There's free internet on each room (with cable). The location is great if you have a car (there's parking). The beds are too short
comfortable matress no window to leave open at night - as only had a door - not secure to leave open
Quiet. Coffee and tea facilities in the room. Close to large shopping centre. Near to reach both Etretat and Honfleur, and Le Havre centre by car. Rooms too small. No comfort. No reception area. Montivilliers centre is far away but in some way it is good since the atmosphere is not friendly in evening.
Very practical location for a one-night stop, easily reached from the highway. One needs a code to check-in after 18:00, we did not know that before and obtaining the code costs expensive mobile phone calls. This code should be communicated when making the reservation.
Very nice rooms - quiet with double glazing - could be noisy with window open, as close to dual carriageway. Situation was a bit of a surprise in relation to shopping cerntre. No restaurant for the evening. Had to go into Montivilliers.
modern rooms, clean, simple, good value for money they forgot to put new towels and soap when they did the room, but I got some when I asked for them.
The receptionist was welcoming, the room was immaculate, the bed very comfortable, and breakfast excellent. Shall be interested to find out in the future whether all Kyriad hotels are as good. Would have liked to be able to get a multi-lingual channel on the TV.
Rooms are clean and renevated, hotel staff is helpfull. Location is in the commercial center, a bit far from city center. If you have a car, it is a good option.
The parking lot was fenced and had cctv coverage. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. A non-smoking room was requested.
Very friendly and helpful staff. If you're travelling by car it's in a good location with lots of interesting places to see.
The staff was not very friendly. The restaurant was expensive. It was very noisy from the room next to us.
Very good staff. Good rooms. Good breakfast. Better than expected. Well done Campanile!
It's a simple and pretty hotel in a easy location and with a good breakfast
Standard old fashioned Campanile hotel (not yet renovated). Plus of this hotel was the large green space around it and friendly owner. We paid a promotional rate, otherwise the hotel would have been too expensive, as all Campanile hotels have become over the past few years. Breakfast (euro 9) was also too expensive for the quality offered, especially the quality of the bread and most noticably the croissants and pain chocolats is decreasing every year in all Campanile hotels. From fresh locally baked in the "good old Campanile days" to reasonable industrial bake off to low quality/budget industrial bake off. I am starting to wonder if there is any real butter in them left.
the location it was hard to find because the signage was poor in Trouville. We had not stayed at a "Latitudes" hotel before and didn't know it was marked as "Beach Hotel"
The hotel is old and not keept with proper maintenance.
View from the room. Interior colour scheme.
The hotel is fairly basic but clean and very well situated. It could do with a bit oof paint in the public areas.
The boats the entourage the beds
Room lay out and view Poor breakfast arrangement. A meet and greet would be better.
Location and heated pool Strange odor in room
Had a nice view of the water There was no m ention onthe booking that we needed to pre book a car park space
Sea-view room attractive; position next to the Casino excellent . Helpful staff. Superb location for soaking up the atmosphere of the great painters who came to Trouville - Monet, Dufy etc. Indoor pool was good but needs covered access from hotel.
Great location, 50 meters from the beach, a lot of cafes around. Very helpfull and friendly staff.
The hotel owners were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Generously offered to drive me to and from town (unsolicited). Very comfortable speaking English. Rooms are good-sized, well-lit, and tile floors throughout give room clean, fresh feel. Special touches like towel warming rack, WiFi internet access, and a small table and chairs outside each room so guests can enjoy the beautiful gardens.
Spotlessly clean, with new furniture, comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom. It's a 3 minute drive away from the charming Honfleur touristic centre (where parking costs just €3 per day). I'd also very much recommend the generous breakfast. Staff was very welcoming and bicycles are provided for free. All in all, this hotel is extremely good value for money and we definitely would go again.
