Pros: Beautiful location between center shops and old harbor with nice restaurants. Perfect quiet place for visiting Zeeland. Rotterdam Ouddorp Burgh-H... Mostly helpful tenant family. English German and even not do bad French spoken ! Solutions For bicycles, Rotterdam tips, restaurant advices..... Very nice breakfast in a very elegant room. Dutch way of life.
Cons: Nothing wrong but take care that one of the room is with steps for « sportive people ». Just check with tenants. You are in the center of the city. So normal noisy city. Don’t go for a perfectly quiet place out of the village.
Pros: Da Oude Bank was lovely nothing was too much trouble for Paul and Katina they are a lovely coupe and we look forward to our return visit next year they couldn't do enough for us even offering the whole top floor for us we paid for one room and because I travelled with my son they offered me the room next door to the one we paid for in addition free of charge thank you guys you know our feelings we told you ourselves xxx

Pros: Owners made us feel very comfortable and nothing was too much, rooms were excellent and the breakfast was a feast , the whole place has a very nice ambience.
Cons: Nothing to report
Pros: A very nice room , friendly staff, good value.
Pros: Very spacious and very clean room with everything one needs! Good breakfast, easy free parking.
Cons: The bed was too soft for our liking, but that’s personal preference.
Pros: Very nice place, very friendly People :)
Pros: What a find! Excellent quirky hotel. Fantastic owner and breakfast.
Cons: We could only pay in cash. Luckily we had enough. But it isn't stated when you book that cash is only accepted as payment.
Pros: Was surprised to be allocated an annexe room but don't be put off by this. The room was extremely comfortable, the owner supplied a mobile aircon unit to combat the unprecedented heat, once the room cooled down this wasn't needed. Great breakfast choice. Very quirky individual B&B will definitely return if in the area
Pros: The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Location was great, could walk to the dike for shopping :) Breakfast was very good. Coffee was excellent and available first thing in the morning :) so we could take some back to our room as well.
Cons: We really have no negatives regarding this property.
Pros: Everything was great! Our host was friendly.
Cons: The towels didn’t smell good...

Pros: Beautiful house and garden and very accommodating hosts.
Cons: Shared bathroom with four rooms so morning line-up for the facilities was a challenge!!
Pros: Stuff (owner couple) was really nice and helpfull. Breakfast in garden was good and it was nice to eat outside. I can really recommend the place if you are trying to find cheap place to stay.
Pros: Very comfortable stay in large spacious room. Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful hosts.
Cons: Unfortunately due to weather we couldn't eat breakfast outside in the lovely garden.
Pros: Cozy room. Owners really think about their guests comfort. The sign is visible from the street so I was able to easily find it while travelling by car (the owner also provided GPS coordinates -- so this is the actual reason). I like their hospitality.
Pros: The room was great value for $. Comfy bed, nice seating area and modern & clean (shared) bathroom. Also, our host was very friendly & helpful with good communication prior to our arrival. I recommend the breakfast too!
Cons: Pulling in, we were met with an old commercial building which was later the view from our room. This was the *only* downside of the property. Our room was next to the shared bathroom and my partner found he could notice other guests using it- I however didnt notice and wasnt bothered in the least.
Pros: Great small town, very nice hosts!
Pros: The accommodation is simple but comfortable - the owners really go out of their way! Thanks for the excellent breakfast.
Pros: The price and the breakfast
Cons: Breakfast between 0800 and 0900 ( to early when you are on holiday) and you have to share a bathroom with 8 more people, which makes it even more dificult to be ready before 0900
Pros: Nice little place with great hospitality in the center of a small village. Clean rooms. Very nice and homemade breakfast. The kids loved old style candy store.
Pros: Kindness of the hosts. Excellent breakfast.
Pros: Very friendly hosts, great teatime and really good breakfast (we would have opted for some 'real' bread or toast if possible, but that is just a minor thing and a personal preference for breakfast), very cosy and lovely decorated rooms!
Cons: One bathroom to share for 8 people felt a little bit like old hostel times ;) - it's not totally comfortable, but definitely manageable for just a few days. The walls are very thin, so that you really hear every noise and every word that is spoken - which is alright as long as you don't have very noisy neighbours (which we had - friendly, but noisy). We think that is simply good to know - and also no problem as long as everybody's willing to talk about it and compromise.:)
Pros: Very authentic
Cons: queue at shared bathroom
Pros: Amazing extended breakfast... with a wide variety of choices!
Pros: Dirksland is in the middle of the island, perfect for going anywhere marching or bicycling. It's also far from any touristic place, so you're in the middle of real Dutch life, great. The family owing this location does more than its best to make customers feel comfortable. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own theme, the general atmosphere of the house is relaxing.
Cons: first night very noisy and disrespectful neighbours thinking and acting like if living on an isolated island (Owner fixed all well)

