The staff was amazing! They were really helpful for our questions. The breakfast was also amazing and we appreciate the kindness of Khalid :) The riad was so nice also the terrace floor is so nice to rest at the end of the day.
the scent that they use to put in the room was terrible :( sorry to say that we couldnt breath for that scent which has a candle under this. Everyday I put the scent outside of the room, every morning after we leave the room, they put it inside :)))))
Lovely place with fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Sofianne advised us on where to go and what to do. He was so helpful and attentive, we could not have hoped for more. The breakfasts were fantastic. The rooms were simple but comfortable.
It was all great!
This boutique hotel within walking distance of souks, restaurants and tourist sites, was a joy to stay in. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had a long day before flying home and were able to sunbathe on the top terrace undisturbed. We arranged for transfers to and from the airport with the hotel’s taxi service which was essential. We chose to have our hammam spa treatment and massage on site and it was very professional and easy, walking back to your hotel room in your robe.
The access to the hotel is through a tunnel and very narrow streets. That was not too bad but to get there you have to walk along a very busy road with pedestrians vying with push bikes, cars and motorbikes all quite dangerous. But as it only a short distance this is not too much of a problem. When you were inside the hotel it was a perfect haven away from the hustle and bustle of the main city.
Beautiful terrace on rooftop with great views and places to relax. We enjoyed the breakfasts on the rooftop each morning. The man serving breakfast was always very friendly. The courtyards are beautiful and feel like a true escape from busy Marrakech. Good location in a nice neighbourhood in a quiet alley. The directions provided at the beginning of our stay were very helpful. The hammam and massage were very good and the ladies who provided these were friendly and skilled.
The bed in our room was small and the mattress hard. There was a very strong smell of jasmine oil in the room which gave me a headache. They did stop lighting the candle when we asked them not to but unfortunately the smell remained in the room. So be aware if you are sensitive to strong smells like I am. The shower was nice but the hot water lasted for only 4 minutes max every day which was disappointing. Finally, the quality and prices of the food in the riad restaurant for dinner are not good. The food was microwaved (we could see through to the kitchen and see our food in the microwave) and one of my items was presented to me partially frozen. The price of the set menu was 200mad which is much more expensive for comparable restaurants in the Médina so it was disappointing the quality was so poor. Hopefully the restaurant can be improved for future guests.
The staff was super nice with us and let us having a late night dinner when we landed.
