Opt for a Room with Good Water Pressure
Some guests reported poor water pressure in the rooms, so consider inquiring about this when booking to ensure a comfortable shower experience.
Consider Noise Levels
As the hotel is centrally located, noise from the surroundings and other guests checking in and out can be disruptive. Light sleepers may want to request a quieter room or bring earplugs.
Explore Nearby Attractions
The hotel's central location provides easy access to attractions such as Parque Hidalgo, Palacio de Gobierno, and Catedral de Mérida, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city.
Check Room Size
Several guests mentioned that the rooms were small, so if space is a priority, consider inquiring about room size options or upgrading to a larger room.
Inquire About Breakfast Quality
Some guests were disappointed with the breakfast, so it may be worth exploring nearby dining options for breakfast or choosing a room rate without breakfast included.
Consider Room View
Rooms with courtyard or landmark views were praised by guests, so consider requesting a room with a view for a more enjoyable stay.
Verify Internet Connectivity
Several guests experienced issues with the Wi-Fi, especially on the top floor, so if reliable internet access is important, consider confirming the connectivity in the chosen room.
Request Early Check-In
The standard check-in time is at 3:00 PM, so if arriving earlier, it may be beneficial to request an early check-in to avoid waiting with baggage.
Parking Considerations
If traveling by car, note that parking is off-site, and finding parking to unload can be challenging due to the hotel's location in a plaza. Consider coordinating with hotel staff for assistance with parking.
Consider Room Maintenance
Some guests encountered issues with room maintenance, such as dirty sheets and bathroom problems. It may be helpful to inspect the room upon arrival and promptly report any issues to the staff for resolution.