Pros: The location was very convenient and the view of farms & cow field was also excellent
Pros: The bathroom and the whirlpool were superclean and well arranged.
Pros: It was in a pretty area, and as we were cycling 50-100km each day we were looking for a place with a bath at the right location to break the journey. It was a big jacuzzi style bath, good to deal with aching legs. Hellevoetsluis is very pretty, about 15min by bicycle. Owner very friendly. Liked having proper glasses & plates.
Cons: Small things that detracted from a top score: the bathroom and bedroom were two separate rooms, but there were dressing gowns for moving inbetween. Nice capsule coffee machine in the room, but only capsules provided for first day. At least one per person per day would be nice. Rituals handwash / lotion bottles, definitely did not contain Rituals. No shops in the surrounding area to easily walk or cycle too, so bring the provisions you need. There is a fridge in the room & a communal small kettle. Mugs rather than paper cups would have been nice for the environmental feel.
Pros: It was clean and okay
Cons: Facilities were old, there's no reception, bathroom was clean but had a smell. Bathroom is separated, you will have to walk down the hallway to get there. Bathroom is 3 times as big as the bedroom. Wasn't clear how to check out but ran into the host by coincidence.
Pros: Cozy clean room, soft bed.
Cons: Slow internet, low wifi signal.
Pros: Friendly owners despite the late arrival. Parking is close to the entrance. Easy car access no need to enter the village.
Cons: nothing worth mentioning.
Pros: Very nice host and good breakfast, super comfy bed.
Cons: The room is small - just enough space to walk around the bed.
This small family-run hotel is situated on the edge of Oude-Tonge and offers simply-furnished rooms. "Lely" includes a cosy restaurant with a spacious terrace featuring views over the square and harbour. Hotel-restaurant "Lely" benefits from rooms with a TV and a bathroom with a shower. During good weather breakfast is served on the terrace and includes various types of bread, tea or coffee, orange juice and an egg. Situated on the island Goeree-Overflakkee, "Lely" Hotel-restaurant is only 2 km from local nature areas. Roosendaal is a 30-minute drive from the hotel and Rotterdam is 35 minutes away by car. The restaurant serves meals and snacks throughout the day including fresh pancakes and waffles. The menu also features specialties including fish and mussels. Guests can enjoy drinks including Belgian beers and Portuguese wine inside or on the terrace.
Pros: We stayed here because of the location - it gave us 100km to cycle that day. Friendly staff, small clean if basic room, good food in the restaurant.
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful village and breakfast was good - though very much a Dutch breakfast with bread.
Cons: Firstly, the rooms were super dated. No upgrade since the 70s and the mattresses were too soft and uncomfortable. That would have been fine if the prices hadn't been so steep. We stayed in an apartment with 2 rooms and 4 beds. We were with 3 in the room but messed up the sheets of the 4th bed. When we checked out they said we had been with 4 people and that we needed to pay 25 euro extra for the additional person. We told them we were only 3 people; we had just been relaxing in the rooms and had put our stuff on the extra bed etc. So yeah, the sheets were ruffled. They were pretty rude and the owner even said we had to pay extra because we used the shower an extra time. In the end we had to pay 15 euro extra because we argued that 2 of our group didn't take breakfast - which is surely worth more than changing 1 set of bed sheets. We were quite shocked by the rudeness. As a Dutch person I know that we have a pretty bad rep for our lack of hospitality, but this was terrible even by Dutch standards.
Pros: We just needed a place to spend the night on our way south and picked this spot for its location. We were very pleasantly surprised! We were given a suite with a cute little kitchen and living room. Pretty basic but clean and nice. We ate a lovely dinner at the associated restaurant & Really enjoyed it thoroughly. Very nice, a bit upscale. The town is tiny and almost everything was closed by the time we got there but I would have liked to have a few hours in the daytime to explore. Very quaint, quiet. Loved the hotel and the restaurant. Our expectations were low but we’re definitely exceeded!!
Pros: The location is wonderful, the staff very helpful! Our rooms were going to be in different buildings, but the girl helping us spotted it straight away, and also solved it immediately!
Cons: It still needed work done, but it will be amazing once done!
Pros: Very clean and pleasant room. Not too spacious but as it was only for overnight, it wasn't a problem. The continental breakfast was plentyful, with the option of egg and bacon as well. The staff were very friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the narrow stepped, steep staircase up to the room. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem but I had an ankle injury and struggled going up and down them.
Pros: Hotel staff is really very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and quiet at the same time. Very nice restaurant, the best among the ones I tried in the area.
Cons: Rooms are too small for longer stays unless you plan to be outside the whole day. Breakfast offer was good in quality but limited.
