Pros: Anthi was very friendly and accommodating. She made us a wonderful breakfast that is mostly homemade by herself. She provided us with many helpful tips for our stay in the area and we would definitely come back again!
Pros: We very much enjoyed a wonderful stay!
Pros: The breakfast was very good.
Cons: A little misunderstanding about my arrival time had me sitting outside for one and a half hours.
Pros: I loved the location of Filloma. Great views from the balcony on the second floor! The decoration in the interior was pretty well studied! Breakfast was more than excellent! And Anthi was super helpful, low profile but also very helpful!
Cons: I really didn't find anything that I disliked!
Pros: breakfast and quality of sleep were exceptional
Pros: The welcome was first class, friendly and informative. Our room, even though it had no windows was full of character and cool in all senses of the word. The star of the visit was breakfast with bread from the local wood burning stove bakery, a building that was originally designed as a station for a train that never reached the village; and the wonderful selection of other homemade treats. The building is 19th century stone built mansion with some wonderful features including a shared lounge on the 2nd floor with wonderful views of the Pagasitic Gulf.
Cons: It is strange staying in a room with no real windows. There actually were a couple of very small windows which looked on to a brick wall inches away. I wonder if this ‘view’ could be improved with a painted board or some such thing blocking the bricks. It’s not a big deal though by any means
Pros: Great building, amazing breakfast by Anthi. Fireplace, 5 min walk from the village center. Nice common lounge area. Thank you Anthi, you were a great hostess :)
Cons: You need to park 5 min walk away from the hotel, easy walk though. The mirror in the bathroom would have been better placed a bit higher, you cannot shave easily.
Pros: Great viwe & great hospitality
Cons: Shower was too small
Pros: Excellent breakfast, extremely helpful staff, amazing location.

When you stay at Thalia Traditional Guest House in South Pelion, you'll be 11.2 mi (18.1 km) from Paou Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: A beautiful renovated guesthouse in the middle of the small village of Promirion. Promirion isn't very touristic that's why we liked it. An abundant breakfast was served; with every morning something special for our girls. The owner came to visit us on a daily basis; asking if everything was okay and providing us with tips where to go (beaches, restaurants, villages). We felt very welcomed. The Thalia guest house is a perfect base to explore the beautiful Pelion region.
Cons: Take into account it is a bit difficult to park your car in front of the guesthouse. There is a parking place at 200 metres distance.
Pros: The warm welcoming of the Host. The breakfast was also very nice. The diner in the taverna of the old village on the main place. Charming
Cons: The Access to the Guest house is complicated and the house is far from the main beaches.

Cons: Parking difficulty in the village
Pros: Clean, modern, comfortable, well designed rebuild mountain house, very good fresh made breakfast, perfect host.
Cons: The difficult to reach location on the outside of a not so beautiful, cosy or interesting village.
Pros: Staff were very kind and waiting for me. I got lost and I arrived later than expected and they called me to be sure everything was ok. They suggested places where to go in the area. Room was very cozy and comfortable.
Cons: It was a bit difficult to reach and a bit far from the main touristic points, but nothing important having a car
Pros: We had the most wonderfull time in Thalia guesthouse at Promiri, our hosts were very lovely and helped. us with tips about trips in the area. The place is very clean and family friendly, the village is beautifull with great view. Breakfasts were delicious
Pros: The property is just lovely, keeping many original features, but with a modern touch. Very warm, welcoming staff and owner who went the extra mile by providing a 5 star breakfast, answering questions about the local area and even going to pick up medicine from the pharmacy for us. Pelion is a great destination for all seasons and we would definitely stay at Thalia's guest house again if we visit at another time of year.
Cons: Very narrow road to get to the property (although this is the nature of Pelion) and no on-site parking.
Pros: Excellent Property, maybe the cleanest I have been in my life! Fantastic breakfast, traditional.
Cons: The only negative thing that I can think is the parking. Very narrow roads and you need to park around 150m from the property. At night it is not the easiest to do...

