The spa bathroom was the reason we booked this hotel and it met our expectations. However when you use the shower the water goes everywhere - maybe a shower curtain would be useful.
There was a security breach at the hotel during our stay. Whilst our car was parked in the secure car park at the property someone had got into our car, we were notified this on check out by the hotel manager Ben. CCTV footage had shown this. We had a quick look to see if anything had been taken but nothing obvious was missing. We didn't have the time to properly inspect our car as we had a long drive back home. Ben did however give us his card so that when we were able to inspect the car we could let him know if anything had been taken and it could be reported to the police. When we were told of this security breach we had not yet checked out and paid for parking which was $26 per night. Although Ben was apologetic the member of staff on the reception desk was incredibly rude and her only interest was to get the money for the parking. I believe that as a small gesture for the inconvenience and the fact that our car was meant to be in a safe and secure place that the parking fees could have been waved. However this was not the case and we paid reluctantly. When we arrived home after what was meant to have been a relaxing weekend away we inspected the car. It was then noticed that some of my partners tools which he needs for work had been stolen along with a few other items. I have emailed the hotel over a week ago now and I have still had no reply. I have also sent a message via booking.com which has also not been responded to. However when I sent a message regarding if we could pay for parking before our arrival the message was responded to within a day. As for the room everything looked great on arrival however there were a few things that need to be fixed. We had the air con on which was great until the unit was obviously extremely dirty it was blowing out black dirt. We went to turn the TV on to which there was no remote for. When you did try and turn the volume up or down it also changed the channel something minor however extremely frustrating.
Excellent staff, helpful and very knowledgeable with directions to food venues, my son loves pizza and I wasn’t expecting to find a restaurant so close it was the lovely young man working late shift on the 9/10/19 that guided us with directions ( my son said best pizza ever) Staff also assisted with parking and tourist attractions. Grateful to Megan for her assistance with our tourist plans . Very comfortable bed . Room much larger than expected. Beyond our expectations regarding value for money. We were going to Her Majesty’s theatre could not have found accommodation as close as this venue ,it was perfect. Will definitely be returning and recommending this accommodation to friends.
We were on level 6 and had difficulty settling at night due to street noise especially from 1am onwards beeping trucks , dumpster trucks ect . Next stay we hope to be in a different room lower level, that will muffle out the noise or we will bring ear plugs . We couldn’t work the bath but it was ok because shower had lovely pressure .
Everything was great. Exactly what I needed. Just wish I was there longer to use it more!
i loved the full length mirror, the spa bath was amazing I'm now obsessed and easy to come and go from
parking situation with our stay got messed up a bit but that ok they made up for it some what, view was brick wall
I like the location - it was very convenient. The shops and restaurants were easily accessible.
