Pros. Location close to the tennis facility
Cons. Marginal facilities with marginal cleanliness and a poor excuse for a "breakfast". Pleasant staff with one young male who rarely stopped playing with his phone long enough to do his job.
Pros. When we explained our issues with our room & found out there were no other rooms available, the person at the front desk gave us a refund without too much fuss. She first offered us air freshener, and when we declined she asked "is it really THAT bad?" which was bit of a turn-off, but we were thankful that she refunded us quickly.
Cons. When we first arrived, we had to call because the person who was working the front desk was away cleaning rooms (about 5:00 pm). When we got to our room, the TV had been left on & was blaring. Unfortunately, there wasn't a remote control, and we couldn't turn it off. Then we noticed that our non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke; we are not super sensitive to that, but this was very noticeable, and we would not have been comfortable staying. We also noticed that the bathroom door would not close all the way, which would have been uncomfortable if we had decided to stay. The room wasn't very clean either, although if this had been the only issue, we likely would have stayed, as it wasn't TERRIBLY unclean. We went up to see if there was a different room available, but they were all booked, so we asked for a refund. We happily found another hotel in the area that was much better, for a similar price.
Pros. Room was good size and comfortable. Frig, microwave, window seat and night light were nice additions. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall happy with my overnight stay.
Cons. There was no shampoo or conditioner in room.