Le professionalisme du proprio. L'acceuil. La grandeur de la chambre. La propreté. Le petit déjeuner. De loin le meilleur qualité-rapport prix. Le fait de pouvoir garer la voiture directement à la porte de la chambre. Les vélos de haute qualité. Most professional owner. - The atmosphere. Space of room. Cleanness. Best deal for our money. Park the car right at the door of the room. Bicycles.
the welcome and friendliness of the manager and staff
the cleanliness of the room, the welcome of the owner, the nearness to the town and motorway network.
Very friendly welcome, English spoken well.
Very nice Motel good decoration inside and out, good parking helpful and friendly staff, excellent value made us very welcome, we will certainly return.
very helpful manager-clean modern room
Comfortable night's sleep
Excellent breakfast, with lots of variety and choice
nothing as the price of drinks totally spolied my stay The price of 4 drinks at the pool gin & tonic, vodka & coke, martini & lemonade 26 euro each and a cognac & coke 27 euro total cost of 4 drink 105 euro. This is robbery. We also stayed this week at the Victoria Jugfrau 5 * 7 similar drinks came to 62 euros(85 CHF) & The Hilton Evian les Bain 4*, the same 4 drinks 42 euros.
Had a sea view which was nice. Very friendly and polite staff. Spacious room. Outdoor swimming pool. Fitness room way too small. No kettle in the rooms so no possibility to make a cup of coffee/tea. Rooms need some fixing, a few scratches on the wall, at the bottom of the doors, etc...This is disapointing for a luxury hotel. Breakfast far too expensive (30 euros!!).
The spacious accomodation, especially the well apppinted bathroom Menu choice for evening meal was limited if not dining in the Etrier
An all-around great place to stay when in Deauville!
The atmosphere of the bigginings of the 20th century Everything was perfect
very nice beautiful hotel
Very good staff with a friendly and not at all stuffy approach. Excellent concierge staff (large gentleman with moustache been with the hotel for 16 years) who parked my Bristol with the care it deserves and aranged for a valet! Good location within easy walking distance of the beach and the many restaurants in the town. Nice lounge area for a drink before dinner. Good spa which gave a nice facial for my lady friend on one of the mornings. Overall a really great hotel for a short break. Nothing at all. Some might say it is not cheap, but then you are staying in the nicest hotel in the town.
everything was perfect, service, restaurants nothing found
The view, and the excellent meal we had at you top micelin resturant. No
The room was of a nice size, the facilities very good, and the hotel location is excellent. We intend to return there later in the year, but spend more time. When we booked we wanted half board, but we could not book this on line. they should offer it for weekend breaks or make it inclusive for a given period.
relaxing in room price of food.drink
I love the ambience of the place and the garden and bar were such relaxing places to have a drink. The little plates of canapes were delicious and the miniature cakes served with a cup of tea, to die for! It is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The price of breakfast is a little high considering it is the same for continental or cooked. I think there could and should be a price differential. I couldn't book room with breakfast, it was room only on offer (not just your site). Swimming pool could do with a refurbishment.
Great location and reception upon arrival, nice and spacious room & bathroom, good food A bit pricey
The location is amazing! The hotel is beautiful. The staff is too slow to respond.
Casino Drink/Wine is extremely expensive
relaxing fact that the reception did not tell us about two nights of filming and that we should have been told when booking not on arrival bit underhanded. by the hotel if we had known probably would have gone a week later.
Service and the food!
Old school luxuryvibe on Saterday evening. Bathroom was not in line with the rest.
perfect location, friendly staff
Location and beauty of the hotel Breakfast expensive
This hotel is outstanding. It is expensive, but you get personalised service and attention in return. The restaurant is outstanding. This is a place you should go to if you can forget the price of things. Old fashioned quality, style and personal attention. No spcific comments
The hotel was delightful - the reception staff were exceptional. The fact that parking was available was also helpful. We enjoyed our time there. We thought the prices in the restaurant steep.
perfect location, friendly staff
The room and location There was a family next door to us with 5 kids running around all night. Odd for this type of establishment.
Nice location in quiet setting. Beautiful grounds. First rate buffet breakfast. Strong smell of paint in our room (difficulty sleeping). Hotel was almost empty during, so probably could have given us an other room that was not freshly painted. Dining was closed during our stay.
