Intercontinental Hotels Marseille - Hotel Dieu

Sorrounding, view, the harbor and Basilique- Notre-Dame. Was magnificent.

The interior of the room was lovely.

I was put in a room with a view to the back alley where people were drunkenly screaming off and on all night. I realize that my rate for the room was excellent for this hotel but the location of the room was an abomination.

Beautiful building in a superb location. Good facilities, clean,airy and comfortable.

When one pays for three people to stay ( two adults, one child) it behoves the hotel to provide facilities such as towels, cups, glasses etc for three without having to ask. In addition, the WiFi did not work throughout our two day-day stay. Eventually told of an alternative conference / meeting WiFi and password, which still didn’t work in our room meaning the only alternative was to work in the lobby. Finally, noisy staff chatting and moving furniture around in the early hours of the morning below our room are not conducive to a good night’s sleep!
