The food was fantastic always too much to choose from! Cava at breakfast time. The infinity pool was well designed. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom too. We were advised at arrival that there was a dress code for the restaurant, we followed those instructions but the dress code was not enforced by the hotel as other guests wore flip flops and shortd in the dining room. Swimming pool opening times were late many people like to swim before breakfast or use the Thellasso pool. Many guest left towels on sun loungers all day when they were not even at the poolside.
hotel is absolutley brilliant, main swimming pool looks amaizing but food was a thing which we liked the most everything was ok
staff was very nice and helpful Didn't have queen or king size beds. Had to fasten 2 beds together.
View!!!!!! Pool!!!!!!!!!!!! Room, spa, service, location are also good Slow bar service, quality of cocktails in all-inclusive is very poor, room: very cold marble floor and slippers are not provided and no bidet in bathrooms
Fabulous swimming pool and close to the beach It could be a bit noisy at night
Nice rooms, pool and location to beach Long walk to main resort
Excellent hotel with great views of the Amadores beach and the ocean. Very nice breakfast. Very friendly staff.
The restaurant facilities and pool area were excellent and the cleanliness and maintenance was second to none. Couples with young babies all deposited their soiled nappies/diapers into the poolside waste bins which is neither hygienic or pleasant, the hotel should put up a sign to request guests not to do this.
Overlooks beautiful Amadores beach which I perferred to neighbouring Puerto Rico one. Most rooms have a decent balcony with comfy quality chairs + table. Room (mine was 4412b) was nicely decored, air- conditioned, with bathroom marbled and both shower+bath included. Two pools, the main one out front having nice effect of almost appearing to drop off over the edge. Spa facility, hairdressers, manicurist, some gym equipment, spacious all glass fronted dining room with view of beach and ocean, and also an a la carte restaurant. Staff are friendly and quite a number had good english. There's also a pool table, table tennis, table football etc and a room to entertain youngsters. Worth going half-board. Clientel type during my stay seemed almost totally couples or families, so dont expect to meet many singles by the pool or bar. It lacked a bit of evening atmosphere / entertainment (even though they provided some, audience-wise it was very thin and bit dead), so you will want to head out in Puerto Rico - taxi costs bout €3.50 each way.
Excellent facilities, spacious rooms, well run restaurant. Poor staff on reception, not very competent nor well dressed for a hotel of this standard. Reception area lacked atmosphere.
The garden was great and the architecture of the hotel and its facilities were fascinating. The activity i.e. swimming facilities was very good! Service of the staff was excellent. The meals were tasty and there was something for every taste. Also for vegetarians .. shich is essential for this customer The nordic walking activity could have professional guiding with some history of the island . or the island's geography - to be talked about during the tour. The nordic walking tour might have been more interesting with these points ind´cluded
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Coridal. The staff were amazing they helped in everyway possible to make our stay a very enjoyable one. The standard of the adult entertainment shows at night could be improved and more varied as many of the quests found they were better off going to Puerto Rico for nightly entertainment.
The situation is excellent, the hotel is spotless and well maintained with beautiful gardens and pool, and activities if you wish to join in. Staff charming and very helpful. Nice stroll to the beach and the beautiful port. Perfect for our weekend of relaxation.
The staff, cleanliness and facilities were excellent. My family and I went for a week's break in the sum and were made very welcome by the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms very clean. We would definitely return to this hotel. No
No information about hiking and quality wine. Language problems.
Location to beaches and harbour. Gardens and interior plus pool areas first class. Breakfast great selection and good quality. Beds not comfortable. For a 4* hotel we expected free drinking water, bathroom robes and slippers. No information in our room about the hotel, television, or where to go. €200 per night way too expensive. We had a problem with a meal in the pool restaurant where we were charged €12.50 per person for the buffet at 3.15pm and then to find they were closing at 3.30. We had to rush to get food (only soup and salad left), we complained at the hotel reception and got the mean sum of €2.50 discount each, very badly handled hence no recommendation to stay there.