Excellent setup. Great place in the countryside. The bed rooms (and especially the beds) are very comfortable.
Lovely Hotel. Very Expensive. Menu in French only and nobody spoke English in the evening so had to guess what to order.
The staff were welcoming, and very relaxed and helpful. The ambience of the hotel was delightful - it was situated in peaceful and attractive countryside, and was a beautiful and interesting building. The room was lovely, quiet with a good view and had a luxurious feel. The facilities were excellent, bar (indoor and outdoor), restaurant, 3 tennis courts, indoor swimming pool with adjacent outdoor sunbathing/relaxing area, table tennis, pool table.
The very relaxing ambience of the hotel and standard of comfort provided. The staff were also extremely helpful and the buffet breakfast was very comprehensive, although a little expensive at 18 Euros. The fact that the Restaurant was closed on both Sunday and Monday Evenings which forced me to drive into Deauville to eat.
Spacious clean rooms. Very luxury hotel at a very low price as they have great offers on booking.com. The nature around the hotel is wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpfull. The prices for mini bar, breakfast etc are way too high! One cappucino costs 9 Euro!
location is really good, calm place, park. Good swimming pool
We found this hotel to be totally what one would not expect. It was quiet and relaxing and certainly a place we would re-visit.
The design of the hotel was superb - we hadnt realised until we arrived that they were modern buildings but the use of timber and the layout was very impressive. The food was excellent and all the staff were exceptionally professional and very welcoming. I had been concerned, reading some of the reviews, that the staff would let the place down, but that wasn't the case! Very badly behaved child in the restaurant rather spoiled our dinner but I suppose there is not a lot the hotel can do about that!
Its closeness to everything that matters in honfleur The hotel staff were first rate
Good position, just 5 minutes walk to the old harbour where there are a wide selection of restaurants, bars etc. which serve both evening meals and breakfasts. Rooms were absolutely fine. Rooms at the front are noisy due to traffic. Not clear that there was secure parking to the rear of the hotel but the public car park just over the road was fine.
Clean,Comfortable.Superb position.Excellent breakfast.Secure Parking worth the reassurance at 10euro.Front room overlooking outer harbour.Efficient lift.
Friendly staff, good location Parking was not included and needed to be paid for by the day
The hotel location is near the harbor where all the action is taking place. The room is well aquipped and comfortable.
The hotel enjoys a good location for the centre of Honfleur and has good facilities in the room as well asthe hotel in general. The breakfasts were excellent value for money.
Easy to locate on road into town but not far from centre. Tea and coffee available in room. Handy parking.
close proximity to the town
Close to town centre
friendly staff and good service, well positioned for Honfluer centre with good car parking facilities.
Room quite small and smelt of smoke (despite requesting a non-smoking room). Breakfast overpriced at 9 euros.
The hotel was quiet and pleasantly situated, convenient for Honfleur...It had no personality but was on the whole a pleasant place to stay. The furnishings and decor in the bedrooms would benefit from modernization and the stairs and halways need better lighting
This was an overnight stop on our way to Northern Brittany. As such it was an excellent choice with a good restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. It is impossible to answer the "classification" question above but there was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.
Excellent food, excellent staff. Our room with lounge area quiet with lovely outlook. Would have been nice to have a shower as well as bath.
we have stopped here now 3 times over a 10 year period we were wowed on every occassion, just superb NONE
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room design. Good location. Quite noisy air conditioning in the room. Hotel obviously more suited to guests wishing to visit the Casino.
food and staff
The front desk staff was superior-taking us to our room and showing us the ins and outs of our lovely room and en-suite facilities. They spoke English and were kind enough to find a repair shop for us when we had a minor problem with our auto. We did find the room a tiny bit pricey-but in the end were very pleased with not only the quality of the facilities but the impeccable staff as well. Not a fan of the little half shower door-water got all over the floor.
wolkig, stay in the spa i prefer other hotel Best Western
A real Gem in Le Havre, hidden on the third floor of the old stock exchange building. The rooms were fantastic, the spa was excellent and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Do not be put off by the casino on the ground floor or the very tacky Pasino signage on the outside of the building, there is a graphic designer somewhere who has a lot of questions to answer!!!
