The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable.
Decent budget option
Pool was closed although heated pool advertised.
The location and the view..
The heater did not work properly.
Friendly staff. Good location. Breakfast had options.
Only one waffle iron.
I love the classic motor lodge feel
It was charming. Spacious. Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and there was breakfast! And pet friendly!
Not much room for walking the dog
good staff, nice location, big room , breakfast opens early and closes late
location and staff was friendly. Good continental breakfast
The bed was 1 step better than sleeping on the ground. We had to get up 7-8 times for each of the nights we stayed there because bed was so bad. Electrical outlet was hanging from the wall. No stopper for the bath tub.Staff was friendly.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean.
Dated but very clean. There was no phone or clock in the room upon check in but they had apparently been stolen by previous guest. Staff immediately located replacements. Parking was scarce..
Loved the staff! Friendly, cheerful, helpful and great to work with! Good location. Nice breakfast. Price was right.
1st room had a strong deordrizer smell. 2nd room nice. Deadbolt replaced crooked& wouldn't lock but we got along fine.
Funky atmosphere. Views. Early breakfast for marathoners.
TV very limited.
Breakfast, friendly, easy checkin/out, price, hot showers, in rm coffee, daily maid service
Typical 2 star but they fixed the things I asked them to fix like mildewed shower curtain, rm freshener (since someone had smoked in it).
small tub in room, small room too.

Clean. Front desk friendly.
Low amenities for price charged.
Family owned and opporated. Great staff.
This motels maintainance is in serious neglect. I don't think the stairs up to the second floor would meet todays codes. Our room had very obviously been broken into recently and the door was not repaired properly and could have simply been pushed open.
Location was excellent.
Common areas flooded.
Had to reschedule for August because something big came up. Only I wasn't allowed to reschedule. So I lost my money. Horrible business practice.
The view was amazing and it was incredibly close to our destination, Garden of the Gods. The bathroom was also very clean.
The room was rather small, the 'head board' was a placard balanced on a board by blocks on the back. The bedding wasn't the cleanest either, there weren't any stains but just lint and stuff.
Location, beautiful views of pikes peak and garden of the gods
Pool was not heated, had to pay $20 extra a night for a room with 2 beds
Very nice breakfast selection
We were charged an additional $20.00 for two beds, and our room smelled. In addition the bathroom did not have a vent fan, so it was rather unpleasant to be in the room.
Location, pool, friendliness, clean
I liked everything.
great location for sight seeing!
Rooms were a little run down and disorganized, first room had guests already in it, second knackered door and the third AC unit mounted high up on a wall needing a step ladder to adjust temp. To be fair the new owner had only been there a week or so.
I really liked how close it was to Garden of the Gods.
They didn't have any towels for me when I entered the room. The people on either side of me were smoking all the time. and they said they internet when they really didn't. And their channels were a total of 10. And very poorly selected.
It was big and quiet
The beds were the worst I ever slept in. They gave us two towels the coffee was decaf, the front desk guy was rude and seemed annoyed. I won't stay there again.
Had a refrigerator.
Had a few spiders crawling around. Microwave didn't work.
Location was good.
Wi-fi was horrible. Must be within 20 ft. of the main office to get a signal or connection. Motel is old and dated, bed wasn't comfortable because it had minimal padding, small rooms, no microwave in our room even though it's advertised to have one.
I checked out 5 mins after seeing my room, despite the fact that we had booked and prepaid for 3 days. I did this because I did not feel safe in the room--it was tiny, dingy, and creepy. I saw a spider on the ceiling and hairs on the worn-out bed linens.
The location and the breakfast room were nice.
The air conditioner was on the wall above the vanity. I had to climb on a ladder to turn it on. I am 73 years old and this was nerve wracking. The deadbolt didn't work and the ice machine was in a basement at the end of a hallway.
Room was dingy, especially the carpet and bedspread. The tv was old. The paint on trim and walls was messy. The bathroom fan didn't work .
