Pros: Nice area to stay. 1 minute from the beach and lovely tavernas
Pros: Very beautuful garden and the view from the balcony!!!
Pros: Remarkable large green territory, very close to the beach, terrace with sea/pines view, hospitable hosts, pleasant barbecue area, large size apartment, large free parking area
Cons: Old fashion style interiors, it was not possible to use the barbecue due to the strong wind in the area (I was allowed to use it once in 7 days of our stay), wifi is available only on the first floor opposite reception
Pros: Very friendly and flexible personel. We arrived already early morning and even check in time was 2pm -> we got room already 6 am without extra costs
Cons: Nearest beach is a bit rocky. Not good for kids
Pros: This place has amazing garden with lights (at evening it looked very nicely), including separate seats places (each place is for 4-7 people) for lunches, barbecue or rest time. The beach is right behind the garden, from hotel (from appartment) to the beach it is about 3 min way cross this garden. Appartment has all what you need for ideal vacation, including aircondition. Range of wifi is only in hall (tip for owner: in case that wifi will be availabe from rooms you will eliminate seated kids in hallway and also your services will be on top level). The sea is clean and warm and wind (from breeze to gusty wind) makes sometimes nice waves. Very nice place with good services directly in hotel and also good services are available near the hotel.
Cons: Wifi is available only from hallway.
Pros: Location was excellent. Beautiful gardens.
Cons: No internet in room, only in the foyer. Needs parking.
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff, always there when you need something. Apartment is well equipped, clean. Beautiful garden. There are many nice beaches in walking distance.
Pros: Nice and large apartments, close to the beach (practically on the beach) and close to a lot of tavernas. Friendly faces, helpful people.
Pros: Perfect location - right next to the beach and waterfront promenade, set in an amazing garden. The view from the balcony into the garden was beautiful! The owner was very helpful.
Cons: The equipment was old and run down. The beds and sofa are old and uncomfortable.
With a stay at Thomas Beach Hotel in Marathon, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Rafina Port and Marathon Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Thomas Beach Hotel was nice, people who work there were really nice and polite. Breakfast was good. Hotel was peaceful and pool area was good. We really liked this place and recommend it.
Pros: Warm water in the swimming pool. Very good breakfast but same each day :-( Hotel provides sunbeds free of charge but you have to carry them yourself to the beach. The beach however is very close and can be used for free.
Cons: Uncomfortable beds. Towels not very clean. Rooms not sound-proofed, so it feels like you're all time on the corridor.
Pros: This was our second trip to the Thomas Beach to visit a friend who lives in Nea Makri. Our last stay was 5 years ago and whilst we enjoyed our stay then, the refurbished room was a pleasant improvement. The buffet breakfasts had a good choice of hot & cold food. All the staff were lovely and remembered us from our last visit and made us very welcome.
Cons: Think maybe the fridge in our room may have been faulty as it froze everything we put in there, but wasn’t a deal breaker
Pros: It was close to shops restaurants and the beach
Cons: Great service, helpful staff
Pros: Garden and common space were nice. Breakfast was pretty good, but full of sugar. The floor of the balcony was beautiful.
Cons: Awkward interior with lack of functionality and bad materials. A bathroom door wrongly assembled and wood on roughly plastered concrete make no sense. Also, the floor is bumpy and seems to be assampled by a 10-year-old. The name BEACH HOTEL is misleading and refers to a beach 100-200 meters from the hotel, blocked by two roads, and apartment block and numerous restaurants. We stayed on the third floor and couldn't see the beach.
Pros: Very friendly stuff. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. It is very close to the beach.
Pros: Only had a brief overnight stay here having arrived at 3am. Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Room was comfortable and they arranged a taxi to take us to the airport.
Pros: The staff was friendly. Location was good and close to the beach and city centre.
Cons: Kids didn't like the breakfast so much. All in all, the hotel provided all the basics you might need. This is not a hotel for people seaching luxus.
Pros: Thomas Beach Hotel staff were fantastic very friendly, offered suggestion to see the monastery for a break from the beach. The breakfast was super huge variety- omlettes, bacon, fried eggs, cheese, cold meats, fruit, yoghurt, Cereal, pastries, bread and jams. Rooms had air conditioning and the hotel is a short walk to the beach and lots of nice restaurants.

