Sport facilities Various activities for young and old There was allways a place at the swimming pool
Very good! I can definetly think of coming again to this hotel! We are three persons (two adults and a child, 10 yrs) staying in the same apartment. There was however no possibility to get three balcony chairs, three glasses to the bathroom etc. This I find unacceptable in a four star-hotel! I have never during our last 10 years of travelling together as a 3 person family had any trouble with that anywhere else in any other hotel in Spain or other European countries. We have made about 15 journeys during that time. I wonder if this could be changed until next time? Thank you!
Hotel location,comfort none
Room, view from balcony, jacuzi
The apartment was good, the pool area was good and the location was also good. The hotel staff was bad, they did not speak english and to be truthfull they were lazy and not serviceminded at all...
Nice location in the middle of Porto Cristo very close to the water. Great balcony with a beautiful view of the harbor and a small beach. A wellcleaned room with goodworking aircondition and decent amount of TV-channels including eurosport. Helpful and friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet included. Rather small room and no outdoors pool.
location and cleanliness no tea making facilities in bedrooms,no iron or ironing boards .no money exchange.no wine coolers for your wine with your evening meal , not disabled frirndly i.e. no ramps to access the hotel ,bar closes at midnight or before (even on the night spain won the world cup!!!!!!!)
Staff was very nice and friendly, good comfort in the bedrooms (maybe the double used as single was a bit too small even for one). Close to everything you need in Portocristo.
Hotel staff was nice and polite. Hotel was clean and everyday cleaning was proper. Variety of food. Breakfast Champagne every morning including. Nice location. We recommend spa and specially massage.
The staff was friendly, the location was excellent, the room was a very good size and had a nice balcony overlooking the harbor. There was a nice flat panel screen in the room, there was a big breakfast included with the stay. The internet service is very expensive and should be included free. There was no room service option available -- they had a dining room but we wanted to be able to eat on our balcony overlooking the harbor, but couldn't. Room service is slow... we asked for extra towels which didn't come for about half an hour. And the only English TV channel was BBC news.
Very good location, friendly and helpful reception staff. The food was rather unimaginative and served in a slightly school dinner environment
the central location, the sea front view while sitting at the outside tables. The polite bar staff. the lack of atmosphere in the bar and the fact that even though they listed Irish Coffee on the drinks menu they would not make us one at about 10.30 because the coffee machine was shut down.
Staff, food and value for money Parking may be an issue during peak season. Bath enamel was chipped
Nice staff, but small dark rooms (because decorated in dark wood), and senility of hotel (age more then 120 years!) is feeling despite of reconstruction. I guess, not more then 2,5-3 stars. very friendly!
location receptionist (magdalena, although manolo was very good), spa only open 11-18 (closed all monday), avg quality of meals, poor bathrooms. wouldn't classify it as 4* hotel.
The hotel was absolutly amazing, very pretty, very clean, lovely meals and view from the balcony to die for! Friendliness and helpfulness of staff exeeded our expectations. Our room was a bit small, I'd love to have some more space, but its funcionality (and big balcony!) made up for it.

Yes,I had my purse taken from the hotel room and as there was no sign of a break-in I can only assume it was a member of staff who was sent to fix the wardrobe door, where my purse was.£1,000 was run up on my credit card and £200. cash was taken. Instead of being helpful the hotel manager tried to suggest I had lost it outside and basically took no responsibility for the theft.
The buffet was excellent quality, however it was not replenished often enough and many dishes were often empty. The carvery meat ran out at 8.15 pm and dinner is served until 10 pm. Also there are not enough sun beds round the pool.
Located nearby a protected nature area and besides a prehistoric site; very quiet location near the sea. The hotel is renovated and very beautiful. Breakfast is very abundant and various. Staff members are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean. The outer pool is very enjoyable. Only few rooms have straight sea sight; the inner pool is very small (about 5 meter long) and is more a enhanced jacuzzi than a real pool. The quality of the breakfast food is good but "industrial".
Position Food at times not the best
We enjoyed the personalised, helpful and friendly service, tranquil surroundings and the yummy breakfast.
Very quiet with great views. Just what was wanted and with a car, easy access to many places along the East coast. I liked the personal terrace attached to the room.
The location was superb although difficult to find and we were very well looked after. Just one comment is that bearing in mind the remote location of the accommodation, it would be helpful if other food could be offered in addition to breakfast (which was excellent)