Pros: Exceptional beach
Cons: Sheets stained, but were changed the second day (without complaining about it).
Pros: It s has a feel like home, nice hosts, beautiful terrace and hotel, good food. -clean sea - no waves In Mikro you have to go to Aiolos tavern. Good food, honest and nice owner. I hope to return someday!
Cons: The road that leeds there ( aprox 1,5 km) - lack of asphalt
Pros: Great place for holidays! The Hotel is located just a few steps away from the sea. No need to drive! The hotel is clean, small, with very friendly owners, friendly staff! The area is fantastic, the waters are amazing and the sandy beach is reall wonderful. The hotel offers all the facilities. The Hotel cleaned our rooms every day and we loved it. At the beginning of Micro is a local tavern Aiolis. Find Aiolis the food is really amazing and the view perfect. We recommend it for sure. We will come back again!
Pros: All was excellent - as usual!
Pros: Our hosts was very nice! The hotel very close to the beach ! The generous balcony at every room! The hotel was quiet !
Cons: Location: The roads in Pelion are not so good, but last 8 km was a nightmare, including 2 km without asphalt ! With 2 children (one 16 years old) our price for 2 rooms was not so small ! For this price we obtained 2 rooms in 2 star hotel situated in isolated area, near a dirty beach.
Pros: This is a family run hotel who do everything they can to make you feel welcome. We appreciated the inclusive breakfast and the facility to have snacks. We can also recommend the tavernas- especially the one that you come to first on the road into Mikro. Really great food at good prices. The hotel is great value for money - and the bed was super comfortable!
Pros: 1.Very friendly attitude of the owners. 2.Exemplary cleanliness and services. 3.Location very close to the beach. 4.Pleaseant surprise kitchenette and wifi in room. 5.Big room and large balcony.
Cons: 1.A regular and permanent noise, possibly the pump or the boiler. 2.Mosquitoes. 3.The unpaved portion of the road up to Mikro. 4.The problem of larger hotels with families lacking decency and respect for other clients.

Pros: Very nice place with very nice view
Cons: It’s all perfect
Pros: The friendly staff, relaxed, peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful setting and fantastic views! The breakfast was also varied with a lot of choice and with good quality food! The hotel was beautifully styled and clean and felt very much like a home from home - a genuinely calming and serene place to stay with glorious virws and sunsets. To us, the hotel represented more than just a place to stay in order to explore the Pelion, it added enormously to our enjoyment of the area and the holiday overall. Sue the owner and Leonidis the manager genuinely made you feel welcome and catered for all our needs without ever feeling intrusive - they made us feel like we were family and not just guests - thank you for such a wonderful stay !
Cons: The only thing that could be improved is the coffee , however I found it difficult to access good coffee anywhere in Greece , so it might be unfair to judge the hotel on this score!
Pros: Location is unbeatable - what an amazing view! We must have got an upgrade; room had a balcony with this sweeping, magnificent view over the gulf. Very nice pool area.
Cons: The room got quite hot at night. Ask staff for cooling tips (there’s no ac for environmental reasons).
Pros: Good location with perfekt views; nice pool; very clean; good breakfast; friendly hotel owners/staff.
Pros: The location was great, the room was spacious and the view was spectacular. It was not too hot at night so no need for a/c, but there is a fan on the ceiling.
Cons: The breakfast was extremely basic, and part of it was uncovered. The room was clean when we arrived but no cleaning was done during our 4 night stay (the trash cans were emptied and the bed was made).
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the view amazing. Staff was very helpfull
Cons: We loved everything.
Pros: Perfect location, great pool, nice restaurants, very accommodating staff.
Cons: Only downfall- no air conditioning
Pros: A very relaxed hotel in a stunning part of Greece unspoilt and friendly.
Pros: The location!
Cons: Everything was fine!! No problems or dissatisfaction!!
When you stay at Platanias Hillside in South Pelion, you'll be 12 minutes by car from Lafkos Square. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We have rented numerous rooms in Greece - this was aning the very best ones. Great view, great staff, very clean, great facilities, fantastic value for money...
Pros: Clean and convenient, big appartment.
Cons: If there were some more blankets, it would be great (for this time of the year).
Pros: Amazing view! Very clean!
Cons: Insect nets could help.
Pros: Great sea view, comfortable accomodation and very support staff
Cons: Lack of moschito net
Pros: Great place, spacious rooms with great views over the sea and village, the back of the hotel is also wonderful with a lot of vegetation.
Cons: The only real problem here was the absence of mosquito nets. Also note that This hotel is not a place for laizy people or persons with mobility issues, access to the beach is by walking down some steps - I found it very very charming but it is not for said categories, unless they want to use a car each time they go out.
Pros: The room was really nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. There were cooking facilities. The owner was very friendly and helpful, she offered us a late check out, as the room was not immediately occupied. The balcony had a really nice view! We enjoyed our breakfast there. We would definitely stay in Platanias Hillside if we visit Platanias again.
Cons: The space for shower was a bit narrow, nevertheless the bathroom was big. Although there was plenty of cream-soap available, we did not find shampoo. But these were only minor observations as we really enjoyed our stay there.
Pros: The views are breathtaking
Pros: Place very nice, clean, friendly....

