otherwise it was ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: owner was great was a slight problem with our room when we checked in an he put us in a different upgraded room with no extra charge which was great ,everyone there was very friendly ,room was clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING! The people, room decoration, outside view from the window, the Friday night get-together with the chili meal, the mountain stream rushing in the background making for a peaceful time day or night. But what I enjoyed most was the people: the manager, the check-in/out staff, and especially the young ladies who cleaned the rooms. The entire staff was awesome and made us want to go back for another visit.
Cons: There was nothing that I specifically disliked, but I will say the mattresses on the beds need to be replaced with more comfortable mattresses.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: the price was cheaper than other places.
Cons: They had Karaoke night and was told it would finish around 11;00 pm, but it went on until 1:30 am and was very annoying for people who wants to sleep. I found a cockroach in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was close to the casino in Cherokee, 25 minute drive. The drive was beautiful with all the trees changing for fall. The place was quiet and clean for an older motel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything. I will be staying here whenever I visit the casino, pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. This is one of the best and friendliest places I have stayed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean with great staff.
Cons: The room was a little damp feeling. Smelled like mildew, other than that it was great.
6.0 Good
Cons: Original room smelled awful, but the staff easily switched me to a better one.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has been renovated recently and it has been done relatively well. This is probably the nicest hotel in Maggie Valley and priced well. Check in was easy and the front desk was very helpful. Bathroom was clean and nicely remodelled and had good water pressure. Breakfast was fairly standard fare, but well done.
Cons: The hot water takes a LONG time to get hot. The hair dryer in our room didn't work (which the front desk addressed quickly). The rooms are a little on the small side and some of the fixtures should have been replaced from the remodel (i.e. rusty spotted toilet paper holder and towel rack).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is very well kept
7.0 Good
Pros: Easy access to rooms,. Window seat was nice and bright.
3.0 Mediocre

5.0 Okay
Cons: It could use a COMPLETE REMODEL. Carpet in hall ways were actually wore out. You could see tread in it in stead of the carpet. The price I was charged at the desk was about $1.50 more than was stated on line. Not much but it adds up. My door lock card had to be changed out on the second night. The first night it took both of them to get me in the few times I went out.

Pros: Location
Cons: Needs updating, carpet worn, paint missing from doors Not a good value for price
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stay here each year during the C-10 expo and love the people and the confront of the hotel.

Pros: The employees were nice. Easy check in.
Cons: The building is showing its age and is in need of many updates. Shower head is way to low for average height people. Floor is very unlevel under carpeting. Furnishings are outdated. Few electrical outlets. The chairs were not comfortable if you needed to spend any time in the room. They leave the bare necessities as far as towels and blankets. Glad I brought my own blanket because I didn’t feel comfortable using what was provided. This motel could be turned into something wonderful if the owners would spend the money to update the rooms.

Pros: Location was good. It was what I expected for the price. We just needed a bed after skiing.
Cons: The bathroom door did not latch. The toilet paper holder was broken. The hairdryer would not stay running. It would turn off after one minutes use. I did not expect perfection for the price. Got what I paid for.