This hotel has 2690 square feet (250 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location of the hotel is good - both not heavy traffic streets and close to the sea. The location of my room was excellent - the hotel administration made efforts to meet my special requirements. The breakfast was surprisingly pour for such an excellent hotel. The same three hot meals all the days - nothing more (For example, I like fried eggs prepared just now - no possibility). Only two same kinds of vegetables and even those are not always supplied close to the end of the breakfast time.
Cons: breakfast below average bed not so comfortable
Pros: One of the best hotels in the area, offering clean, modern rooms and very good service. Close to the beach, restaurants and marina. Appropriate for short stays with or without family.
Cons: The minibar fridge was really noisy so I had to unplug it in order to sleep.
Pros: The bed was super and didn’t have one of those silly duvets which many properties use and causes me cold sweats.
Pros: Îs good.
Cons: Water pool îs cold .
Pros: The swimming pool was awesome.
Cons: Very loud partys out side hotel in street until 4am. Also the floor in our room was rough pebbles, not cor bare feet.
Pros: It is in a lovely location.. beautiful pool.. the room is basic but very clean with comfortable beds.. a lovely breakfast.. a perfect layover for an overnight before flying out of Athens airport.. they had an easy and comfortable transfer.. this is the second year we have spent our layover with them and were very happy with everything!
Pros: Mc lose to beach, beautiful swimming pool area, great breakfast and very friendly staff!
Cons: The neighborhood was a little sketchy until you walked out on to the main road
Pros: Everything... pool, room is ok and good location...
Cons: Only one person at the front desk...
Pros: The location could not be any better in Néa Makri. The breakfast was good. Our room was was not ready on our arrival so they gave us a nice suite for the first 2 nights of our stay.
Cons: Right under our room was a night club and we could hear the music clearly and LOUDLY. It least the DJ had a good taste in music...

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: A serene escape in a seaside location. The property is in the midst of a vast and beautifully maintained garden and steps from the sea. A place to relax and enjoy greek hospitality at its best. Wonderful hosts!
Cons: Nothing. Recommend to have a car for excursions.
Pros: An excellent small boutique hotel! The location was right by the sea, the staff was very kind and helpful, the rooms were very clean and brand new. Breakfast was served everyday and included fresh eggs right from the hotel's farm, as well as jams, pies, fresh juice, and cakes. We would recommend it for a relaxing vacation!
Pros: This place is unique! The location is amazing, right by the sea, in a beautiful garden filled with pine trees, lemon trees and several flowers. The rooms are more than one could wish for- everything is brand new! Excellent breakfast with homemade goods is served right by the swimming pool. I would definitely revisit this place!
Pros: Hostess was a star. Made us feel at home from the start!
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: It was like in paradise!
With a stay at Anastazia Luxury Suites & Rooms in Dionysos, you'll be 6.6 mi (10.6 km) from Lake Marathon and 7.9 mi (12.7 km) from Helexpo. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast buffet selection
Cons: Air conditioning didn't work
Pros: My husband is handicapped and the staff did everything to accommodate us, big bathroom with a chair to go in the shower, always offer to help us. Elevator and easy acces could be arranged.
Cons: The breakfast should be improved, to little to choose between and the warm dishes should have been hold warm
Cons: This is a hotel for adult entertainment, the room is full of mirrors, walls are painted red and yellow which creates a very dark ambient, bed is uncomfortable and old and the illumination is basically two lamps, one of each side of the bed. That's not a hotel for people traveling for business or holidays. Moreover, a local Athenian confirmed this is a hotel for adult entertainment.
Pros: I have stayed at Anastazia several times en-route to/from Athens airport. It provides modern, pleasant and clean accommodation at an affordable price. The staff are very friendly and it is in a quiet, beautiful and fashionable neighborhood north of Athens. Restaurants, shops and cafes are about five hundred meters away. A perfect place to be if you want to be amongst Greek people rather than tourists.