Super hotel, everything we expected, and more. Friendly staff, good food, and nothing was too much trouble. Loverly room, clean and well furnished, with the most comfortable beds and pillows to be found anywhere during our 7 week tour through France, Spain and Portugal. We will certainly return here when we re-visit this area. Parking was difficult to find, however we were imediatly informed when a space outside the hotel became available, so realy this was a very minor problem.
Helpful staff and very good facilities. Of the most recent hotel stays in France it was a delight to register an attempt to price at somewhere sensible levels (nearly!). Very good brasserie.
We enjoyed this hotel even though we hadn't realised it was a Casino (the name should have given it away!). The Hotel part was up on the third part anyway, so nice and quiet. The room decor was lovely in a style similar to Klimt. The hotel restaurant was fantastic with attentive staff and a gourmet menu. The spa was tranquil and quiet. There was no problem taking our baby (the hotel staff were very helpful with him and they had facilities such as cots and highchairs) however next time I would go to this hotel as a romantic couples break. The Discover Pass, including breakfast, a 3 course evening meal and use of the Spa was definitely worth getting.
Good quality and service Refused entry into casino unless passport provided - this was then scanned and no reason offered!
Nicely decorated bedroom with comfortable beds. Good value for money overall with Discovery package; only charged 8euros for 7 year old which was for dinner. Dinner a reasonable standard and good value; likewise breakfast within the package. Spa accessible with comfortable sun beds and small pool. All staff helpful and some English spoken. Casino has slot machines visible from reception which diminishes the overall effect. No entertainment on Friday night. No storage for bags once booked out.
Pleasantly surprised by our room and the maid service. It was also easily accessible from the main road. Disappointed by the decor of the lobby, and the spa was quite limited. Website makes the hotel look more modern than it is.
Breakfast was good. Puzzled about poor reviews on this point. Parking easy; pleasant surroundings. Well maintained. Our 2nd visit. While there was a shower over the bath, this had to be hand-held due to lack of shower screen.
Nice view of Pont de Normandie. Good pool. Convivial.
Pleasant and helpful staff, rooms were very comfortable and location is good for discovering Normandy and Honfluer Hotel only does breakfast, no restaurant
The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly!! We had some car trouble and the staff called the rental company for us and had the issue solved. The staff also recommended a wonderful restaurant that we walked to while our car was attended to. The breakfast was quite nice and the lobby was great for relaxing in.
The helpful staff. In our room, there was a dormer which I had to duck each time I went to my twin bed. This was not the best situation.
Room was cold, towels too small, Grim location near industrial estate. Breakfast expensive
Free Car Park and Location from Town Centre Cold Pool, No Tea making facility in room. Poor shower facility, No Mirror in room. Poor lighting over bed for reading.
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff; Not impressed with the hotel room's cleanliness; The setup of the duplex was not comfortable as there were no chairs to set in only beds.
The staff was friendly and helpfull and the rooms were very tidy
clean and efficient
Friendly staff. Clean everywhere. Good choice of food. Room slightly on the small side, but great value for money.
Very good staff.Friendly, with a smile.Reasonably comfortable bed. Hard. Very clean.Good position , close to port. Found very easily. No tea making facility in room.
A perfectly adequate room with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. Nothing, it was fine.
Nice and comfortable room, underground parking available, restaurant at the hotel and a 24h bar No hairdryer in the room. One of the elevators was closing doors way too fast and was always hitting someone.
The receptionist was very efficient and had already our 7 keys ready as soon as we stepped in. Breakfast was good, lots of varieties and good service. Clean halls and rooms. Very pleased.
reasonably priced and close to the ferry port
Bar and resturant comfort
It's a nice hotel to stay for one night. I did not like the reception staff.
