Pros: The staff is very friendly, funny, and helpful.
Pros: Martha and Gordon, owners, were the best. They anticipated all questions we had about the place, gave us good recommendations for restaurants, and to top it all off they offer access to their kayaks and gave us all a good review of safety and equipment use before we set out. It was a high point of our trip. Thanks so much for your hospitality. You made us feel so welcome!
Pros: Absolutely loved this place! The view across the bay is gorgeous. The rooms are full of character and spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. So many extra nice touches, such as lots of games you could borrow (great for entertaining kids!), DVD’s to borrow, free snacks, good coffee. Loved sitting by the dock watching all the different bird species in the evening.
Cons: We only had one day there!
Pros: Lots of little extras.
Cons: Old, hard matresses.
Pros: Customer service. Management were extremely helpful. We left a bag in a restaurant and they managed to track down staff and retrieve the bag even though it was early Sunday morning
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: Ran out of toilet paper and the office was still closed at 7:30 am so we did without. No spares in the room.
Pros: There was plenty of media to use for overnight viewing. We were able to borrow any DVDs for in room service. The were games to use as well to play as a family. The room was comfortable. Because of the length of our stay we were able to use the kayak equipment at our leisure. There are seals, elk, hummingbirds and blue heron to keep you company. The dockside lounging was very scenic and comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay again at this location if in this area. Wheeler on the bay was a memorable experience for our family.
Cons: The dining in this area is limited.
Pros: It was so peaceful and the view was amazing!
Pros: Liked that breakfast was included and snacks too! Cute room and nice and quiet.
Pros: The staff was outstanding location was great.

Pros: We loved the beach location. Great view of setting sun. It has a small, but nice pool. Can walk to restaurants.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Pros: Amazing location. Most rooms look directly over ocean. Lovely beach & town. Generous sized rooms. Separate bedroom in our suite,
Cons: To enjoy the view, privacy somewhat sacrificed! Glass walls with corridor at front rather than back of room
Pros: Absolutely amazing spot, right on the most beautiful beach. Manzanita town is really lovely too. Large, clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Stunning views.
Cons: Small bathroom for a two room suite.
Pros: Location is perfect! I love staying here with grandkids!!
Pros: The view was wonderful.
Cons: The hotel was not clean, had a strong smell of cigarettes (non smoking room), the air conditioner was old and in disrepair and would not work. All but two staff we interacted with were barely professional and not pleasant.
Pros: Great location. Right on the beach. Never had to use our car. Quiet. Close to everything.
Cons: gave us a crummy room with no view of ocean, had to go and ask for room with ocean view as was reservated.
Pros: It's a cosy comfortable atmosphere where, it seems, other guests like to return each year. The motel faces across a quiet road to beach with unobstructed views of the sea but is a short walk to the busy streets & Sandunes Pub with good grub, .
Pros: The view
Pros: The view!!! The rooms with balcony are an incredible value. Anywhere else would cost much more m the rooms were very spacious and the kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies/utensils.
Cons: It was a little dated- could use new paint and updated fixtures. The cleaner smell was overpowering like it was hiding something.