Every room is with dishes, a refrigerator, towels etc. It only takes 1 minute to get to the beach, the sea is calm. Perfect place for families with amazing sunsets . Pros: Staff was amazing Clean Good food in the resturant Just next to the water Beach is great and if you want some action you can drive 12 minutes to the village above were you have many resturants
Cons: Little expensive..better to try direct with the hotel
Pros: The maisonette was extremely spacious and we loved the quality of the furniture. Well-equipped, regularly cleaned and airy, it really is a great choice for families with kids. We especially liked the sea-view balcony which is a pleasant place to be during both the day and night hours. Owner and the staff are utterly friendly and helpful, and the home-made food is something special (well worth opting for the half board as the belonging taverna is awesome!).
Cons: The only thing we'd change is the bathroom which was a bit on the small-side, especially considering the space offered by the rest of the maisonette, making it hard to manage the kids inside, or even ourselves sometimes.
Pros: Excellent location. Ideal for a family with children. Quiet and comfortable. Layers and sunbeds on the beach, free of charge. Most important, this provides you space at the beach. (which is narrow) The water in the sea is clear, and there are practically no waves.
Pros: The hotel is just by nice quiet beach on Pelion west coast . The staff were very friendly & helpful. Nice restaurant with fresh fishes and sea food. Great value for money. Not far from Argalasti and Milina, beautiful village worth visiting.

The beach is just in front and is very nice no waves sandy bottom. Highly recommended for families with kids. We realy enjoyed our stay there it was very relaxable. Special thanks to Dimitri who made our stay there perfect!!!!
Pros: The biggest advantage was its proximity to the beach. The beach is a narrow strip, but enough for relaxing on the place's sun beds and shades. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place has its own TABERNA which is comfortable.
Cons: Nearest shops are 15 minutes drive away.

Pros: The host is a warm and charming man, the room is spacious and clean. We had everything we needed. The family owns a bar and restaurant near the hostel and the son prepares a great burger, an excellent green salad and wonderful potato chips. We were there for 5 nights and it was excellent!

In the hotel’s restaurant guests can taste local cuisine. The bar enjoying a privileged location by the sea, serves refreshing drinks along with local wines. A buffet breakfast is served daily. Pros: Location is very good if you want quite amd relaxe vacation... The hotel is on the beach, next to taverna od hotel. The food is excelent, and breakfast too.Its little difficult to find thr place, because their is only one way from the main road to Kalamos. You must come with car if you want to go out of Calamos, because their is no bus ot other traffic. The beach in this ares are beatifull, mostly with only a few people on it
Cons: there isnt WIFI in rooms, so if you need it, you must seat in taverna
Pros: Friendly relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful setting
Cons: Wifi was a bit spotty and congested
Pros: Beautiful, amazing viewes. Cristal clear water. Extremly peaceful area.
Cons: Not a single, basic shop in the area.
Pros: Peaceful location, lovely beach
Cons: Could be cleaner
Pros: Good location from which to explore the pelion peninsula. Quiet, comfotable and pretty.
Pros: I was so happy to find that they had restaurant service, as the village of Kalamos doesn't have any other restaurants, as far as I could tell. Beautiful spot, far away from the rest of the world.
Cons: Their wifi service was down - one of the reasons I booked with this particular hotel. As well, it's a long drive through crazy mountainous roads (sometimes one-lane wide) to get to Kalamos from Bolos. The bathroom window didn't close properly so the bathroom was very cold, and I couldn't take a shower in the 12'c bathroom in the morning! Finally, I found it rather expensive for what we got and where we were located. For a similar room in Delphi, for example, I paid half the price!
Pros: beach nearby-nice restaurant, good prices -quiet hotel especially for families with young children
Pros: The quite location, and the accommodation as a whole. The personnel and the welcome upon arrival.
Cons: The manager/boss was not friendly when I informed about the fact that I had to leave one day earlier because of job reasons. He obliged to pay for the whole stay, although the conditions of the reservation mention that in case of cancelling at the latest moment only the first night is to be payed. The food in the restaurant didn't have a lot of tast
Pros: Beautiful landscape, fresh air, location directly on the beach, far from any source of noise
Cons: Road to hotel needs improvement.
Pros: Environment, sea
Pros: every thing