Breakfast the location
A well-maintained 3-star resort hotel in Trouville, with friendly, professional staff, but perhaps 4 star prices in August.
Lack of staff on duty. Minimal service. Penny pinching management.
Good car parking
Good location for the activities we planned. It was central to most major attractions and the fantastic public transit system. Friendly staff The charge for the use of the internet was ridiculous. We went to a local internet cafe and paid 1/7 of the price. We are also accustomed to having facilities to make coffee or tea in our room when we stay at hotels in Canada or the USA. I also found it unusual that we were required to turn in our room key each time we left the hotel.
The situation of the Hotel near to the center of town. Not having TV - channels in english og Pay TV. There was just one channel in English. More information about the area in English. More reading material.
I needed to change the dates of my stay after booking and on ringing the hotel direct they agreed without question or extra charge.
comfortable and clean hotel availabilty of teas and coffees in the evenings.and the quality of coffess at NIght. we had four drinks, the chocolate fine the coffees cold and undrinkable and they cost a lot of money
Good clean well located hotel Breakfast cost a bit expensive at €14.50
Very pretty exterior. Easy access to main restaurant area and town but beach quite a way. Parking free and easy. Hotel bar expensive and had to wait for night receptionist to serve and it was only 10pm. First morning breakfast hectic but ok. Second morning much quieter(Monday). But, horror of horrors, a French hotel that ran out of Croissants and French Sticks!!!!! After complaining we were given a 5€ discount for two of us.
Good, clean room, probably a bit too small Excellent breakfast in the beautiful patio room Great historic interiors, lots of original furniture and art Very good, friendly and efficient service Very good location Can't say there were anything we didn't like
location to town and ease of parking
the building is typical french with lots of original features. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Steep stairs up to bedroom and head-banging beams
Nice big room, helpful personnel. (I booked the "Double Room" for 2 Nights, pls correct info below)
Our host and the entire staff were so welcoming, and the Hotel was a work of art. The art work and beautiful buildings were ourstanding and the location was a short walk from the center of the city. Free parking was a plus after spending $45 a night to park our car in Paris. We really enjoyed this hotel.
Convenient Location and friendly servicre
Excellent postion within 5 minutes walk to centre plus parking at hotel.
Really great location, safe parking, wonderful setting and very characterful. Staff were very pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The breakfast was expensive and poor. We walked to the harbour area the next day and had a far better breakfast for half the price.
The fabulous bathroom Lack of evening meals
Very well organised, exceptional staff, traditional luxury hotel Some rooms need refurbishing
The staff are polite, helpful and very well trained. They mix a very good cocktail. The bedrooms are getting shabby, particularly the bathrooms. The costs are higher than the quality one would expect. Four star quality at five star prices.
The care of staff is excellent, interior of hotel is impressive as well as its golf fields and park around hotel. Very tranquil, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere The minor things: like every morning (our room windows were looking at main entrance side) we heard motor of the big trucks coming to bring products, take trash etc...which was pretty early morning around 7-30
The surroundings are fantastic; the staff was very helpful and friendly The price for the breakfast is very expensive
The close proximity to Deauville, the pool and the golf course I thought the food was less than average. I became ill after having dinner on Tuesday night, the salmon appetizer was horrible, the riz du veau was stale and the desert gourment plate was unedible. My wife and I owned a food business in France for a number of years so we know good food. Also for the priice, the continental breakfast was way overpriced.
Quiet, pleasant views from the two windows in the room, west and north facing with sea view. very friendly and helpful staff. Alternative facilty in Golf Clubhouse for breakfast. The Golf Course and swimming facilities were good. No hot drink making facilty in room. Expensive cost of breakfast.
We liked the location with beautiful views, the old-world atmosphere, large and comfortabl bedrooms with enormous wardrobe space, including separate dressing-room, the lovely pool and good service.
The polite staff, the quality of breakfast and ease of parking
The shuttle service into Deauville The car park
Superb staff looking after bedroom, bar and transport to town Distance from town was much further than expected
