Dirty. Run down. Scruffy. Breakfast was continental but you have to sit in the hall to eat it!!
The room was comfortable and the bed lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic but perfect for me and I could take it to my room as well.
the bathroom needs a little repair but this was the only issue with it.
I was charged twice for my stay (an additional £200). 18 days later, I am still waiting for my refund and the way the staff have dealt with me is nothing short of a disgrace. I've been lied to, avoided and the way the landlady spoke to me when I intially raised the issue was atrocious. I quote, "It's not my problem, it's booking.com's. Take it up with them." She later realised that it WAS her fault and said that another employee knew how to process the refund. 18 days and several phonecalls later, I still do not have my money. I went to my bank and they said there is no trace of a refund and advised me to raise a visa dispute - yet more time wasted. Absolutely terrible!
It's located right in front of the train station, which is nice.
Water in the shower was scalding hot with no option of turning it down. Wifi was so slow that it took me 4 minutes to just load google maps - forget bout youtube here. Breakfast is just disappointing More importantly, my flight got delayed so I've arrived after 22 and since I didn't call them to warn that I'll be later the hotel was closed - nobody picked up the phone or opened the door after me standing there and banging at the door and ringing the bell for 40 minutes. So I ended up walking around Manchester past midnight for another place to stay. Moreover in comparison I've realized for the same amount of money you can get a proper hotel with clean nice rooms If you have other options - go with them, if not, make sure that you come on time to avoid sleeping on the street
Bedroom was excellent breakfast was great plenty to choose from and the bathroom was also excellent and the staff were very helpful.
Nothing,everything was great.
