managed to get room with only few people for very reasonable price. Was much more quiet than I expected so managed to get good sleep.
Furniture was quite old. The shared bathroom was extremely tiny. Not much space for storing your things for the upper bunk bed: phone and charger is the max that you can take there, rest of my stuff I had to keep in a closed shelf for which I didn't have a key. Staff weren't friendly at all, that must be the most disappointing part of the experience.
The YHA is probably the nicest hostel I've stayed in. The atmosphere is really great, the downstairs foyer/lounge is very comfortable and the wifi is good. The rooms are nice and clean with everything you would expect from a hostel.
The location is good.the possibilty for catering was also a genuine idea.the staff at the reception were friendly and Smiley.
I paid 105 for three nights 35 pounds per night Although i booked four months earlier.while my roommate sharing the same room paid 12 pounds booking two nights before .i don't think it's fair or logical.no excuse is accepted.we received the same service but i paid three times per night compared to my roommate.
The rooms were comfortable and it was great to have a restroom with the bedroom. Check out was very easy and quick. Staff was friendly. Beds comfortable.
Would have liked a little more privacy in the toilet as I couldn't feel I could do my business with the door being wood.
This is my second time here and the experience both times has been perfect. In fact, I've booked to start coming once a week in my commuting to work into Manchester on Wednesdays, so do not book Wednesdays :D Great place, great vibe, great -and really friendly and professional- staff!