The facilities available and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the Staff
About 99% of the staff were excellent one guy the first day we arrived was obnoxious Every meal was buffet style meaning food was luke warm most of the time and overcooked. The layout of the dining room was confusing and it was difficult seeing all on offer. For a hotel of this class the food was not good. Had I realised it was all buffets i would only have done bed and breakfast and would advise anyone else to do the same. The evening entertainment was dire and drinks expensive. For a hotel of this class I would not have expected
Food was relatively poor
Location and atmosphere. Dinner buffet wasn't that great. If you want beverages at dinner you are required to purchase them.
This parador is located in the centre of the island with magnificent views of the mountains and easy access to walks and the very special Roque Nublo. I was amazed to get a twin room for 60 euros. Breakfast was extra at 15 euros each but very special. There could not be anything to dislike at this hotel.
The location of the Parador up in the mountains is excellent with stunning views from the bedrooms (Mount Teide on Tenerife can be seen on a clear day). The bedroom accommodation, lounges, & main areas are of the usual high standard found in Paradors (this one has only recently been opened/renovated). We thought the price of the Spa/indoor pool etc at over 30 euros each person was excessive otherwise we would have used it more. It's a pity there is no outdoor pool.
The view from the room, the balcony furniture with fleecy rugs for sitting above the clouds was amazing after a day of driving the zig zag roads. the cafe/restaraunt staff were very helpfull and attentive to the kids, and the standard of food excelent. The swiming pool shown in the photo's is not available unless you use the spa which is out of bounds for kids at all times. I had read reviews about it being closed so checked on paradors website, trip advisor and hotels website and there was no mention of this. This was the main reason we had booked.
clean new hotel with stunning views and very friendly staff; the reception staff speaks either english or german as a foreign language; Arrive early to enjoy the afternoon sun on the terrace looking at the great mountain scenery! only buffet breakfast is offered
Excellent location for walks in the mountains and visiting the interior of Gran Canaria.
View and location Service was rather cold and off hand not what i expect at that level of hotel. Also Spa and pool were closed which i was not made aware off when booking so as a family very disappointed!
The view from the balcony towards the setting sun was beautiful. The hotel offered what they promised in this regard. It was quite expensive.
the view from our room was breathtaking, the ambiance was relaxing, and the food was fantastic.
Fantastic iews from our room and balcony. Staff not very friendly. No lighting for inside the wardrobe/lobby.
Tranquility Booking.com information stated things that were not there, ie., solarium, massage, jacuzzi, business centre, laudnry & ironing.
Good food and friendly staff. Good base for walking Did not like the open plan bathroom-I like toilets to have a door! Also the room was small and smelt of food, and there was nowhere to sit comfortably, apart from the bed
i liked almost everything there. Nice atmosphere, good garden, breathetaking view on the mountains, nice stuff. -
Good location for walking. Attractive comfortable rooms. Other guests very nice. Disappointing food
Splendid, though challenging walking from the door into the amazing Gran Canerian mountains and gorges Eating in the evening is a problem. Though one of the largest central Gran Canarian villages, Tejeda is very quiet even in the 'high season' of mid-February - with wholesome but simple food available from only one (different) cafe per night. But its Almond Festival, when blossom abounds at this time, changes everything - though this year this was spoiled by rain.
Lovely hotel well situated to walk up Roque Nublo. Has a nice common room, but unheated and locked in the evening (Feb.'09) No heating, everyone seemed to wear coats for breakfast, no restaurant or bar open. All restaurants in the village close before 9:00pm if you can get them to serve you. I like a quiet life, but what happens here after 20:00. I don't recomend the drive to the village after dark!
The Location, The Individuality, The general comfort. The friendly helpfulness of the staff.. Cold breakfast room was a nuisance, Local amenities in Tejeda for late eating were very restrictive. This would not stop us visiting again, we would plan our days differently.
Good location for walks in central Gran Canaria. Probably one of the better hotels in that area. Lack of heating, especially in bath room. Only 2 quality restaurants in Tejeda, and open only from 20:00 to 21:30.
The room was cosy. The hotel's staff and all people in Tejeda were very friendly. The mountain views - great.
Great location and view, very friendly and helpful staff, god facilities, good breakfast (but remember to bring warm clothes for cool mornings). Possibility to have earlier breakfast, and perhaps more varied selection of bread.