Pros: Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional.
Cons: WiFi poor in rooms but good in public places
Pros: Staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Nicos! Room very comfortable, with a delicious breakfast in the morning. Brilliant location, only 5 mins from the beach and other tavernas! Also only 1 minute from the bus stop, where the bus dropped us from Volos.
Pros: Friendly and helpful host and family. Clean, spacious room with a nice balkony. Near the beach and restaurants.
Cons: The room could be nicer and more functionally furnished then it would be perfect. Off-season the place was quiet. Breakfast was not rich but it was okay.
Pros: The family mood at the hotel was enjoyable. The commitment of the owners to make sure the guests feel good is to be appreciated. The restaurant of the hotel is very good and quite affordable.
Cons: The breakfast, included in the room price, was average only. Some diversity could make it much better!
Pros: Everything was perfect, kind host, lovely wife, perfect location for those who don't like the uproar, hubbub ...
Cons: The TV channels are only in Greek language. If you don't understand the language - you are looking at the TV like the picture ...
Pros: Friendly people, good value. They kindly did washing for a very modest charge.
Pros: Close to the beach and just about everything in Platanias. Friendly Owners.
Cons: Hotel a little dated. Breakfast a bit dull and boring.
Pros: Staff was really helpful, if you need something just had to ask.
Cons: A little noisy over night, lot of mosquitoes. There is a barbecue in front of the hotel, and the smell comes up to your room. Probably if we used the air conditioning it would be better.
The stone-built Archontiko Parisi is a listed 1834 mansion located in the area of Lafkos. The main square of the village is just 100 metres away. Each room at Archontiko is individually decorated with traditional rugs and furnishings. All units feature wooden floors and ceilings, and come with a TV and a mini fridge. Guests can prepare coffee or tea in their rooms. Guests can take a walk at the cobbled streets of Lafkos or visit the nearby villages, such as Promiri situated 5 km away. The seaside city of Volos is around 50 km from Archontiko. Free Wi-Fi access and free parking are provided.
Pros: Cosy, quiet place by the sea. Small private beach with stones, clear water.
Cons: Lots of sea urchins requires proper swimming shoes.
Pros: Perfect location if you would like to reach some of the lovely beaches nearby like Potistika, Mourtia, Paltsiq etc. At the property there is everything you need for a relaxing holidays. The garden is amazingq equipped with all the facilities and you ay have dinner just by the sea or on the veranda looking over the sea. Quiet and charming place suitable for people who love fishing, diving and serenity. The staff is friendly and helpful giving information for the places around worth seeing. We enjoyed romantic dinners having fresh fish and watching the sunsets=. Do I reccommend it to everybody who wants to escape from noisy and crowded luxury tourist areas.
Cons: The matresses were very hard and overused
Pros: A great hard-to-get-to place if you are looking for total isolation from the world. There is no crowd, no noise, no road, no shops, no Internet, nothing. The hotel (actually a few houses in a large garden) is a tucked-in paradise. The owner and his family and staff were extremely nice and willing to help in every way. We thank them again for making us feel so relaxed.
Cons: A small beach in front of the place is full of sea urchins, so you have to use swimming shoes or go to the other beach. Mosquitoes are a problem at night.
Pros: More than friendly. The owner and the staff. Great location. 30 m from the bad to the sea. I need a dentist, they send me to the right person. I want to give me a sea view room, they found a way to satisfy my need.
Pros: Apartments are between olive trees, in deep shadow. This whole place is very calm and relaxing. Closeness of the sea is great, there was always sea breeze, so we did not even have need to turn on air condition. Sea is really clean and water was just perfect for swimming.
Cons: The beach in front of the apartments is like sea urchin colony! It was not possible to walk into the sea barefoot. My children were negatively surprised and did not want to go swimming. We and people from neighboring apartments decided to clean part of beach, so we together collected sea urchins and made "a path" without them. Owners could have made that effort instead of us! Sheets and towels are changed once in five days, in between no one cleans the rooms. Because of broken bridge, it was complicated to reach the apartments - we had to drive one kilometer around on dusty and "adventurous" road.
