Excellent situation so close to the Messi,. Loved matera would recommend to anyone
Nothing at all to complain about
Absolutely fantastic property. Everything was very spacious, modern and clean. Very close to the historic city.
Breakfast must improve. We are given vouchers to go to a coffee shop in the morning for breakfast. This only includes one coffee and one pastry though. On the second day it was actually worse. Apparently the coffee shop closes every Wednesday but we were not informed. Even if we were, they have no alternatives, it was closed, I just had to walk around for 10 minutes in the cold and rain to find another place for breakfast for which I had to pay of course. I informed the host later on that day, he was very apologetic and told me that he forgot about this. You can't forget about this, you have already been paid for B&B then you must provide as a B&B, if you can't, then advertise as self catering or room only as the breakfast provided is not worth more than 2 euros or nothing if the shop is closed. In saying all the above, I would stay again based on this absolutely fantastic property. Only this time I would know that I would have to pretty much get my own breakfast.
Very nice B&B with free parking next to it. Very good breakfast served in a little bakery just around the corner.
The bed was a bit small for two people.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a large terrace, shared with the neighboring room. The greeting was efficient and professional- response times were good. The room had a pleasant appearance.
The shower access was phenomenally narrow. Water pressure was weak. The room and bath were cramped- putting in extras like candles, while romantic for the 20-something set, possibly, just served to make the place more cramped from a more cynical 60-something perspective. The spiral staircase was not particularly confidence-inspiring, although I am sure it was sturdy enough, and not that easy to navigate. We were grateful for help with our bags as we climbed it. If you are young and in love and more interested in romantic niceties, I can see that the place has some added appeal. If you're old and more interested in functional comfort, well, not so much.
Clean and well located.
Very, very small.