Cons: When I paid my bill with MasterCard their bank forced a conversion to British Pounds (my home currency) at a less favourable rate than my card issuer would have charged. I did not want to do that because I know from experience that my card issuer always charges less. But I was not given a choice. According to pages 9 and 12 of "MasterCard's Dynamic Currency Converstion Compliance Guide", the hotel was obliged to let me choose to pay in local currency, and I always want to do that, but they did not give me that choice. AFTER I typed in my PIN, the card reader printed a receipt that said "I have chosen to pay in GBP" and that my choice is "final", but that was not true.
Pros: Great property, rooms are very nicely done and welcoming. The gym is small but its great for a nice morning session. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Area is very safe and pretty.
Cons: Pool timings were not consistent, first day the pool was open at 10am as there was a wedding party, the next day the pool only opened at midday, website states 11am. The lovely spa bath in the room was not working. Breakfast the first day was great, however the second morning the variety wasn't the same and items weren't replenished. Avocado's and fruit basket was rather sad and the items were over-ripe and old. The area is very pretty but not suitable if you want to try different restaurants or walk to the shops, or go site seeing.
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff and management. Relaxed feel.
Cons: No tea and coffee in room.
Pros: The hotel smells like a spa. Staff are friendly chatty. The Coco Mat room super clean and there is a full mirror wall infront of the bed!!!! Rates super.
Cons: Well I would have like crepe, waffles or pancakes for breakfast and some real nutella for my sweet tooth.
Pros: Clean room and hotel, staff was very helpful and responsive to all our needs. Location was good, near supermarkets, shops and Troufa Bread and Bakery (fantastic coffee and pastries)!
Cons: Room was very basic, no facilities for making tea or coffee in the room. Breakfast was very limited. The driveway to parking at the back has a huge dip in the ground so one needs to be careful.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Good room with proper beds and choice of two types of pillow. Enough space in the bathroom, big towels. Breakfast buffet had limited choices but was OK.
Cons: Impossible to shower without wetting the bathroom, because of the open construction. Staff could have been more attentive at breakfst time (providing cutlery, seeing what needed replenishing)

Pros: View was nice, buffet was nice on some days , staff very friendly . Wifi good . Room was nice except for bathroom
Cons: Bathroom was not of a good standard even for Greek standards . Beyond tiny in size .
Pros: Nice hotel
Cons: The location was thoroughly confusing. The link suggested it was in the centre of Athens yet its was an hour away!!
Pros: Property has a good seafront location although not all rooms have a good seaview. Most of the rooms do have a good view.
Pros: Location to sea & Pool! Buffet breakfast and dinner was awesome!
Cons: Pool water cold.
Pros: You could see the beach and the people were very friendly.
Cons: It’s a bit far from the Airport and the center of Athens.
Pros: Nice pool and directly to the ocean. Ok breakfast Big room and balcony
Cons: The bed was not that good Not much to do around town.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable
Pros: Only hotel beautiful pool and sea But I got a room that had no view of anything but a ramp from my window
Cons: Reception staff no help at all as my friends two families were I. Another building and I was put by myself in another building Mountain View but my ground floor room was facing only ramp that joins other building my room was 503 did request every day they said they were full but one of my friends booked a room in a day when they said they were fully booked. My room Doir was not working walked up and down 6 times at end maintenance guy came and fixed still didn’t work time for dinner couldn’t take wash as I couldn’t get in then the guy was working on it had to go for dinner leaving man fixing door I told the staff I was going to write a bad review about my treatment and room with no view couldn’t change in room as it was ground floor too open people passing by to go to pool and restaurant and could see me when I close thick curtain too dark to get dress. Hotel is very beautiful location too far we have to take two taxis we were 8 in 4 rooms and taxi for one way €80 to go to city I am a good customer with booking .com I was very very disappointed the one week I stayed there at least they could have said we will try but they always kept on saying we r full I travel a lot and have stayed in many lovely hotels specially when I was working for a airline . Thank you Annoyed Guest
Pros: pool and room

Pros: Good breakfastchoices-buffet. Friendly efficient staff. Very clean hotel. Saltwater pool. Sunbeds available. Fluffy White towels in room.
