Pros: Some of the staff are outstanding and make travelers happy to walk in the door. The rooms are amazingly designed! The gym, laundry room, pool, hot tub, outdoor living and cooking, back view are wonderful! I love staying and the + out way the - .
Cons: Room service rules are different and need to be printed in the rooms. Handyman only on Thursdays, rooms cleaned after ck out, only towel & garbage changes daily. (Which is ok , except the handyman only on Thursday part) We had a drain problem 3 nights.
Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements.
Cons: Very unhappy with breakfast. Hotel was completely booked. They were out of orange juice and some fresh fruits. The hotel should have planned for this. Breakfast attendant didn't do good job of keeping up with restocking breakfast items that were available
Pros: The room was very comfortable with a small 'living room'. Behind the hotel was a large green space to walk our dog. Their was also a patio, chairs and a fire pit located off the indoor pool
Cons: Slight odor in the room
Pros: The staff especially hotel employee who is super helpful at night. The rooms are big and clean
Cons: Couple stink bugs in the room. I know they were bad this year but it was still yuck
Pros: The room was very comfortable, clean, and user friendly.
Cons: The water was only lukewarm, never got hot.
Pros: The breakfast was great and the room was clean & modern.

Pros: Very clean decore was very nice.
Cons: My wife thought the bed was hard.
The pool was awesome, area around it was clean and well stocked. The room was awesome. It didn't have what I refer to as the typical 'hotel smell'. Staff was very polite. The breakfast was awesome. Selection was impressive. Bed was comfortable.
Pros: It was clean, the clock had already been changed to daylight saving time, they had fully stocked towels in bathroom. Most places seem to put bare minimum like 2--refreshing to have enough in room. Pool was awesome and staff was courteous. Breakfast gre
Cons: Nothing that I can think of..other than I would have liked to spend more time at the facility.
Pros: The atmosphere is terrific. There is the feeling of old world quality of life, an era gone by when people lived a more genteel and sophisticated life style. It is a beautiful hotel, great setting, wonderful staff. Overall we had a chance to experience the glory of a more elegant way of life.
Cons: We didn't mind the small size of the room, but the bathroom was too small for us as we are big people. The whole building did have a smell, that said, this is a very old building, but I believe that something could be done.

Pros: Comfortable and met all my needs with convenience. Im handicapped.no
Cons: The business center fax didn't work. The power went out from 4:30pm to midnight and they had no emergency lights set up on the exits you couldn't even see the steps. In 7 days they never change the sheets. Housekeeping walked in w/o knocking
Pros: The Check in staff was great as well as the bar staff.
Pros: The staff was great. Literally everyone there was friendly, polite and helpful.
Cons: Blanket was stained and they did not have a replacement. Floor was sticky in spots.
Pros: powerful shower
Pros: Front desk clerk was excellent
Cons: It's a two story hotel with NO elevator. My husband is handicapped and walks with a cane and they had no rooms available on the first floor. This was blamed on the previous owners of the hotel. I can't believe there is any hotels without elevators.
Pros: Really nice rooms
Cons: The outside was very dirty. Old carpet in rooms so i didnt want to step on the floor in bare feet. Very old looking. Needs rennovations. Floor creaked too when i walked in room.

The bathroom is like a landing strip for Boeing 747 or space shuttle. .Very horrible, every time the shower is turned on. .absolutely disappointed.
Pros: Pet friendly
Cons: The nonsmoking room reeked of smoke. The bed was very uncomfortable
Pros: I got a night of sleep
Cons: The whole place made me feel as if an army of germs were going to crawl over me.
Pros: I don't know.... Never got to see the room or anything of the hotel.
Cons: After reserving a room online then going to check in, we were told they were booked up the night before and were told there was no room available for us. We were in town for my Mothers 80th surprise Birthday party....The surprise was on me I guess.. no room and ended up late to the party.

Cons: The man and woman who served as desk clerks were some of the most aggressive and nastiest people I have ever met.
Pros: Price was very good.
Cons: Lighting around the hotel and the location were kinda suspect
Pros: New carpet. Clean. Great front desk guy
The area seems really sketchy and I doubt I'll ever stay in another super 8 due to this experience. I was extremely unhappy with being stuck in a room with persistent noise down the hall (systematic knocking about 2 minutes apart that lasted all night) and not having a working air conditioner in the room when it was 80 degrees and very humid made it way less of an enjoyable stay. The air conditioning in our other guest's room worked but the toilet screeched for a few minutes every time you'd flush it. We all agreed it wasn't a great experience.
Pros: The clerk at the front desk was really nice.
Cons: The air conditioning in our room did not work and there was someone else's hair in the bathtub drain when I went to shower. We had went to speak with the front desk and they said they were booked and couldn't do anything about it.
Pros: The wires were exposed on the door by the lock and room had a mildew oder. I had to air the room out m the parking lot had huge pot holes that would swallow up your car. This hotel stay should have only been ----dollars for the not not----. It was no
Cons: I did not lik anything about this hotel. It was terrible. Mildew smell in room, wires exposed on the door. Huge pot holes in the parking lot this could swallow up your car. The hotel was dirty.
Pros: Staff was friendly & helpful.
Cons: Venting system in bathroom had not been cleaned for quite some time.
Decent enough if you can get a good rate. I was told by the desk clerk we got a really good rate at xxx a night
Pros: The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms have been remodeled recently.
Cons: Well for some reason the front desk thought we checked out one of our rooms after one night when our reservations were for two rooms for two nights. This happened when some one not in our party turned in a room key and verbally said our room number.
all was good and convienient.
Pros: Location was primary satisfaction.
Cons: nothing was problematic.
It is what it is---a budget hotel. It had everything it said it would, though. Overall, the experience was okay. Nothing great, but nothing bad either.
Pros: The location was very convenient--access to the highway, beside a Kroger, surrounded by eating places
Cons: We were in a non-smoking room, but it sort of had a stench of someone previously smoking in it. Also, it was only 'clean enough,' but worth it for the price.
Well lighted parking area; Next door to Shoney's family style restaurant. Near grocery store & other shopping. Easy off/on interstate --- close to downtown.
Pros: Staff was fantastic. I was limping when I checked in (sprained ankle that morning) --- staff changed room so I was on first floor, close to entry. THANK YOU!!
Pros: Short on towels. No coffee maker. Couldn't figure shower out
Pros: Friendly staff at an average hotel. The room was clean.
Cons: My wife found a towel that had dust or dirt on it, but other than that, everything was OK. Nothing was outstanding, but nothing was bad.
Enjoy your visit to Parkersburg with a stay at Red Carpet Inn Parkersburg. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day, and freebies like breakfast, WiFi, and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The room was clean and up to date (including a flat screen TV ), the night receptionist seemed happy and was accommodating, and it was just off the highway.
Cons: The room had a fairly strong smell and the breakfast was less than impressive.
