Location, parking available, breakfast, the swimming pool, shower,
Paying extra for the safe, check in desk waiting time, bathroom essentials where not replaced when they came to clean the room.
The room we got was lovely and we did get a room with a view of the sea.
The hotel has been done up and was lovely didn't think the staff liked the British very much though. You couldn't fault the hotel it was clean and the food was excellent, it was just the staff some of them didn't seem very friendly especially one of the main bar staff an (older guy) not at all very nice. They are short staffed at the bar they need to either do waiter service or let you go direct to get served at the bar. Think you should get meals on your last day if you missed all the meals on the first day, we only arrived late so didn't get breakfast, lunch or tea.
Some of the staff were very friendly - others not so much. The only redeeming factor is the natural sights in the area are incredible.
This property made all kinds of promises it couldn't fulfil. It promised a great location - in fact the town of S'illot is very grungy and quite unattractive. The hotel itself claims to be all inclusive but they charge you extra FOR EVERYTHING - even the room safe which is included as an amenity, you have to pay to get a key!!! And you pay extra for beach towels, and to book a pool lounger and it just keeps adding up. The free toiletries include the world's tiniest soap and the cushions on our bed were dirty!! It seems to me this is a 3 star hotel pretending to be something more and it just doesn't deliver. Lastly if you are looking for healthy food - good luck finding some here....
The building was new, near to a decent beach. The sky bar is a good addition with a nice view on to beach. Good parking facilities nearby. Near to dragon caves.
1. Even though the building is new and appears clean, the quality of comfort is missing. 2. The hotel management doesn't trust their customer feedback. We had bad smell in our room. They demanded 40€ for making a switch to a different room. After complaining and begging multiple times over two days and very unpleasant discussion to convince the hotel manager that the smell is not bearable, we were given a different room. 3. The walls and doors of the hotel room are so thin that I was wondering how my girl friend is able to speak Spanish. Turned out to be sound of neighbours. There was constant noise from all adjoining rooms as well as from the trucks which supply the hotel. 4. No drinks available in the mini bar in the room. 5. Although the location is next to beach, the neighbourhood didn't have the quality of restaurants or hangouts which are common in Cala Ratjada. We went to Cala Ratjada every day and evening to enjoy our vacation. 6. We booked half board meals in our booking. We were utterly dismayed and disappointed at the quality of the food. Even though the variety on offer was huge, most of the food appeared to be of cheapest quality which we would consider to eat on our vacation. The food offer is purely based in its worst sense of mass tourism. We ate outside after our first day there. The reviews about food here are misleading. 7. We had the feeling that we had to pay for every little thing to feel any kind of comfort here. For example : they charge you 8 € per week ( 1-7 days) for 2 small beach towels. They didn't have any sun umbrellas on offer for customers. All in all this was in no way service of a 4-Star hotel. We were left disappointed for booking this hotel and were happy to check out and go to our next hotel.
The location of hotel is really good. Directly near the beach and some restaurants around it.
Chaise longues are not free on the beach. I wished the hotel arrange some of them for their guests. And also it is really expensive. 12 € / day..