Cons: Travelled with family. 1st room allocated - excellent. 2nd room, as, requested on same floor awful. Asked to be moved and room excellent although on a different floor. Other guests mainly elderly Greeks. No evening meal or bar available
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: Bathroom old and ugly, fear to bathe in it
Pros: Great ocean view and balcony.
Cons: The water in the sink was brown, and the walls were extremely thin.
Pros: Great Location, friendly staff,
Cons: Mosquitos in the area
Pros: I had to leave for Canada, and we did not have breakfast .All our needs were fulfilled satisfactorily. Next time I would be in Greece, definitely I would do exactly the same "Thing" and avoid surprises.!
Cons: Actually Nothing at all.! God Bess you.
Pros: Nice pool area. Beautiful location next to the sea.
Cons: No food possibilities. No restaurant. The “kitchen” in appartment not well equipped. Bathroom old.
Pros: It was very comfortable because whereas it was mid July, there was a natural ventilation in the building. It prevented the use of the air conditioning; what is quite nicer! But the nicest point, it is the view from the room, just in front the sea! It seemed that the sea was at the height of my eyes, although my room was at the first floor. The front side garden just under my balcony was also very nice. I loved walking by the seaside, it was just wonderful. So beautiful.
Cons: There is nothing that I didn't like. for me, it was this place was a discovery, a place that I loved.
Pros: Good value for money and proximity to good tabernas and bars as well as a good base if u need to quickly reach the airport in the morning. it was super cool to see the dial phones still working !!! While using a great WiFi.
Cons: Needs a bi of additional upgrade if they could afford it.
Cons: - Old hotel, old old old furniture - the room smells - the towels smell - the air conditioner works more like a fan - there is no insect net for window, there are many mosquitoes in the room. - the property does not post enough photos to know exactly where you will be staying.
Pros: Imagine if you were offered a trip trough a time machine and woke up in a 60ies movie set. All around you just peace, blue Aegean sea, palms and olive trees... And then the vintage details. Don’t be spoiled by the modern and technically advanced hotels that charge ten times more in the area! You will have your piece, beautiful, deep and clean swimming pool that almost is only yours throughout the day because other guests go to the beach or don’t use it. Then imagine always being able to park in the shades of palm trees! Staff doesn’t bother you and only if you request help they do all they can to accomodate you. In the lobby, there is that perfect feeling of a Greek old movie with the oldfashioned but comfortable furniture and juke box machine that give a real retro feeling. We worked on our laptops in the lobby till late night and we were surprised by the great speed of the internet! Our room was cleaned each day with fresh, soft white sheets and towels. Ok, the furniture in the room is old but we loved it! The view from our balcony is now our screensaver and we’ll go back as soon as we can! Treasure of vintage comfort!
Cons: They just need to invest a bit in plumming, fosets and details like that. Maybe photos from 50ies and 60ties would be a nice touch in the rooms...
Pros: The old fashioned style. We felt like living in the 40's. The view of the sea, which is in 200 meters.
Cons: There are no matrimonial beds in the seaview rooms. The other rooms do have them, but they are smaller and not so well designed in terms of space.
Located in Dionysos, Anixi Boutique Hotel is connected to the convention center, within a 15-minute drive of Goulandris Natural History Museum and Capsis Cultural Exhibition and Conference Centre. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, a computer station, and express check-in. Planning an event in Dionysos? Pros: They have AC in every room The guy at the reception was very kind and helpful
Cons: The breakfast was poor The cleaning wasn't made properly The outside of the building looks very bad
Pros: The decor was lovely.
Cons: The room was absolutely filthy, the bed linen wasn't changed at all. We had to change the linens ourselves. Also we had to vacuum the room as it was covered with layers of dust. It was appalling. Guest's having to clean the room. The mattress was very old you could feel the springs on your backs digging in. The pillows were so flat that our neck's were so stiff in the morning. Only one staff running it and she did feel appalled after seeing all this for herself. We went there seeing the photos as it looked impressive but in reality it was a shock for us. We travel around the world and have never found such horrible things like this where we had to clean our own room. The price is too high for such a place when we actually found bigger rooms with a jacuzzi for much less. Anyway I hope they fix up and upgrade the whole place. Breakfast was ok.
