What are the main advantages of Hotel Merida?
The hotel's location and the size of the room (two double beds) are the main advantages of this hotel. Also friendly staff, free overnight parking and two complimentary bottles of water per day.
What can I expect from the hotel's dining options?
The restaurant is not owned by the hotel. They provided only American coffee. They would not give you milk for your coffee. The menu said omelettes had 2 ingredients. We asked for 3, said we were willing to pay for the third, and we were told “no”. The servers take care of their owners first, and the customer isn’t even considered.
What practical amenities does the hotel offer?
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, parking, and a child pool. Additionally, there are daily housekeeping, contactless check-in/check-out, and hand sanitizer in guest accommodation and key areas for safety.
What are the main concerns about the hotel's rooms?
Some towels required upgrade and the bathroom might require maintenance. The room was really small. However, the main problem was with the shower - the shower door wasn’t closing properly. Also, it took 5 min for water to heat up.
What is the hotel's unique feature?
The hotel's location in the heart of the tourist drag in Merida is a unique feature. Additionally, the hotel has a big open air courtyard, but it lacks comfortable seating and tables. The pool and pool area are small and could do with an upgrade.