Pros: Direct access to the beach. Just one step away!! Kate at the reception waited for us late in the night very polite and smiling!! Mrs Antonia the owner friendly and helpful plus she makes tasty honey "loukoumades"!! We passed a lovely week!! We will visit again!! Thank you!!
Pros: We couldn't fault the location. Unfortunately we arrived during one of the worst storms in Pelion which didn't really let up all week. So, although we know Kalamos well, the weather on this occasion wasn't good so I don't feel that we really made the most of what the Kalama Apartments had to offer so I am reluctant to make a judgement.
Pros: Nice small beach, very clean water, there is no much tourists so it's perfect if you want to relax There is two restaurants close by, but there is no market, the nearest one is in Argalasti. But every day you can buy bread, fruits and fresh fish (someone is bringing it by car).
Cons: It's important not to follow navigation, because road is very, very bad. To arrive to Kalamos you have to go to Argalasti and than go to Kalamos (that road is good), there is no bridge to Kalama apartments, so you have to go off road, wich is not to inconviniant, its less then 1 km.
Pros: Beautiful spot right on the sea-side. Lots of shade by big trees. Walk out of your appartment through the simple courtyard right to the pebble beach and into the sea. Romantic setting
Cons: adress and location just not correct
Pros: the room was comfort, medium to large size, with a nice balcony and view and was pretty quiet
Cons: no breakfast, and there was notthing near for breakfast, the road to the village and the hotel was very narrow
Cons: We were not expected at all and had to wait more that 2 hours until we managed with the help of local people to establsih contact with the hotel owner per phone. The hotel owner sent his parents who were not speaking any foreign language. The attitute of this "personnel" was quite inimical, we were shoked by the very unfriendly and unconfortable for us atmosphere.
Pros: It's very nice familly run studios-hotel. Close to the beach. Nice souranding, great owners.
Cons: The village itself is very difficult to be reached. The road is very steep and narrow.
Pros: Paradisiac water, swiming, tranquility , superb paysage
Cons: mosquito, very smool space for auto driving
Pros: The location was good, very close to the sea. Kalamos is a very quiet and unspoilt village.
Cons: The hotel is really old ,the room was small, different from their internet site and the stuff not kind.
Pros: Although off the beaten path, a fantastic value. We planned one night and stayed for four. Room basic but quite adequate, with hotplate, refrigerator, and adequate selection of tableware. The hotel is right on the beach - 30 steps away - but the beach is stoney with sea urchins - bring watershoes! Other beaches near. A few taverns nearby, but only tiny food market.
Cons: Hard to find. From Volos drive ~40 minutes to Argalasti. 0.8km past town center turn right -> Kalamos. <1km later, fork right. Go ~4km more down switchbacks to beach, then along beach. 1 block after, before footbridge, take sharp right and cross river at next bridge. 1 block later, turn left at "Hotel Kalamos" sign, then jog right/left into entrance. Shower pressure sometimes low.
Pros: The hotel is made by nice apartments very near to the sea.The place is extremely beautiful and very calm. The description offered in the internet site is quite true: no life at all..so,if you are searching for deep peace and no social life this is the place for you...on the other hand you might find the need to get out of the place after a while searching for more "activities".Overall the owners are very friendly and very service oriented. We have been there with two 14 years old teens, after five days they wished to seek a more "adventurous" place....
Pros: Kalama Studios is not a hotel but a typical Greek Studio accomodation. No staff at all. We know Greek Studios, there was no surprise or disappointment. Actually we were alone at Kalama Studios but we had no problems. Kalamos is not easy to reach but it is beautiful .
Cons: As mentioned before, it is not a Hotel. We arrived one day before our reservation and we stayed at Kalama Studios two days instead of one. The lady welcomed us and prepared immediately the room for us. She was always nice and friendly. Once in Kalamos, the way to the Studios is difficult to find. A sign is advisable.
Pros: Excellent location and very friendly staff. Room was very nice, ample and bright, great view :)
Cons: The bathroom was a bit tight.
Cons: Too many stears . You should be ready for 90 stairs to reach your room
Pros: Near the sea
Cons: No hot water No breakfast No balcony
Pros: The lady was lovely and welcoming. Rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. View is breath taking.private little beach in front
Cons: The stairs were a bit of a challenge