Pros: Great personalities from the front desk people. Ready to assist with our requests. Some of the rooms were very comfortable.
Cons: Parking limited to only a few cars. Some rooms are very tight. Breakfast was OK at best.
Pros: We travel from the USA and having been staying here for the past 5 years. Everyone is very nice and the hotel is surrounded inside by history. Every piece of furniture has a story.
Cons: The room was dirty, worst I have ever seen in my life.
Pros: Everything. Service was great
Cons: Its a bit far from the airport
Pros: Antique things at the hotel - so lovely. The reception guy was very helpful and nice.
Pros: The continental breakfast was nice.
Cons: We booked a family room because we are a family with small children, only to arrive at 11PM to hear that we actually got two adjacent rooms. The person at the front desk was very nice and apologetic, explaining that they had an unforseen electrical problem, which had also disabled the elevator. We were very disappointed, but we understand ot was beyond their control. We had to split the adults between rooms, which was definitely not our preference. Other than that the rooms were clean, the shower and toilets were clean but basic and somewhat depressing. There was no shower curtain, which means if you shower you get a wet floor and a wet toilet...
Pros: The location is different from the booking and we got lost it too far from the city so bad experience
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Coffee was just ok. The staff was amazing. Especially Dimitris and Michalis there customer service was exceptional.
Cons: Air condition was not operating at all. It’s was dead. The locks to the rooms were not working. Stay at your own risk for theft. The curtains were dusty. Under the bed it was at least a 1/4 dust. There was a hole on the felling of one of the bathrooms above the shower. The whole place stunk from cigarette smoke. The furniture was old with various stains. The WiFi didn’t work at any of the rooms.
With a stay at Leonanti Hotel in Marathon, you'll be on the beach, just a 4-minute walk from Schinias Beach and 7 minutes by foot from Schinias Olympic Rowing and Canoeing Centre. Featured amenities include luggage storage and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I had a delightful breakfast at Leonanti with fresh Greek yoghurt and honey, lovely big cup of coffee boiled eggs and ham and cheese toaster melts. Just a great way to start my day on top of an early morning swim in the calm warm see. Perfect
Cons: Maybe more food choice at dinner
Pros: Perfect weekend getaway from Athens--beautiful beach; nice pool; relaxed atmosphere. We have two kids, and the grassy area with playground and pool right next to big, sandy beach has everything you could want! Nice souvlaki grill across the street and convenience store if you forget anything.
Cons: Breakfast could provide a few more options.
Pros: On the beach. Pool is beautiful.
Cons: Restaurant under delivered. Breakfast was very very simple. No tea, only coffee and a non working coffee machine (although it was out).
Pros: The rooms are large and well equipped. Proximity to the beach
Cons: The rooms are not well cleaned.
Pros: Amazing sandy beach is very close and has tanning beds free for hotel guests. Sea view from the bungalo was good. The room was quite clean withe exception of some ants. The beds were comfortable. Fridge worked well. TV worked well. There are many restaurants around (although some of them are closed forever).
Cons: Main building is closed, only bungalos available. Breakfast was quite simple. Pictures of rooms and breakfast on the hotel website do not reflect reality. Toilet kept breaking and instead of fixing the cause inside the water tank, the reception accused us of throwing paper in the toilet, although there were no signs prohibiting it. There were no beach towels available. WIFI did not reach the bungalo, only cafeteria area.
Cons: It is an abandoned hotel which definitely needs to be renovated.
Cons: Every thing
Pros: Friendly and helpful personnel
Pros: the hotel is located on the amazing beach of Schinias, the view and the sea are great. but the hotel itself is overpriced for what it is.
Cons: they must big efforts concerning maintenance and cleanliness including the room itself, the toilet and the bed sheets. the breakfast is very poor. they also had a problem with the water during our stay, and the water was cut on all the rooms.
Pros: The Beach
Cons: Reception, the room, the bathroom, the staff, the payment,
