The location was amazing and the staff very nice.
Was not happy about the visible mold painted over on the bathroom ceiling that was clearly still growing, gave the room a less than pleasant smell. It was also growing in the crevices of the light switch/electrical outlet, caused me to question the safety of breathing it and being around it. The A/C unit inside the room rattled while running off and on to the point that it woke me up through out the night. The plastic grocery bag that was placed over the smoke alarm was also a bit concerning, and the broken lamp and coffee pot in the room weren't impressive. Also I was disappointed there weren't shear curtains or blinds, only blackout curtains, so it was dark and closed off in the room or wide open with everything visible from the dumpsters and cars parked outside the window. The fact that there's a charge of $30/night to park should be disclosed somewhere, it only says there is guest parking before booking. The photos online are extremely flattering compared to the actual condition of the room I got, and if not for the no refund policy and the fact that I was only there 1 night, less than 24 hours, I definitely would have found other accommodations and will not be staying here again.
Pics that they put online makes the hotel look better...
1) The staff was rude... 2) bed was uncomfortable 3) AC machine was so loud. Fire Alarm was bipping so we had to take it out,,, 4) the next room was playing looud music till late in the morning.. Couldnt sleep at all!!!!
The staff was great very welcoming and was willing to help with our every need.
Very quiet clean
Left a shirts said could not find it
I would definitely stay in their again. Everyone was nice.
Close to Miami beach and Lincoln Road. Bad internet conection. Nice spanish yard. Good staff. Good for short stay.
I loved the location, it was placed in a perfect location. Just 2 blocks over from the beach. Shopping only one block over. And lots of nightclubs within walking distance.
The towels and sheets had stains all over them. One of the beds looked like it had some type of stain on the sheet. The bathroom floor tile looked very dirty (the cracks between the tile). There are only literally 3 outlets in the room. My friend and I were fighting over outlets. There is a door leading to the second floor and when opened it slams shut. It will startle you out of your sleep. The furnishings definitely need to be updated. It looks like they updates the bathroom but never got to the room. Luckily we were out of the room all day and most of the night. We luckily only had to sleep and shower there.
Close to the beach
beds were comfortable and the staff was nice close to the beach
Well the location and the price are hard to beat.
Staff seemed very disorganized. Room was not ready at the check in time. Room seemed rather dirty and very basic. It had AC, but the unit was very loud, so it was a struggle between deciding to keep the AC off and try to get sleep in the hot room.
did not stay at this hotel
The hotel over booked the hotel and didnt tell us until we arrived. They tried to move us to a hotel that was old and dirty. The next hotel was not any better. The business manager then blamed the mistake on kayak and questioned me when I called kayak to ask what was going on and they had no idea why The Harrison would move us. I think their was a lot of funny business going on with the hotel manager.
location location location very affordable great staff
bathrooms felt small
close to the beach, patio was not bad and cleaning staff was friendly.
front desk man was very rude and acted like he could care less about everything. do not make reservation without paying in full as they will not honor it. took half hour to get car from valet. hotel falling apart in places.
Not a great price for the room but compared to everything around it it worked for us. Close to beach and lots of good food so for one night before a cruise it was ok.
Broken safe and air conditioner and one of the windows didn't lock on a floor one room so there's that...
Only the location and the price were good.
I saw stains on the wall, mold on bathroom floor and I found a used ear plug on the floor. The linens looked old and I made sure to not put any of my bags or clothing for fear that there might be bedbugs. Then again it was cheap so I guess I got what I paid for.
The rooms were very clean.
The entire hotel property needs a renovation/update.
It is a good location.
Old ran down hotel. Feels more like a old motel. Just expected more.
Location, surrounded by restaurants/bars/clubs, beach is 2 blocks down. Nice looking courtyard. AC was affective. The price was awesome relative to where you're staying, this place is fine if you plan on being out most of the time, and need a place to sleep.
Understaffed - 1 person running the entire hotel, during prime check in hours, but he was very nice & polite to everyone. The owner should hire more help or raise the rates by a bit, in order to afford more help. We're patient, but we saw others that were getting impatient by having to wait a long time to check into a small hotel. Room was clean for the most part, but little details missed by house cleaners, like previous guest's spoiled food in the fridge, hair in shower, also they should get new towels!
Location and Price
Key to open door was cheap and faulty, staff was rude, not that clean, sound traveled easily through walls, no real window, no fresh air.
Bed was nice. The air conditioner remote. Free cable and wifi. Location.
Roaches only one plug in the room worked.
